09/08/2026: I've eaten at this place several times and have never been disappointed. I've searched all over town, and it's undoubtedly the best pizzeria. As for those old comments saying "Emmental instead of mozzarella," "overcooked pizza," and so on, please understand that we're in the south, and this is how we eat all our pizzas. If you're not happy, just go to Naples.

12/08/2026: Poor value for money. Considering the profit margins of almost 70% in pizzerias, it's really wrong to offer pizzas like these. There's a lack of skill... A short internship in Italy is definitely needed.

11/11/2025: Bonjour je venu manger samedi et je me apercoi des rats petits qui promene dans le restaurants moi je avait de entraint de manger moi et les perssonnes ont a vu cest pas higienique meme cest pas la cuisine portugaise ont servi de morue avec de pomme de terre sans huile de olive e vinaigre cest etait des perssonnes francais qui mange ne connaissent pas que morue e pomme de terre doivenet voire de huile de olive mais cest avec moustsrd que ont a mouille le morue etc cest pas um restaurant portugais ..je ne viendrais jamais et comme portugais je ne recomemde pour la higiene les rats et surtout dire est un restaurant Portugal que il ny a rien je ne recommend

17/08/2026: The place is beautiful, very clean, tastefully decorated, and the restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was truly marred by a welcome that was completely subpar for the establishment. Upon arrival, my husband spontaneously helped for several minutes to close the parasols, which were threatening to blow away in the wind. The person present, who seemed to be in charge of the hotel, didn't even thank us. We immediately had the unpleasant feeling of being a nuisance rather than being welcomed. The pool was initially closed due to the wind, which we completely understood. We were then politely informed that we could finally use it after the leaves had been cleared away. However, the cushions on the sun loungers had already been removed, and even though the wind had died down, no one came to replace them or offered to do so. It's a real shame because the setting is superb and the food very good, but in a hotel of this caliber, one also expects attention, warmth, and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed. Unfortunately, that's what we missed most during our stay.

22/07/2026: We cannot detract from our stay solely because of the hotel's roadside location, which was undoubtedly the only negative point of our trip. The rooms were very nice, the hotel and restaurant are magnificent, and the terrace is exceptional. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet and the bistro-style restaurant several times, each time with equal pleasure. The staff was charming and contributed to the success of our stay. Despite an unfortunate unforeseen event that forced us to leave, we have very fond memories of our stay. Thank you very much.

29/04/2026: Ideally located opposite the train station, the rooms are basic but clean. The bathrooms in the single rooms are tiny. The common areas are decorated in an old-fashioned style. The reception and staff are excellent. The breakfast room and restaurant are very nice. Breakfast is okay.

21/08/2026: Authentic, homemade French cuisine, excellent value for money. Bonus: very pleasant service with lovely background music.

14/06/2026: Very disappointed with the menu options; many items were out of stock. The advertised guinea fowl supreme was served to one person at the table, but the leg was practically raw. There was no choice of ice cream flavors. A shame, I won't be back.

24/07/2026: What a delightful surprise! During our stay in the area, we dined here on the cozy terrace and enjoyed it immensely. The menu offers a lovely mix of Thai dishes and other Asian influences, ensuring there is something delicious for everyone to choose from. Every single dish was freshly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and beautifully presented. We received generous, varied portions, allowing us to taste different flavors and ingredients. Everything was prepared with great care. What made this evening extra special was the warm welcome. The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable, ensuring you feel welcome immediately. The combination of delicious food, a relaxed terrace, and warm service made this one of the nicest restaurant experiences of our vacation. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

21/09/2026: Back to Belgium after decades in the US. We have known quite a few MC D's. Knokke is without a doubt the dirtiest and most unkempt franchise. The terrace is filthy, cigarette butts, dirty tables and benches. Hardly any better inside. Toilets... hmm, certainly not up to standard. A black mark on the reputation of Knokke-Heist!!

02/08/2026: There's a lack of friendliness. The tattooed lady was very nice. However, the gentleman didn't say hello or goodbye. The two young guys making the crepes were very nice. Hang in there. Wait time for 2 crepes: 30 minutes

25/07/2026: Well, what can I say except that I didn't enjoy my fish dish. The setting is nice, and while the welcome wasn't exactly warm, it was polite and professional. It definitely feels like a restaurant for regulars, and if you're not one, the treatment isn't the same. Back to the dish, and to be fair, I only ate that; I didn't try anything else, so it doesn't reflect the quality of the other dishes. The white fish was tough, even rubbery, and the salmon—I don't know what it was marinated in, but it wasn't a success. Fortunately, the bed of potatoes and the curry sauce were very good. The prawns and mussels were insignificant; they were just a garnish, as there were so few of them. At €26, I found it expensive. So, this is just my opinion, and you should try it for yourselves, but personally, I won't be going back.

09/06/2026: Dinner on the terrace in the evening. A warm welcome and a varied menu, but definitely not a menu. The restaurant is located on a square with little car traffic. Very welcoming and excellent quality food.

06/08/2026: This Thursday, August 6th, Family 2026... Family of 4. We're in the waiting area opposite the counter. 7 minutes standing... The two waitresses keep walking past us, their faces blank, not a glance, not a hello, not a "please wait." As if we were invisible... despite our slightly darker skin tone... it's just an unfortunate coincidence... It's around 1:10 pm... we turn around and head towards "L'Arche." Impeccable service!

30/07/2026: Appalling. 10-minute wait at reception without a single greeting. Then 15 minutes at the table without anyone taking our order. Not a glance; on the contrary, they were avoiding us. I should mention that the restaurant was very empty. We left without regret.

06/09/2026: It's a shame, it's a café I used to frequent and enjoyed. Okay, I only buy coffees, so it's not very profitable, but a 25-minute wait after asking three times for a glass of water... in 35-degree heat. And it's not the first time I've encountered this situation. I know this job is difficult, but a smile would be welcome. What a shame.

08/08/2026: I've been coming to the café for my orange juice every Thursday for several years now. Today I tried the ice cream and it was delicious! My partner and I enjoyed a Belgian coffee and the refreshing ice cream, which was absolutely divine. The service was perfect and the waitress was very kind. Thank you so much!

01/07/2026: The restaurant and hotel are closed. It looks like a permanent closure, even though the menu is still hanging forlornly in the display case. Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars.
