29/11/2025: There were two of us eating. I got yelled at because the restaurant looked like a kebab shop. I insisted on eating there (well, not much) and we thoroughly enjoyed it; the fries were homemade. We'll definitely be back this time. Conclusion: I didn't get yelled at, thank you! (And what's more, I finally managed to seal the deal, which wasn't a sure thing...)

22/02/2026: Rather disappointed. On the plus side, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. But from the start, it was a bad experience. The website states that the restaurant opens at 7:15 pm, but it actually opens at 7:30 pm. There were three couples and a family waiting outside. The service was also odd; the first person to order wasn't served. As for the food, it was very good, comparable to what you can find elsewhere for a bit less in Bourges, but the portions were small. The side dishes, for example, were tiny—quinoa, which isn't that expensive! I left feeling a bit hungry after a three-course meal.

23/02/2026: Having left the infamous Brasserie du Piton (located just a few meters away), where we received a particularly poor welcome, we tried our luck at this small, crowded café (whereas at their competitor, there was no problem, plenty of space, and for good reason...). The atmosphere is warm, the owner is smiling and friendly (with a sense of humor... as a bonus), and the prices are quite reasonable. No wonder it's so busy! The decision is made: we'll be back for dinner! I recommend it.

09/07/2025: Cold pasta, standard pizza with raw toppings. Served 10 minutes after order placed. No time for an aperitif. Tipping was practically mandatory when paying.

14/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. Very rustic, just the way we like it. The service is perfect and the wait time is ideal. It's not our first time here and we've never been disappointed. Furthermore, the waitresses are incredibly kind and the welcome is so warm. We will come back again and again and we recommend it 10,000%! 22/12/2025: What a surprise! I discovered this restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was perfect: the setting, the welcome, the meal, the desserts. The dishes were refined and flavorful; you can taste the love for French cuisine. This restaurant has nothing to envy from the prestigious chefs of top restaurants. It's one of the five best restaurants I've visited in the last 23 years, and it's wonderful to see that in our beautiful France, there are still excellent chefs offering more than reasonable prices. Congratulations!

05/11/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us, and it was a wonderful evening and an excellent meal. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. We chose the six-course tasting menu... it was VERY generous! Several surprises were interspersed between courses, with very sophisticated and innovative flavor combinations. The chef was incredibly attentive! I highly recommend it.

11/02/2026: We've stopped at the Hotel St. Joseph several times. For a coffee, a meal, and sometimes even overnight. Everything is perfect. The rooms are welcoming and clean, with excellent bedding. Delicious meals and, above all, a lovely and attentive staff! We arrived very late last night, and they were waiting for us with a smile, allowing us to dine in peace and quiet! Thank you! 12/01/2026: Hello! My first experience at this wonderful restaurant. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff was very welcoming, the food excellent, the hanger steak skewer was amazing with the chef's personal touch, and the portions were very generous. The waitress was very pleasant, as were the owner and his wife. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

18/02/2026: I return every year to this magical castle for the pleasure of admiring its beautiful gardens, its sumptuous architecture that has evolved so beautifully over the centuries, and its stones reflected in the water. I had the pleasure of spending a few days there on my honeymoon 15 years ago. My husband worked as a guide there during his university holidays when he was younger. We will always return.

06/11/2025: A good visit and a very beautiful castle. The guided tour was very interesting, but we missed visiting some more rooms, to complete the visit. A clarification: On the internet the price of the visit is €6. I think they should change it, so as not to confuse the visitor. They charged us €10 per person. I personally think that these visits could be more complete. I see it as essential that the owners raise money to maintain and improve a heritage that without our contribution would be difficult to do. Thank you for the welcome and the explanations

28/02/2026: I came across a promising sign late Friday afternoon. We decided to make a detour to visit the shop first... But we ended up turning back on a track riddled with huge ruts: impassable. What a shame! Perhaps there's another way?
