28/02/2026: Catastrophic from start to finish. The waitress was kicked out, left, and came back empty-handed—the one with glasses and gray hair. A couple on a "date" were telling their life stories; they claimed to have seen and done everything. They ruined our evening, them and the woman with glasses and gray hair. The couple, supposedly on a date, were talking about load-bearing walls and politics—a topic best left unaddressed. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but in any case, I definitely do not recommend this place. Definitely not for families if you want to have a good evening.

17/02/2026: A perfect stay at this recently reopened inn! The rooms have a private entrance, which provides real comfort and a sense of privacy. The decor is tasteful, elegant, and welcoming, with high-quality bedding. You sleep very peacefully. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the new owners are committed to offering a professional and modern service while preserving the charm of the place. The breakfast is generous, with excellent products, and the overall atmosphere of the inn makes you want to extend your stay. A wonderful place to stay in Moncontour, ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer break. We will definitely be back!

23/09/2025: Excellent food, seafood sauerkraut, unusual but delicious, shrimp and six different types of fish (two of the smoked fish were even a bit too salty for my taste, hence the one-star deduction) served on creamy sauerkraut. The service was quick and attentive, and the view of the bay was magnificent! A great location! Reservations are necessary during peak season, as the restaurant isn't very large.

23/10/2025: A safe bet for beer, wine, and oysters? Where else can you find Eddas? I'm a little sad that they're no longer serving Guinness. But Breton beer in Brittany is a good choice anyway. A shop that you can make a stopover, and many do. They're all located outside under the marquise. The fact that the shop is right on the harbor isn't even the attraction. The fact that you can order prawns as a snack is, of course.
