03/01/2026: I discovered this bakery/pastry shop quite by chance during my recent stay in Carcassonne, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Freshness, quality, price, service—everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: We stopped for lunch on our holiday route and were not disappointed. A shaded terrace, fast, smiling and attentive service, excellent quality and very generous portions – we recommend it.

11/05/2026: Very nice place, good music and a great atmosphere. The salmon salad was a bit bland, but the tartare was exquisite. Friendly service.

07/05/2026: MISLEADING MENU: The listed ingredients were replaced with lower-quality ones! SCAM! We ordered two goat crêpes, which were filled with pizza mozzarella (tasteless) that wasn't mentioned on the menu. The goat cheese was practically nonexistent. We reported the problem, and the restaurant staff pretended not to understand with a mocking smile (I speak French). We paid €38 for two mozzarella crêpes and a panache. UNSUSPECTABLE, especially given the attitude of the staff. The worst crêpe I've ever eaten! I strongly advise against it!

18/12/2025: We came with a group for a charity event and discovered this restaurant. Fantastic! The food was local, the service excellent... We'll definitely be back.

14/05/2026: This remains one of the most reliable eateries in Carcassonne, for lunch we almost always pick the daily special which changes with wide variety. The outside terrace has plenty of shaded tables and offers a nice spot for enjoying a blanquette de Limoux glass of bubblies. It is a popular place, so make reservations.

12/05/2026: We came for petit dejeuner having just arrived then came on another day for dinner. Bread and croissant very good with the coffee but took ages to get service to pay. Our evening meal was good but not outstanding. I had the asparagus veloute which was under seasoned then lemon sole which was served with very salty spinach as a garnish. The sauce was amazing however and without the spinach I enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed the cassoulet. Nice terrasse.

25/04/2026: A rather disappointing restaurant with bad service. The food tasted off, and service poor. I do not recommend this place at all.

11/04/2026: We had lunch there today, a party of four. Everything was homemade and high quality. We left completely satisfied! Thank you!

13/05/2026: The Hotel Terminus is a magnificent and imposing Haussmann-style building located in the lower town of Carcassonne, opposite the train station. The architect Florentin Belin designed it. Inaugurated in 1914, the complex includes a hotel and the restaurant that would later become the "Bistro" of Carcassonne. The welcome is professional in a friendly atmosphere, whether in the dining room or on the shaded terrace. The service is prompt and efficient, and they are attentive to ensuring you have a pleasant experience. The dishes are delicious, such as the escargots, a classic bistro dish. The price is a bit high, but the setting is well worth it, as we had a wonderful time. I would definitely go back.

13/10/2025: October 2025 - We tried to return, but were informed that the owner had passed away and the restaurant was permanently closed. How sad... This restaurant was a gem! • • • • • Glad to see this restaurant is still open. Our visit in April 2019 (see photo) left us with very pleasant memories of the place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful! A place to retreat to when the weather is cold! We will definitely return in September 2025, during our next planned visit to Carcassonne!

27/08/2025: Establishment CLOSED!!!😡(We traveled 80km) It would be wise to report this on your door and on Google... And they don't answer the phone. Doesn't deserve any stars... Avoid!!!

18/04/2026: Ordered for the first time: one I don't know (merguez, chorizo, minced meat) and one Savoyarde. Really generous and very good. Friendly service.

14/04/2026: We were visiting the city and bought some pizzas. The waitress was excellent and quick, and the pizzas were delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you very much!

03/05/2026: We had a great time, with wood-fired ribeye steak and a singer-guitarist. Thank you, we had an excellent time in a medieval-style restaurant. We'll be back.

16/04/2026: A typical restaurant where we ate grilled chicken. The decor is quaint and the price/quality ratio is good. It may be a little difficult to find from the main road, which is easy to walk to. We highly recommend it.
