08/05/2026: I stopped by this afternoon for a snack. I was served by a lovely young woman who gave me excellent advice with a very pleasant smile. I'll be back!

01/07/2026: The food is good and the service is warm and friendly. The servers were smiling and attentive. However, one thing bothered me a little. We ordered two dishes, one of which had sauce. Only one small piece of bread was served, not enough for my dish which was already full of sauce. So I ordered more. Seeing the server take note of my comment, I wondered if the bread was being charged, but since there was nothing indicated on the menu and the server didn't mention it, I wasn't too worried. Imagine my surprise to find that the fries are unlimited but not the bread! For a restaurant that boasts about its sauce, I must admit I'm astonished... And let's not even mention the herbal teas at almost €5, knowing that the water comes from the tap, but I know there are overhead costs, so I'd rather not get into a debate about that. I still recommend it; the food is good. Just so you know, they charge for bread and you'll be informed of this either through Google reviews or your bill at the end of the meal.

25/06/2026: Passing through Montélimar, we stopped to eat but were very disappointed this time. There was a real lack of smiles, the welcome was cold, and when we asked for more bread, we were surprised to be charged 0.25 cents for a small piece – a real shame this wasn't mentioned on the main menu. In short, we'll think twice before going back next time.

13/05/2026: We insisted on two ravioli gratins and received two ravioli pizzas instead, not even a gesture of goodwill, very disappointed!

16/03/2026: First order placed yesterday, everything was perfect, from the welcome to the tasting. They are very good.

07/03/2026: This restaurant is Italian in name only. The decor is questionable, the staff unfriendly, and the food is extremely poor. The lasagna was swimming in cream (which is definitely not Italian) to the point of being inedible, and the side salad arrived without dressing. It was impossible to even get a vegetarian pizza "without mushrooms," clearly due to pre-prepared frozen ingredients. For a high price, the quality and service are unacceptable. A very disappointing experience—avoid it.

22/06/2026: Well located but not very well signposted once you leave the highway. Clean McDonald's, fast service. We appreciated this stop between the Rhône Valley and the Alps.

10/06/2026: I strongly advise against going there. We were the only ones there, along with a few drive-thrus, and we waited ages for one salad wrap with two measly nuggets inside, two small burgers (half of which were spilling out), and cold fries. The staff spent more time chatting amongst themselves and eating than actually serving orders. Very expensive for what you get; we received more napkins than fries. In short, avoid this place.

26/05/2026: Bored employees prepare coffee and food. Unenthusiastic, annoyed, with no joy in life. If you don't like people, you shouldn't work with them!

21/05/2026: Getting worse and worse, the hamburgers are barely cooked, the fish is much too noisy, and the service isn't great. It's a shame because it used to be good.

05/05/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Auberge du Désert during our cycling trip. We had planned to stay at the municipal campsite, but after getting soaked all day in the rain, we preferred to take shelter in the dry. It was incredibly warm and welcoming, with a lovely fireplace and a very intimate atmosphere. The setting is truly charming, with the old-world charm beautifully renovated in the dining room, complete with its original fireplace. The food is excellent, with a small but delicious homemade menu. The rooms are comfortable, and the entire team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

01/05/2026: Disastrous management and contempt for the customer: avoid at all costs! As a cyclist on a tour, I had received a dinner confirmation. On the day itself, the hotel canceled and offered me an alternative 16 km away. Unable to make it, they offered me a plate of small pasta shells for €18. The manager justified this price by saying he had to call back an employee from vacation and that I had to, and I quote, pay his "social security contributions" (€16 for labor for a plate of pasta that the employee had brought from home!). This is absurd management where the customer pays for the boss's organizational errors. The room was mediocre with a strong musty smell (I was contemptuously told to open the window in response to my complaint). The cleaning was sloppy, and I found personal belongings of previous occupants in the closets. In response to my complaint sent by email (the employee on duty was lovely, and I didn't want to burden her with my remarks, which were more about the manager), the manager was arrogant and dishonest, believing that because I had chosen "the lowest rate" (still €83/night, mind you), I should just accept what I was given. In short: absolutely no sense of hospitality. If you're a cyclist or simply looking for a clean and honest place, look elsewhere. An establishment that passes the cost of its staffing problems on to its customers doesn't deserve to be in business.

28/05/2026: Today, Thursday, May 28th, the welcome was appalling. A young man in a cap was yawning and coughing, not a smile. The older gentleman was much better, and in the end, I paid €12 for a tiny salad 😂. In short, the star is for the air conditioning.

03/05/2026: Sunday, May 3rd, early afternoon: an elderly woman is making a mockery of everyone with her meager and poorly made sandwich. I'm a regular customer of the Subway in Pierrelatte/Bollène and I've never had this problem before. I won't be going back. This woman is taking advantage of people; we pay €9.50 for a poorly filled and badly made sandwich. It's a disgrace. I prefer to get a sandwich from a bakery now when I'm passing through Montélimar. This is the second time she's done something so ridiculous.

19/12/2025: Very disappointed for the price. It has no taste, it's bland, not good. I placed my order and the cashier on the phone ignored me. The toilets were dirty, nothing was right... avoid at all costs.

04/12/2025: First time, very disappointed. I won't be going back. Cheap for what it is, late delivery, arrived cold and it wasn't good, avoid the cheddar sauce. McDonald's is much better.

25/04/2026: Passing through Valence, I happened to stop at this bakery for lunch. And I'm so glad I did! I found high-quality products and excellent service. Stopping at Le Fournil des Couleures is like stepping into the sunshine! Thank you to the whole team, thank you for your kindness and warm welcome. A place not to be missed.

14/05/2026: Arrived at 12:55 and no more bread!!!! So I had to leave without a starter or main course!!! Especially since there's bread at the U supermarket right next door. I say bravo...😠

14/05/2026: The man told us he'd clean it tomorrow, but with only 30 minutes until service, it's impossible to clean. It's filthy, but nobody seems to mind. We didn't come to eat and we won't be coming back.

30/06/2026: The only restaurant within 20km of La Ronde, we called ahead to make sure it was open. It was already 8 pm and we were able to eat without any problem. The waitress was very welcoming. The prices were reasonable. We will gladly return. Ngon lam 🙂🥢

09/06/2026: Very good restaurant. I like Asian cuisine and I wasn't disappointed.
