The dishes are very well presented, and the service is top notch, too bad we don't stay in the area long otherwise we would have come back and as far as the price is concerned it's top notch, it's very inexpensive☺️

18/08/2023: Be careful, this restaurant puts glutamate in all dishes! So there is a big risk of getting sick. I took a medium tray of sautéed vegetables to take away and right after paying, I asked (out of conscience) if they put glutamate in their dishes and I was told yes. I then said that I was glutamate intolerant and asked if it was possible to return the tray and be refunded. I hadn't left the counter yet, they had just filled my take-out container, so it was entirely possible to get the vegetables again. But despite my health problem, they preferred to play stingy for €13! Generally glutamate is only used by Asian restaurants because it is a chemical that acts as a flavor enhancer. And yes, it is used in sauce dishes to add flavor where there is little and at lower cost. On the other hand, in this Mi-Am restaurant, it is used in all dishes even in sautéed vegetables and spring rolls according to the staff's own words. The problem of monosodium glutamate in dishes is known as "Chinese restaurant syndrome." People sensitive to glutamate end up with symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, asthma, rash, etc. It varies depending on the person. Many people are sensitive to glutamate without knowing it. I myself found out very late.

26/05/2024: Despite the goodwill of the young people at the service, the quality/price ratio is very unbalanced. A plate of asparagus with a summary presentation and no visual or taste interest. A less than warm sea bass fillet and more than approximate cooking. All accompanied by an ordinary porquerolle rosé for an addition of…….140€ for 2! Now it's up to you to form your opinion.

12/09/2024: Great gem of a find in a tucked away pocket of Marseille. You may have no other reason to visit this part of town but Abaco alone was worth it! We spoke to the chef who checked in with us multiple times as he and his mother looked after us for a lunch. And the bouillabaisse is worth it, and a great price compared to larger institutions!

24/08/2024: Real Marseille bouillabaisse. For once it’s authentic! Fresh and very well prepared fish. Managed by very friendly people from Marseille. Don't hesitate, it's a change from tourist traps...

03/09/2024: We had an excellent time from start to finish in this restaurant in front of the Mazargue church. The staff was very nice, offering to change tables because it was going to be in the sun, they brought us a parasol for the sun as well, they brought us tapenade just after taking our orders, we didn't We never had to ask for water and the 2 waitresses present were very friendly and smiling. Concerning the dishes it was also excellent, the portions were generous, the dishes very good and even the presentation was very neat (see photos). Everything was served quickly, we didn't wait long even though the majority of tables were taken. We were delighted to eat at this restaurant which I highly recommend.

09/12/2024: Estábamos buscando auténtico bouillabaisse y leímos muchas críticas antes de ir. Nuestra experiencia fue excelente, la comida, pulpo a La ensalada seguida de la bouillabaisse fue todo excelente. Estábamos nerviosos por el servicio de otros comentarios, pero nos sorprendió lo agradable que era todo el mundo y la calidad del servicio, que era excelente. Maddie ayudó a servirnos a nosotros y a todos los demás en el restaurante y claramente quería complacer a todos. Visitamos noviembre, no la temporada alta, así que son muy lentos. Está justo en el puerto, en una zona tranquila, lejos de los restaurantes más turísticos. .

21/11/2023: j’ai commandé à emporter depuis le site et en arrivant je me suis rendu compte que je n’avais pas enlevé le jambon sur ma pizza… (pizza que j’avais préalablement payer en espèces et ils ne m’ont pas rendu la monnaie sous prétexte qu’ils en avaient pas💀) suite à cette erreur la responsable m’a dit qu’elle ne pouvait rien faire et que le fait que je paye une pizza dans le vide n’est je cite « pas son problème » résultat je suis parti sans rien RESPONSABLE TRÈS HAUTAINE !!!! à bannir
