27/11/2025: Passing through this excellent restaurant, like many truckers on a weeknight, I received a very pleasant welcome. The dining room was beautifully decorated and had great sound. I enjoyed my meal very much, the restrooms were clean, and there was a small car park. It's a shame that trucks have to park downstairs. I will return.

21/04/2026: This review is not about the location itself, but rather about our mixed feelings regarding the handling of unforeseen circumstances and cancellations. We would have loved to experience this establishment, but an unforeseen setback on our journey unfortunately prevented us from reaching our destination. During the booking process, a computer glitch prevented us from paying by credit card, so we paid by bank transfer at the time of booking. Therefore, we didn't have credit card insurance, and in the rush, we paid without purchasing the additional cancellation insurance offered on the website... (unusual for us, as we normally use credit card insurance). We understand that the cancellation was made on the day of our arrival, and we apologize, but these were indeed exceptional circumstances. We would have appreciated a gesture of goodwill to postpone our stay, or a partial refund. This is regrettable from a business perspective, and unfortunately, it doesn't make us want to visit this establishment again in the future. This doesn't detract from the kindness and courtesy of our email exchanges, but it's simply a business approach that could perhaps be improved in the future with more understanding of exceptional situations. 06/04/2026: A quick review to describe our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, the surrounding landscape is magnificent and soothingly peaceful. We highly recommend it if you're looking for a break from your daily routine! Special mention goes to Laurence and Daniel, who take excellent care of their guests. The restaurant is a must-try if you'd like to discover original dishes made with fresh, local ingredients!

The staff is very approachable... Pure bliss... Thank you. The resort is located in a magical spot between the lake and the mountains. Beautiful walks with the dogs. Warm welcome. Very comfortable chalet. The breakfasts, served with a view of the lake, were much appreciated. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back this summer to explore this beautiful region of Cantal even more. The location is ideal, close to Aurillac and the villages worth discovering: Salers, Tournemire, Vic-sur-Cère... We left with regret after a stay of several days... 23/01/2026: Good restaurant, pleasant staff, good value for money. The beef was very tender. I recommend it.

20/12/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant; the wait was extremely long. Customers who arrived after us and ordered the same dishes were served before us. The duck confit was served with tasteless mashed potatoes, and there was no salad on my plate, while the customers next to me who ordered the same dish received salad. My partner ordered a piece of beef served with fries—you shouldn't be hungry, as the portion was very small. They did, however, offer me coffee as an apology for the wait.
