20/10/2026: A completely disappointing experience. The food was of very poor quality and the customer service was terrible from beginning to end. To top it all off, the bathrooms were in unacceptable condition, practically unusable. Not recommended at all.

24/09/2026: The food was exquisite – beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious. But the wait for it was absurd. When we arrived at the restaurant, ours was one of only four or five occupied tables, but we still didn’t get our dinner for a solid hour. We waited 20 minutes for a refill on our carafe of water. Several other tables who came after us were served before us. (And one table who came before us got up and left, because they had waited so long to order.)

21/09/2026: A pleasant place. The food, however, was quite disappointing, especially considering the prices. The cassoulet tasted burnt and the roasted Camembert was off-putting, which necessitated a late-night trip to the restroom to return everything. We informed the restaurant staff at the end of our meal.

21/09/2026: We have been frequenting this restaurant for some time now, and with each visit, we have noticed a steady improvement in the cuisine, and above all, a remarkable consistency. Our latest eight-course tasting menu confirmed this impression once again. The cuisine is masterful and cohesive, built around high-quality, seasonal ingredients, with a strong emphasis on local produce. Mackerel, foie gras, frog legs, lobster, John Dory, and French Wagyu beef are all prepared with precision and respect for the ingredients. The cooking is perfectly executed, the combinations are spot-on, and the sauces add depth and balance to the dishes. We were already particularly impressed during our Easter lunch by the dishes featuring lamb, seasonal truffles, asparagus, lobster, and turbot. This latest experience confirms for us the evolution of the cuisine, but above all, the consistent quality of the offering. We also greatly appreciated the wine pairings, with relevant and sometimes surprising choices that perfectly complemented the different dishes. We sensed a genuine knowledge of the local terroir and ingredients throughout the entire team. The service mirrors the cuisine: attentive, warm, professional, and well-orchestrated. We felt a close-knit, dedicated team, committed to creating a truly exceptional gastronomic experience, right down to the smallest details. Our feeling is that the restaurant has reached a level of mastery, personality, and consistency that, in our opinion, deserves full recognition. 04/11/2026: This restaurant is located in Place Carnota, the liveliest square in the La Bastide district of Carcassonne. We chose it randomly and it was a great find. We ordered the duck breast medallions, fish and chips, and for dessert, ice cream with Chantilly cream and mango and coconut shortbread, for a total of 47 euros for two people. Everything was delicious. The staff is friendly and fast, and the restaurant has a pleasant terrace.
