09/05/2026: Superb restaurant! We had a wonderful meal from appetizer to dessert, discovering healthy cuisine that was full of flavor and deliciousness. As a pescatarian, I was in heaven! The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere, as does the staff. I highly recommend it!

27/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! With a last-minute reservation, they found us a quiet little table for two. We followed the waiter's recommendations, both of which were very good: the full sushi set and the excellent curry ramen. Hot sake was also excellent upon request.

17/05/2026: The gyoza appetizers were crispy and flavorful, just the way we like them, and the Okonomiyaki instantly transported me back to Japan. Despite the dessert being fairly classic, it was a pleasure to find a little piece of Japan in France!

27/05/2026: My wife and I ate here on a recent trip to Aix en Provence and really loved it. The menu was interesting with lots of options, the atmosphere was fun and cool, and the staff and owners were great. The "worst" part about it was trying to decide what to order; it's definitely one of those places where you wish you could have a little bit of everything. The wine selection was also excellent. I flagged the owner down at one point to ask a question about local wines and he jumped right in to take care of us, letting us try a few wines before making our decision. I really appreciate it when an owner is so hands on with everything. Our French is terrible but everyone spoke great English. I'd recommend a reservation but they seated us without one. It's a great place to treat yourself after exploring the Luberon or hiking around Sainte-Baume. Highly highly recommended.

19/05/2026: Visited for my 50th birthday. This place is very Tim Burton - so cool. The cocktails and food were delicious, the staff were lovely. It's one of those tucked away places that I partly want to tell everyone to go to and partly want to keep the secret to myself! Also good to have some imaginative vegetarian options

07/04/2026: Found this nice little bar along one of the streets. A nice welcome by the staff and seated promptly. We came around 6 and the kitchen only opens at 6pm. Huge variety of drinks available. Prices are reasonable and comfortable seating area with nice chill vibes. Will return next time to try the food.

27/03/2026: The perfect place for an evening with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, you feel right at home! The staff is welcoming and attentive. My friend, who is gluten-free, even got gluten-free bread ;) Fantastic!

25/01/2026: Deceptive business practices and unjustified prices. Avoid at all costs: this establishment exploits the lack of competition to trap customers. It capitalizes on its proximity to the theater to charge exorbitant prices with complete impunity. The experience was surreal. With no non-alcoholic or sugar-free drinks available, we opted for an herbal tea. They then tried to charge us a €4 "hot drink surcharge after 5 pm"! We had to ask for the menu and check for ourselves to discover that the actual surcharge was €0.80. A billing "error" that is nothing short of a blatant rip-off. I sincerely feel for the waitress who seemed to be struggling, caught between high-pressure sales tactics and understandably exasperated customers. Don't be fooled by the location; walk a little further and spend your money at an honest restaurant.

24/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We went there after a show because it was the closest bar, and the evening turned into a disaster… Dry January being what it is, I ordered two non-alcoholic beers (priced at €6 each, no less!), but they were out of everything except one that wasn't cold. So we ended up ordering a crepe (€5) and an herbal tea (€4.20), and when it came time to pay, the waitress told me it was €13 and that there was a surcharge on hot drinks after 5 pm. Seriously, who does that, considering it's not a bar but a restaurant and they don't offer anything else without alcohol or sugar? We were a large group, everyone paid for their drinks, and at the end, the waitress told us that €39 was missing from the bill. We checked the whole bill again and realized they had added extra drinks. But they wouldn't listen, and we had to pay for their rip-off. And to top it all off, being honest, I checked the menu to see where the mistake might have been, and I saw that the surcharge for hot drinks was €0.80. I had to show them that I'd been charged €13 and that they'd charged me €8 for an herbal tea before they'd even bother to give me a refund. In short, this place is a disgrace, and these people should be punished for ripping off customers like this.

11/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. We had the stuffed squid, which was extremely well cooked and very well prepared. The staff is lovely.

11/05/2026: Le Bistroquet is located on a pleasant, quiet square in the city center. The owner gave us a warm welcome! We were comfortably seated on the terrace. The dishes are generous and excellent, high-quality and original. The service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

The duck, pear, and fig purses were exquisitely delicate, perfect for those who enjoy sweet and savory combinations... and the wine pairing was perfectly suited to the waiter's recommendation. A must-try in Aix-en-Provence!

28/05/2026: Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location is 5min walk from the train station, and 5min walk to the central area of Aix. It’s definitely located in a quiet area, but there’s a pharmacy, convenience store, and bakery right across the street. The pool was a nice touch for the hot days there.

27/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Ideally located just steps from the center of Aix-en-Provence. The restaurant is also very good.

05/05/2026: Lunch with friends. I recommend this place; we had a lovely time on the very pleasant terrace! The service is very attentive and friendly. However, I found it a bit expensive for a hot dog, especially since the one I ordered wasn't very full... the edges of the bun were empty.

18/04/2026: We went there for the first time to eat. The meal was good, but we sat on the terrace. We found it rather unclean: the seats were full of crumbs, the flower vases on the tables were dusty, and the parquet floor wasn't clean. It needs a bit more cleaning to make the place more pleasant. The first floor was much cleaner.
