02/04/2024: What a desappointment, Having already been to Le Chat Bleu, and having had good memories of it, I returned to this restaurant. Online booking. We tried to call to add 1 place, no answers despite 3 calls. Once we arrive, we receive a rather cold welcome, we start being told that "it's not going to be possible", then a "go see if you can squeeze in up there". The table only had 5 place settings, despite our reservation for 7, and a chair was missing. When we took our order we were told: "No food this evening, only burgers, we're not making falafel fries either. We're not turning on the fryer, it's too hot". No more excuses. Quick look around, the customers behind us had fries. We are told that "yes but then it was seen with the boss". We then ask for the accompaniments with the burger. "Nothing.". We are served, then she continues her service and comes back with fries for other customers? The moment of the bill comes when we are asked about our satisfaction, what audacity to answer "no", response not at all admissible a priori, since "the food was good, wasn't it?". But when we have service like this, yes we have the right to be unhappy otherwise we would have taken takeaway. As a bonus, “but it’s a heatwave, you have to think about the people who work”, a heatwave at 20°C. When we ask for explanations about the fries served at the tables next to us, they are “oven fries” therefore of "less good quality" and "there would only have been enough for 6", apologies to be reviewed. In short, half of the menu available (also depending on weather conditions), but good food nonetheless. Above all a big lack of professionalism on the part of the staff.

13/09/2024: I wanted to come, but it's closed, but I saw the comments from the owner, who always defends his employees explaining why, it seems like an ethical company to me.

30/11/2024: I love most of it is homemade, very cool atmosphere and you can talk easily (dessert attitude but no)

13/11/2024: Au coeur de BAYONNE, sur les bords de la Nive, la promesse était intéressante, mais Déception totale !!, avions consulté les avis avant de réserver et avons constaté qu'aucun avis ne correspond à la réalité .... Quand on arrive, c'est difficile de savoir si l'établissement est en chantier ou si une fermeture est à venir !! Concernant la restauration les portions très réduites, manque d'assaisonnement, rien de goûteux, quant aux desserts annoncés : en guise de pain perdu une tranche de brioche passée au chalumeau !!! avec sur le dessus une boule de glace au caramel !!! Comme son nom l'indique "KAPITO CAFE" c'est un café et non un restaurant ! Les sanitaires totalement négligés, fixation d'une poignée de porte sur une planche à découper ! absence de planche de déclenchement de la chasse d'eau, etc ... Nous sommes déconcertés par un tel laisser-aller !

01/08/2024: Portions généreuses, prix plus que raisonnables (4,5€ le dessert !), et accueil charmant. What elle ? Ha oui, c’est très bon :)

03/08/2024: Tout y est excellent : l accueil, la cuisine, le rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement. A tester absolument!!!!

18/05/2024: Une très belle découverte avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable, 19,50€ la formule complète du midi. Subtile et raffiné, je recommande !

04/02/2026: Amazing customer service, delicious food and very comfortable rooms. Excellent price point as well. Definitely recommend to stay here!
