15/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant through a private trip and frankly, we have no regrets; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Whether it was the cocktails or the meal, everything was excellent. The cuisine is refined, with beautifully presented dishes. The welcome was warm. The decor was lovely, with cloth tablecloths and napkins—we appreciated it as a welcome change from paper. The atmosphere was intimate, with soft background music that still allowed for conversation; everything was perfect. Don't change a thing; you're doing a fantastic job. We'll be back.

05/12/2025: A private party last night… what can I say? The setting, the welcome, and the delicious food were all there. From the amuse-bouche to dessert, we were in heaven. The singer and her pianist were sublime. We discovered panis! (We don't know it in Normandy!) We thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for your joie de vivre and good humor; the Normans should take note! 22/01/2026: A wonderful discovery in Aix-en-Provence. Authentic, generous, and homemade Italian cuisine, featuring fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. The pasta is excellent, the portions are generous, and the quality is consistently high. The vaulted cellar setting is warm, intimate, and charming, perfect for a dinner for two or with friends. The service is attentive, friendly, and very welcoming; you immediately feel at home. A genuine and delicious restaurant that I highly recommend: Chez Nine.

04/02/2026: I'm a regular customer because it's one of the few places that welcomes coworkers for free in a pleasant setting with good Wi-Fi. As a result, I always have at least one coffee and sometimes even stay for lunch. The food is good value for money and served quickly. Unfortunately, we've noticed a decline in the welcome: a new manager refuses to let coworkers use the seated tables in the morning, even after breakfast, which detracts significantly from the appeal of the place. The high tables and sofas don't offer the same level of comfort for working. We feel less welcome. I'm giving it 4 stars because I support the modern and inclusive Nomad concept: "café, lunch, coworking, afternoon snack, dinner."

06/03/2026: We came for lunch without a reservation and were seated immediately. Ordering was quick, but the food took a while to arrive (about 30 minutes), at least because the water and bread were brought out at the same time. We ordered the daily specials (€14), which were a bit bland (we had to ask twice for salt, which never arrived), and the sauce was too thin, as if it had been watered down. The fries were good. I admit I was stunned when dessert arrived; let's just say I wasn't expecting that. The staff was polite. I don't think I'll be back, but if you're in the area, it could be a good option if you don't know where to go.

14/02/2026: The service was outstanding, full of helpful advice, with the staff possessing an encyclopedic knowledge of every element on the dishes. The cuisine was delicious and generous, living up to all expectations! Thank you for this feast at an excellent price!

12/02/2026: I love coming to O Gustus. The food is refined and generous. The welcome is warm, the waiter makes you feel at ease and enthusiastically explains the menu. The risotto contained black truffle and was very reasonably priced 🙏. The chef is also passionate. Together, they make a great team and create a truly high-quality dining experience. We will be back.

26/02/2026: Why did the fishmongers refuse to serve me on Thursday, February 26th at 9pm? Completely unacceptable!

24/02/2026: Mussels marinière 1 ⭐️ not great at all. Empty, or perhaps already open (dead) before cooking, in a pan with a handful of raw celery and onion. We reported the problem to the waitress and the cashier too late, apparently, so no compensation was offered. Grilled gurnard dish of the day 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very good and well-cooked, generous portion. Desserts were decent. Mixed experience. A shame.

07/12/2025: Absolutely delicious calissons, melt-in-your-mouth candied fruits, beautiful like something out of a fairy tale 😊 (their candied melon is a work of art). The box of 13 Provençal desserts with the Sainte Victoire mountain on the lid is a marvel. A perfect gift for yourself, family, or friends. Bravo to all the teams who make this possible 🤩. 27/02/2026: Tucked away in a quiet little alley, this place lives up to its name: a quirky spot in Aix. An artistic, slightly bohemian atmosphere. Vintage furniture and tableware, unique decor… there’s a real soul here. The service is simple, attentive, and genuinely warm. Eric, the owner, is as dedicated to the quality of the food as he is to the quality of the experience. The wine list holds some delightful surprises: affordable yet curated by connoisseurs, with some real gems. The cocktails are the bartender’s own creations; we thoroughly enjoyed them. The dishes are fresh and flavorful, the vegetables perfectly cooked, and the desserts indulgent, just the way we like them. Even the tea and herbal infusion menu is worth exploring. In short, a restaurant that pays attention to detail without ever taking itself too seriously. A must-try if you appreciate unique, authentic places off the beaten tourist track. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: Fantastic, wonderful. We went on our first night in Aix last Friday and found a table without any problems. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same luck the next night, but we'll definitely be back in May. A must-visit for vegetarians and vegans everywhere. We had, without a doubt, the best leek tart ever, and a truly delicious veggie burger with potatoes. The creamy appetizer soup was also excellent. The guy who does a great job all by himself was really kind; despite this, the waits aren't too long. Really excellent prices.
