07/05/2026: A little corner of paradise tucked away in the Cantal region. Very peaceful, with very pleasant staff. Ideal for a stopover in a rural setting.

07/05/2026: The hotel is nice, and the room was lovely too, but the service was lacking. The TV reception was terrible, unwatchable (perhaps due to the rain). Breakfast offered little choice and wasn't replenished; the quality was far inferior to any chain hotel. The restaurant, like breakfast, was expensive and didn't reflect the quality.

04/05/2026: Fantastic...even arriving a bit late on a Saturday night...superb, beautifully presented, and generous portions. Only one small drawback...the decor...the pots with plastic roses on the table.

11/04/2026: Very disappointed. We came for the homemade fries, but there was only one menu item, and the portions were very small! We couldn't even get a little more mashed potato… And the waitresses were overwhelmed! They were running around everywhere, it was chaotic, and there was a complete lack of organization. While the brunette waitress made an effort, the younger one was very unpleasant. And of course, once we arrived, there was no choice left. Perhaps we just had bad luck, but it really showed 😣

16/04/2026: A beautiful, sunny, and very mild Easter Tuesday morning allowed us to enjoy the uncrowded town of Salers. Around noon, a terrace caught our eye, as many tables were occupied, especially outside given the temperature. Perhaps an opportunity for a good lunch? And so it was, and a pleasant surprise indeed. The menus were interesting, and the à la carte options reflected this, featuring regional products and cuisine that truly represented local culinary traditions. The terrace itself was a delightful spot, overlooking the rich architecture of Salers, a magnificent and unmissable village. The prices were very reasonable. A lovely time.

26/10/2025: Superb meal with a chef of Alsatian origins...so the meal could only be delicious. We recommend it without moderation.

19/09/2025: The couple who welcomed us were very friendly, the food was good and we were well received.

10/12/2025: Parcel service: As usual, the owner greeted us with a smile and kindness. Despite the mountain of parcels, she quickly found the right one; all you needed was the QR code or at least your ID. Furthermore, the opening hours are quite generous for collecting your parcels.

09/12/2025: Appalling service for package collection. No politeness whatsoever, no hello or goodbye. You should stop this service if it's beyond your capabilities!

09/07/2025: Refusing to fill cyclists' water bottles in the blazing sun, on the pretext that it might empty the spring, a pretty mediocre excuse. You're asked to go to public restrooms where the water isn't drinkable... Disgusting.

07/07/2025: Arrived 2 hours before closing time on Sunday: no way to sit in the dining room with the panoramic views, because the waiter, and I quote, "is trying to kick everyone out to clean it up"... Perhaps there's another way of putting things? 😅 I ask the waitress (most likely new, so I won't hold it against her for the rest of it, I've been there before) for a coffee and a waffle. No bowl, no waffle, so a crepe! Everything was served very quickly, but, very strangely, they asked for my money directly. Two mistakes in the change later, I finished my 4-hour break and left with a bad feeling, which was a shame.

18/01/2026: Honestly, I'm very disappointed, and I'm not lying. Less than a month ago, a lost item was stored there due to lack of time. I went there during their vacation, and I went there again today. They threw away the riding helmet—how nice of them! I didn't respond to the ad because they sent it to me, so there you have it.
