21/09/2024: This restaurant was an unexpected delight - booked at the last moment on the premise of an interesting menu and the prospect of genuine French cuisine as opposed to a tourist trap. We got there early, at 7.15 and we're glad to have reserved since And the food and service lived up to the promise - super friendly staff, such fresh ingredients and generous portions! Had the burratina tart to start which was served on a tasty cake-like bed of bread. Followed by an amazing cod dish with a really flavoursome putanesca (tomato based) sauce. Very reasonably priced and a very relaxed atmosphere - like we were in a comfortable living room that happened to be a restaurant. Will definitely visit again when in Aix-en-Provence!

06/08/2024: I did not expect that ! Small lunch break between two meetings for my greatest happiness. I was tired of eating fast food all the time or coming across overpriced restaurants. What was my surprise when I decided to let myself be tempted by their dish of the day (to take away). €13 for the main course and dessert, incredible value for money. My taste buds savored a wonderful marbled veal liver accompanied by a simple homemade puree, followed by a delicious chocolate fondant. Amazing ! Thank you for still respecting homemade, thank you for this taste accuracy. I agree with the other comments: don't hesitate, go for it! 🤤

Regarding the prices, the quality-price ratio is unbeatable. I have already dined in more expensive restaurants with lower quality dishes and service that was not of this quality. I always have a great time with my family at this restaurant. Absolutely worth testing 👌🏽

31/08/2024: I invited my mother to this restaurant, the Opera. 130 euros for two. A crude starter on coarse salad. My mother couldn't finish her dish: the meat and eggplant "millefeuille" was just fat on top of fat. An equally disappointing dessert, which struggled to take on the appearance and taste of a pavlova. A waitress who is almost too familiar, and who we don't always understand very well. This restaurant does not at all meet the expectations of customers who pay more than 50 euros for the starter/main course/dessert menu. It's not a bistronomic restaurant, it's just a bistro. And I'm not talking about the presentation of the dishes, let's say, rather approximate. Rather comical background music: Latin remixes of French songs. It's a restaurant that's only chic in the decor. I strongly advise against it.

24/07/2024: Repas excellent. Des produits locaux très bien cuisinés avec beaucoup de goût et de très bon assaisonnement. Très bon service, au petit soin pour les clients, même si ... le français de la serveuse n'est pas encore top 😉

29/08/2024: We were expecting a traditional restaurant and in the end there was a brasserie side. We were very well received, we ate very well for cheap and the service was very pleasant. I recommend 👍

13/08/2024: Prenotato con The Fork. Cena pessima. Noi siamo un po' difficili ma così mai. Ordiniamo 2 corse burger: l'unico del menu che non aveva pomodoro e insalata e invece ci viene servito un burger con pomodoro e insalata e anche cipolle. Mia figlia ordina una pizza chiamata Mozza: chiedo che ingredienti ci sono e mi viene detto solo mozzarella e pomodoro. Perfetto. E invece c'erano anche le cipolle. Una volta fatto presente ci viene detto che tutti i burger sono serviti con insalata e pomodoro ( non scritto nel menù). Sulle cipolle nella pizza nessun commento pervenuto.

26/08/2024: Arrivés à 13h, plus de plats du jour! On prend donc une salade Italienne, très bonne et bien garnie pour 18 euros mais c est Aix.... Par contre le menu enfant, n est pas un menu enfant mais un plat à 14 euros avec 8 petits "carrés" de poulets et une vingtaine de frites (et je n exagére pas....) pas de boisson et dessert compris dans ce soi disant menu enfant C est un peu honteux et vraiment regrettable car pour 14 euros on peut avec un sirop à l eau et une boule de glace et quelques frites supplémentaires comme partout ailleurs..... Bonne note pour l accueil et le service.

24/08/2024: Un accueil juste merveilleux, chaleureux, douce ambiance comme on aime! Qualité des plats avec un tout fait maison , je recommande sans hésitation, le charme d’un lieu aixois 🤩

29/08/2024: Magnifique décoration, décor sobre et épuré, très bon accueil de la part de tout le personnel, carte un peu chère mais très bons produits. Nous avons testé les "pizzas" japonaises et nous nous sommes régalés car c'était une découverte. Les assiettes étaient copieuses et les produits frais. Les boissons étaient très légères et agréables. Le patron était sympathique. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Ce n'était ni la nourriture ni le serveur qui étaient très agréables, mais la trahison du patron, un menteur fini et qui ne respectait pas les règles du jeu de Thefork. Je m'explique vite fait, j'avais une réduction de 25,00€, il a refusé de l'appliquer. Sachant que j'étais dans mon droit, il m'a simplement accordé 20 % et n'a pas voulu que je paie avec l'application. Pourquoi a-t-il eu cette attitude ? Vous devriez vous en douter, pourquoi. Étant donné que je déteste les histoires, j'ai laissé tomber. Je vous donne un petit conseil à vous, les consommateurs consommatrices, à le suivre ou pas, téléphonez d'abord avant et bien vous assurer que le restaurateur assume les règles du jeu. It was neither the food nor the waiter that was very pleasant, but the betrayal of the boss, a complete liar who did not respect the rules of Thefork's game.
