Then, we started eating, and there was a fly in our burger plate—specifically, in the salad! The servers didn't seem all that shocked. Furthermore, every time we've eaten, the plates have been chipped… another negative point regarding hygiene. Despite all that, the dishes are simple but satisfying. Finally, they gave us a small gesture of goodwill: an Orangina.

The building's facade is a bit dated and not particularly impressive, but once inside, the welcome is excellent and you immediately feel at home. The restaurant has retained its old-world charm, while being very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The menu includes country soup with the option of seconds, a simple cold starter, followed by a good, generous, and unpretentious meat dish of the day. A cheese course is offered before dessert. The desserts are frozen, but still reasonable for the price. The service is quick and efficient, ideal for workers and those short on time at lunchtime. Finally, the presence of many regulars is often a great indicator, and this is certainly the case here. An honest, no-nonsense place with good value for money for lunch.

27/04/2026: Impeccable service, a hearty country soup that evokes childhood memories, a generous starter and a delicious main course, all in keeping with the beginning of the meal, cheese and wine included, for a worker's lunch at €16.50 – it's a trip down memory lane, and you have to head back to work with a full stomach. I wish I could find restaurants like this every day...

20/06/2026: Reservation made. The place is all stone, magnificent interior. Welcome: ++++++ Service: ++++++ Excellent homemade meal. Set menu at €26, nothing to complain about. The owner is really very friendly and his wife is an excellent cook. Come without hesitation! You'll have a wonderful meal without breaking the bank.

09/06/2026: Good hotel. The breakfast was very generous and high quality. The hostess was also very friendly and pleasant. Our small dogs were welcomed with a small jar of treats and a ball each. The manager gave me a discount on the payment for the dogs, which was very kind of her, and we appreciated it. The room, the bedding, and the bathroom were excellent. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

I sat down, and a few minutes later, they asked me to leave the table because the restaurant was setting up for lunch service. Which I can understand. However, when they insult me ​​and tell me I shouldn't sit down, without even asking permission, that's unacceptable. The location makes the owner think he's some kind of big shot! Located opposite the train station, the bar and restaurant are very reasonably priced. And thanks to the modest price of the daily menu, it offers good value for money.
