The service was impeccable from beginning to end: attentive, professional, and always with a smile. We really connected with the owners, who are lovely, passionate, and very welcoming people. We had a wonderful evening, full of good cheer and delicious flavors. A huge thank you! We will definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant without hesitation! And we're actually going back tomorrow for lunch 😅

20/01/2026: Fantastic food and service. We came back for the foie gras and mixed grill. The foie gras was really excellent and lots of it. The mixed grill is cooked to perfection on the open fire. I’ve been twice and will return next time.

11/01/2026: I recommended this restaurant because, in my last memory, it was exceptional. The dishes were very generous, the aromas delightful, the atmosphere warm and convivial, very "bon vivant"—truly something special. However, I returned yesterday with friends, and the experience was very disappointing, particularly in terms of choice and value for money. The portions used to be much larger, a point I had always emphasized and appreciated. Today, the size and quantity of the dishes are frankly disappointing, even if the flavor is still there. This is still regrettable for such a nice place in Aix-en-Provence: the quality is quite good, and the service is friendly, but it's a real shame that the quantity is no longer there.

25/01/2026: Deceptive business practices and unjustified prices. Avoid at all costs: this establishment exploits the lack of competition to trap customers. It capitalizes on its proximity to the theater to charge exorbitant prices with complete impunity. The experience was surreal. With no non-alcoholic or sugar-free drinks available, we opted for an herbal tea. They then tried to charge us a €4 "hot drink surcharge after 5 pm"! We had to ask for the menu and check for ourselves to discover that the actual surcharge was €0.80. A billing "error" that is nothing short of a blatant rip-off. I sincerely feel for the waitress who seemed to be struggling, caught between high-pressure sales tactics and understandably exasperated customers. Don't be fooled by the location; walk a little further and spend your money at an honest restaurant.

24/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We went there after a show because it was the closest bar, and the evening turned into a disaster… Dry January being what it is, I ordered two non-alcoholic beers (priced at €6 each, no less!), but they were out of everything except one that wasn't cold. So we ended up ordering a crepe (€5) and an herbal tea (€4.20), and when it came time to pay, the waitress told me it was €13 and that there was a surcharge on hot drinks after 5 pm. Seriously, who does that, considering it's not a bar but a restaurant and they don't offer anything else without alcohol or sugar? We were a large group, everyone paid for their drinks, and at the end, the waitress told us that €39 was missing from the bill. We checked the whole bill again and realized they had added extra drinks. But they wouldn't listen, and we had to pay for their rip-off. And to top it all off, being honest, I checked the menu to see where the mistake might have been, and I saw that the surcharge for hot drinks was €0.80. I had to show them that I'd been charged €13 and that they'd charged me €8 for an herbal tea before they'd even bother to give me a refund. In short, this place is a disgrace, and these people should be punished for ripping off customers like this.

A true local restaurant with artisanal products and a wide variety of flavors. Best artisan hot dogs, hand-cut fries with amazing French cheese, and delicious desserts. A true local gem run by a very nice couple. Great food made with high-quality ingredients and love. An Aix hidden gem! Best chocolate chip cookie with walnuts in Provence. The desserts here are fantastic, some are gluten-free. They also serve coffee in the morning, which is lovely on their wonderful patio overlooking the best farmers market in France. Even if you don't like hot dogs, try this place and you won't!

We discovered a very good restaurant offering rustic, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes made with quality ingredients. A great place to remember in the heart of Aix. I highly recommend it!
