03/01/2026: While passing through, we spotted a somewhat hidden door that intrigued us, and the menu really appealed to us. We bought some souvenirs and asked for a restaurant recommendation, and this was it. We were convinced it was a good choice. It was bitterly cold outside, and the warm welcome alone made us feel right at home. The food was excellent: oysters, onion soup, cassoulet... with generous portions! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. Thank you to the owner for this wonderful experience. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

01/01/2026: Restaurant in the center of Carcassonne. The food was good, but the service could be much better. We won't be back.

06/12/2025: Had lunch at La Table Ronde and ordered the chicken steak—tasty and well-cooked. It was quite full since we came on the weekend, but still comfortable. A nice place to try if you happen to be in the area.

05/01/2026: Good value for money. Pleasant welcome. The only downside was the slightly cramped dining room. As regulars in the area, we'd never tried this restaurant before. We were pleasantly surprised, especially in such a touristy environment. I recommend it.

04/01/2026: A good place to eat, about average compared to the other places we ate the rest of the days. The starters (salad and soup) and desserts were decent. The cassoulet we chose for our main course was very good. The service could be improved; they seemed to be in a bad mood, but it wasn't a problem if you wanted to escape the cold and eat.

02/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner, December 31, 2025: perfect in terms of the quality of the ingredients, the cooking, the sauces, and the presentation of the dishes. Highly recommended as it offered excellent value for money.

02/01/2026: Fantastic, we loved it! The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, the cousoulette was spectacular—the sausage, the duck, and the beans were all amazing—and the dessert was great too. We had the €26 lunch menu, and it was a total success. I would definitely go back.

06/07/2025: We were looking for a reasonably priced brasserie for a decent dinner. This place is perfect. A very friendly server, a tempting menu, and a great daily special that evening. My duck breast skewer was great, and so were the beef skewers! In short, I highly recommend it.

01/07/2025: Ten days in France and this was the best dinner by far. Duck Confit was delicious, Cod Gratin unique to me and wonderful. Goat cheese salad had a different spin that really worked and Gazpacho just right. Excellent wine by the glass, which is not true everywhere! Don’t miss!

28/09/2024: If the dishes are up to the standard of telephone or on-site reception... you will eat cold, very cold. We were happy to discover this good address but we will move on. A smile, an appropriate and polite turn of phrase, would have made the difference

10/07/2025: In our three-week trip through France, this restaurant stands out as having the absolute best service, no question. Staff were very attentive, and got the timing of the meal exactly right- not too rushed, not too long. The food was also great- the “menu for 21€” provides three delicious courses for excellent value. C’est top!
