08/09/2024: Disastrous service, we ordered a starter and a main dish. The starter arrived, but apparently if you don't ask for the main dish to be brought to you you can wait there for hours without anyone asking you, we waited more than an hour and when we asked they told us that we had not told them if we were finished (when we had been more for an hour without eating) and the next dish was not yet made. The very rude waiter laughed in our face when we asked for the bill, and charged us 7 euros for a bottle of water. Very bad attention, don't go.

29/08/2024: A very nice place and very good quality of food. Very suitable quality, quantity and price. We left very happy, we will repeat!!!

06/07/2024: While looking for a small restaurant, we stumbled upon the tennis club by pushing a small door and headed towards the restaurant. Very good initiative, it was super good, plentiful and also in a nice, quiet setting. THANKS.

08/09/2024: The dishes (we tasted 3) are really not great, the Cesar salad much too acidic for example, the desserts without any taste, the waiter told us that they are homemade which was clearly not the case . To avoid.

27/08/2024: Hello Mr. The boss of the new Thalassa. I would like to know please if it is normal that your beautiful café restaurant closes at 1 a.m. during the posted times but that I am refused a table to have a drink (cocktail) at midnight sharp. If you do not close at 1 a.m. as indicated but it is instead midnight, you must modify the information. Also your server should say it's closing more politely. He was very dry for no reason. Is it because of my skin color? Given the look he gave me, I wonder. Have a good day and if I have an answer I will try my luck again one of these days. I'm almost a regular. It’s a shame because I like the place.

15/09/2024: a freezing atmosphere with a very long wait plus I went through the kitchens and I saw the cook cutting the board placing it on the trash can or the chef sweating on the pizzas urgently that hygiene measures be taken

09/09/2024: I find their pizzas excellent. They have flavor, the dough is neither too soft nor too thin nor too heavy, really nothing to say in that regard. They are delivered still very warm and that is very appreciable. The owner is always in a very good mood and I admit I prefer to get pizza from friendly shopkeepers and that is the case. I recommend without problem and without hesitation. 👍👍👍

26/08/2024: A shameful welcome like I have never received. We passed by the pizzeria last night with my wife, we enter and say hello but the lady in the pizzeria behind the counter doesn't answer us just gives us a look as if we had disturbed her so we wait respectfully... She continues to live life as if we were ghosts. I keep calm being with my pregnant wife standing with her face to the counter like green plants and there 5 minutes later, 5 real minutes, we really didn't know where to stand, it's the pizza maker who comes out from behind to tell us hello sorry we are taking no more orders is closed. So I say okay thank you goodbye and the woman doesn't say sorry or even goodbye I've never seen that we felt like less than nothing it's sure that an evening with a football match 'OM we are more than a pizza away we have made the figure but the reception does everything pizzerias there are every 500 m especially in St Jérôme so know that by your total lack of respect you have lost quite a bit of customers believe me, we and the whole family ordered delivery from you and well it's over... really it's the first time in my life that I feel like a nobody like that... It's so complicated to respond to our hello sorry ladies and gentlemen we are closed? It really is amazing...

18/09/2024: We flew all the way from LONDON to spend the night & have dinner which we had reserved to celebrate both my 60th b’day and our 30th wedding anniversary. We had reserved for last sitting at 9.30 pm and ordered our menu as soon as we booked. In LONDON we knew there was a slight delay so we called saying we will be late by 15 minutes & they confirmed that’s ok. We then called from Marseille airport twice and they reassured us that as long as we were there 10 to 22.00 pm we would be ok. We got in at 9.47 pm but to our astonishment both the woman at the reception refused to seat us. We explained we had called them 3 times & we had booked to stay the night just for the restaurant & one of them blatantly said ‘I am the restaurant & I will not even ask in the kitchen if they will serve you’.. Simply rude & disrespectful. We would not have called 3 times if we hadn’t been told each time that we would be seated. It was horrible to be treated with such disdain !! Then in the bistro we were served one of the worst squid dish ever… we could not chew on it.. VERY DISAPPOINTING experience.

11/09/2024: La bouillabaisse revisitée de M. PASSEDAT est un régal autant visuel que pour les papilles, un vrai festival de saveurs et tout cela dans un cadre merveilleux. Pour autant nous avons constaté quelques bémols concernant le service servi bien trop précipitamment qu'il à fallu ralentir, un personnel terne, triste, sans interaction avec la clientèle sans parler de leur tenue vieillotte, usée limite propre non digne du standing d'un restaurant 3 étoiles et enfin l'état du plafond de la salle de restaurant qui a du subir un dégât des eaux et qui en résulte de grosses auréoles jaunâtres ce qui laisse à désirer dans un lieu comme celui-ci. Nous déplorons aussi que M. PASSEDAT ne se présente pas alors qu'il était présent dans l'établissement.

05/09/2024: I had a vegetarian menu, it was absolutely excellent and very plentiful. The dessert was also really great. The server was very friendly and attentive.

29/08/2024: Not really warm welcome, the pizza was edible, not very bad but not good either, the dough was a little doughy and didn't rise well, I didn't really like it and I don't recommend it

19/08/2024: I really do not care how good the pizzas are or how old the place is, if your customer cannot pay by bank card in 2024 you are wrong. its time to start paying taxes.

14/09/2024: The mistral made us change our habits (sorry Shamrock 🫣) and it did us a lot of good! We didn't plan to eat there at first but simply have a pint but Friday evening...mistral...it's packed!. We are told that it is possible to return but that there is only a table of 2 left to eat... come on... we will stay and eat. What a discovery! Not only is the selection of taps incredible but the dishes were just as incredible. Simple but hearty dishes. 🥰 And the pompom on the Garonne 😅: the incredible service! We thank Simon who was truly incredible: efficient, kind, funny... In short, thank you Simon! (Perhaps we will see each other one day in Lille 😉). Looking forward to coming back very soon. 12/09/2024: The Queen Victoria in the heart of the Vieux Port, Marseille, is a delightful gem of English charm amidst the vibrant French surroundings. My recent visit was fantastic from start to finish. The warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, with attentive and friendly service that set the perfect tone for our meal. We ordered a croque madame and a croque monsieur with chips, and both were simply amazing! The sandwiches were perfectly prepared, with crispy bread, rich cheese, and beautifully cooked eggs. The chips were golden and crunchy, adding the perfect side to an already outstanding meal. The drinks were just as impressive. The beer was cold and fresh, and the wine was full of flavor – not watered down like you often experience in other places. It was evident they take pride in offering quality beverages to complement the food. Overall, the Queen Victoria offers a cozy, authentic English pub atmosphere with a touch of French flair. Whether you're after a quick bite or a place to relax with a pint, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Marseille! Five stars, without a doubt.
