02/08/2025: We had a good stay. Nothing exceptional, but the hotel is clean, quiet, friendly, and well located in a beautiful setting. The breakfast is very good and very well organized. The hotel is located in a small village with one or two nice little bars/restaurants, and a good bakery. I would definitely return there on my next visit to the area.

25/10/2025: Today, Saturday, it was hard to find a restaurant in Mauriac... And we arrived at this crêperie. Pleasant little room, lots of people. Quite disappointed by the minimal selection for this Saturday... So, 2 scallop crêpes. The crêpe was cold at the bottom of the plate, and the filling on top was good, but lukewarm!!! A pitcher of good cider... A crêpe with sugar that I was hoping would be hot... Alas, lukewarm.....and a coffee. The lady who served us was friendly and kind... But alone....1 hour and 45 minutes... that's a lot 🫢

09/07/2025: Refusing to fill cyclists' water bottles in the blazing sun, on the pretext that it might empty the spring, a pretty mediocre excuse. You're asked to go to public restrooms where the water isn't drinkable... Disgusting.

07/07/2025: Arrived 2 hours before closing time on Sunday: no way to sit in the dining room with the panoramic views, because the waiter, and I quote, "is trying to kick everyone out to clean it up"... Perhaps there's another way of putting things? 😅 I ask the waitress (most likely new, so I won't hold it against her for the rest of it, I've been there before) for a coffee and a waffle. No bowl, no waffle, so a crepe! Everything was served very quickly, but, very strangely, they asked for my money directly. Two mistakes in the change later, I finished my 4-hour break and left with a bad feeling, which was a shame.

12/11/2025: Very well located near the city center. Great welcome. With elevator. Spacious room. Reasonable prices. I'll be back.

15/10/2025: Very nice, quiet hotel in the center of Aurillac, bordered by excellent restaurants. Easy to park thanks to the underground parking lot of the Square 50m from the hotel. But I especially want to highlight the professional qualities of Jeanne, the hostess, very kind and smiling, who informed me perfectly. I will come back without hesitation.

12/12/2025: My opinion is very mixed because I thought it must be good, but when at 1 p.m. on a Thursday, alone, I'm told that everything is sold out for today, and they don't offer me anything at all 🤔🤔

19/09/2025: An excellent roadside restaurant! The dishes are very good, plentiful, and generous, perfect for a good home-style meal. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, which makes your break even more enjoyable. A place to remember and recommend without hesitation!

08/12/2024: Excellent service, very attentive and friendly. The Sunday menu has a starter, main course and dessert with a choice of fish or meat. Very tasty dishes prepared with care and carefully served, not only a pleasure for the tongue but also for the eye. We had heard that the food was good and were still pleasantly surprised. Excellent price-quality ratio!

24/01/2026: Keep walking, only stop if you're absolutely starving. We chose a €28 set menu and a €38 one. Two small verrines were offered, without any explanation of what they were. The waitress politely placed them on the menu without any explanation. They weren't bad. The "local charcuterie" platter was an insult to the people of Cantal! Three slices of sausage, two thin slices of tasteless ham, a tiny piece of fricandeau, and a piece of head cheese with a gherkin! In the land of charcuterie, it's unacceptable to offer this at that price! And what about the minuscule flank steak and its accompanying aligot... the flank steak was practically inedible, so tough. We ordered it medium-rare, and it arrived bloody for both of us. My partner couldn't even finish it, it was so tough. We mentioned it to the waitress... no response... The aligot was absolutely tasteless; I've never eaten such a bland dish, and it was served in a tiny pan! We couldn't even finish it, it was so tasteless. Only the dessert and the prawns were acceptable. It's simply unthinkable that they can offer such dishes for €28 and €38. It's a rip-off. Never again! I paid the bill, but I'm still furious! Once again, avoid this place...

13/11/2025: Having been to the area regularly, I had never been to this restaurant. What a mistake not to have gone sooner! The food is perfect: flavorful, indulgent, and just right. The lemon sole with its mashed potatoes... to die for! The same goes for the service: discreet, quick, and efficient. And finally, the prices are more than reasonable! A flawless experience.
