28/07/2026: They told us it was fine for lunch. It was good, simple, quick, and efficient. There's a choice of several starters, salads, main courses, and desserts. And the prices are relatively reasonable. The staff are friendly and pleasant; there's really nothing to complain about for lunch—it's very convenient.

02/08/2026: I can't comment on the quality of the food since we unfortunately left before it was ready. This is the first time I've ever left a restaurant because of the appalling service. We had a reservation, were seated inside (be warned, it gets very hot during a heatwave), then were forcibly moved after 15 minutes for "another reservation," to a place where we could no longer feel the fans. When we asked to stay in our original seat (one of us has a serious medical condition that we had mentioned and needed more air), we were met with verbally aggressive waiters.

01/08/2026: The service is deplorable; the waitress lacks manners and competence. The wait is very long for a coffee or a waffle, and paying is complicated.

08/08/2026: A charming restaurant where they serve a perfectly cooked Emmental ribeye on a bed of excellent potatoes. The service is exceptional; Anaïs pampers you for two hours, making you feel like you've known her for 20 years. Warm atmosphere, thank you very much.

16/08/2026: Disappointment. It was impossible to sit outside because of the bird droppings in the alley. They were falling directly onto the tables. A disaster. We didn't want to eat inside because of the stifling heat, and the employee couldn't do anything about it.

16/05/2026: I highly recommend it, the best pizza in the Basque Country! The welcome and service are impeccable, just like the pizzas, without exception. Nice setting with parking available; in short, when you're craving pizza, this is the place to go!

18/06/2026: I didn't know about this place and discovered it when I came to pick up a keg of beer for my son, and wow, it's impressive! The number of beers on display is unbelievable. I learned that they offer charcuterie and cheese boards and that they organize football nights or bring in live musicians. It sounds amazing. I can easily imagine a World Cup final with France, and the evening ending with a concert; the atmosphere must be incredible. It's a shame we only have one final, but at least there won't be a shortage of beer. Great place!

15/07/2026: Arrived 3 hours early to enjoy the France-Spain semi-final. During the match, the picture was blurry and kept freezing, resulting in a delay of several minutes compared to the live broadcast due to insufficient bandwidth. It wasn't the first match of the tournament, so the problem was certainly known to those in charge. It would have been appropriate to inform them of this upon arrival, as I had clearly stated my intention. Aside from that, the staff were friendly and the tapas were excellent, except for the croutons, which were far too dry (they just need to be left out for less time).

14/07/2026: For over 15 years I've been coming to spend evenings at the Bistrot, wonderful evenings and wonderful memories. An atmosphere that never disappoints and that embodies the spirit of La Grande-Motte.

21/07/2026: We went for lunch as a group of eight: four adults and four children. First of all, we must highlight the excellent service from the waiter, who was attentive at all times. The food, a set menu, was delicious. The salmon tartare had a wonderful dressing; the Greek salad was very tasty with eggplant, bell pepper, feta cheese, and boiled egg; and to finish, a cheese board with cranberries. The adults who ordered the meat was also very good, cooked to perfection, and served with tasty potatoes. Everything was excellent. Bread and water were provided at no extra charge. We can't say enough good things about it. A great choice. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the coffee cost €3.50.

30/07/2026: We were looking for a good restaurant, and knowing Joanto, we didn't hesitate. However, we were very disappointed; it was far from living up to our previous experiences. We didn't get what we wanted because four of the menu items were unavailable. In addition, one of the wines was also out of stock. The dishes lacked originality compared to what we had experienced before, and the portions were disappointing. Furthermore, we had to wait a long time before being served and during the wait itself. For the price, this visit left a bitter taste in our mouths.

22/06/2026: They clearly think their customers are suckers. The waitresses are incredibly arrogant. For the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival), the glasses had a €2 deposit each. There were four of us, so that's a total of €8 in deposits. Yet, it was impossible to get that money back, neither in cash nor by card. That's €10 for a pint of beer! They'll do anything to make a profit off their customers. I've never seen anything like it! An unacceptable practice and a total lack of respect for the customers. Avoid at all costs.

30/07/2026: A very good meal at Pottoka with excellent service! The two servers were very friendly and always attentive, even refilling our water bottles without us having to ask (which was very welcome in this heat). The food was delicious, and we enjoyed it on the shaded terrace. No complaints whatsoever!
