03/09/2026: I went for dinner with my girlfriend on her birthday and had a delightful time. The server/owner was so friendly and passionate, the food was terrific, and the decor was second to none. Hard to find but would recommend it to anyone in the area!

03/09/2026: A unique dining experience in Aix-en-Provence! This restaurant is truly one of a kind, with beautiful lamps and tables individually designed and handcrafted by the husband of the previous owner. The space also features paintings by young artists, creating a charming and artistic atmosphere. The food was enjoyable, although it wasn’t the main highlight of our time in Aix. However, the service was excellent — the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. If you appreciate art, creativity and unique surroundings, this is definitely a lovely restaurant to visit while exploring Aix-en-Provence.

05/09/2026: It's always a pleasant experience to go to Empanadas. Felipe and his team are incredibly kind and welcoming, the place is charming, there's a great atmosphere with Latin music, and what can I say about the empanadas, desserts, and cocktails... mmm, a real treat, a taste of Argentina.

10/09/2026: We had an absolutely delicious dinner at Le Petit Verdot — among the highlights were a lovely lemon artichoke soup, a daube (Provençal stew) that was truly memorable, and a solid wine selection. This is a cozy bistro, everything made in house, the host / chef was kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

21/09/2026: We were a little disappointed this time. The amuse-bouche was bland, but my soft-boiled egg was delicious. The main course (we had the beef fillet) was very tender and cooked to perfection, but it lacked sauce (which was very good, by the way), especially since the tabbouleh-style side dish soaked it up. My dessert was excellent, while my partner's (plum emulsion/marmalade) was just average. The wine was very good. We'll be back anyway!

21/09/2026: Excellent menu and great value! Very welcoming service and the option to go into the kitchen to greet the chef. The dining room is refreshingly quiet and away from the crowds, making it ideal for a break during a day of sightseeing in Aix.

08/09/2026: A small and authentic local restaurant We took the 3-course menu and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty, fresh, local and authentic, with a lovely focus on seasonal ingredients. The zucchini flower was our absolute favorite — definitely something we would recommend trying! It’s a small restaurant with no tables on the terrace, so a reservation is highly recommended.

02/09/2026: We had the most wonderful evening here. The staff were so lovely and our waitress gave us an excellent red wine recommendation. The food was beautifully presented, simple flavours very well executed. The quality of the ingredients was also a standout, the pork main course that we had was just delicious. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend.

After several visits this year, I can assure you that we thoroughly enjoyed every meal, from the appetizers and main courses to the desserts and even the handcrafted digestifs! Fresh ingredients, food prepared with love and passion. Always a warm welcome and excellent service. Finally, a place where you can still find friendly French traditions. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed ☺️ And a definite bonus: the view of the airfield at sunset with the comings and goings of small planes and helicopters.

05/08/2026: As a connoisseur and avid fan of Korean cuisine, I was eager to try this place. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. The menu lacked variety, the dishes were truly bland (tasteless kimchi, under-seasoned dishes, etc.), and above all, the bill left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth—the prices are exorbitant! The staff was friendly, but it didn't change the overall impression. The place is cramped and long, with a constant flow of people ordering from screens, giving the feeling of eating in a fast-food restaurant at a train station.

13/06/2026: Disappointed! The food was good but not exceptional, and a bit pricey for what it was. The service left much to be desired; we felt like we were bothering them, right from the moment we made the reservation (I called to mention I'd have a dog, but it seemed to be a problem, for a vegan restaurant...). An ingredient was missing from our dishes, even though it was listed on the menu. When we asked for it, we received no apology. We even saw raised eyebrows when other tables asked. It's a shame, because the food alone could make us come back, but this service really spoiled the experience. I'm hesitant to leave a negative review for a vegetarian restaurant, but that doesn't excuse everything...

20/07/2026: Everything is great at La Brocherie! The affordable lunch menu, the all-you-can-eat salad bar, the meats cooked over a wood fire the old-fashioned way… and let's not forget the famous lavender crème brûlée, just wow! The interior has a strange feel for Aix-en-Provence, it doesn't really have that "southern" vibe, but personally, I love it.

05/08/2026: A real treat! Special mention for the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. The portions are very generous, especially the gourmet coffee. Friendly welcome and quick service. I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: Really enjoyed this place. It's in a lovely quiet spot by Cathedral Pasteur and perfect for watching people walk past and the world go by. I booked in advance and arrived at 7:30pm with a friend. We decided to sit outside and our drinks order was swiftly taken. They had a unique Italian soda I can't remember the name of but it was very nice. We decided to share the mixed charcuterie board for starters. When it arrived we were immediately taken aback by the portion sizes. It was huge! We had to leave a little because there was stilll mains to go, for which I had a Calzone and my friend a pizza. Niether of us were disappointed in the taste of quantity. I came away from this meal feeling very satisfied and wanting to visit again to try more of the menu. The service was great too, no complaints. I would recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic Italian meal.
