27/04/2026: Impeccable service, a hearty country soup that evokes childhood memories, a generous starter and a delicious main course, all in keeping with the beginning of the meal, cheese and wine included, for a worker's lunch at €16.50 – it's a trip down memory lane, and you leave with a full stomach ready to head back to work. I wish I could find restaurants like this every day...

24/04/2026: Lunch at the restaurant: The set menu was deplorable, from soup to dessert. (The soup was bland and insubstantial, the peas and carrots were from a can, and there was one small canned mushroom in a tasteless fish sauce). Even at €16.50, they could have prepared something of decent quality.

24/05/2026: Excellent family restaurant, perfect for families with children.

17/05/2026: Local produce and generous portions. The plates are well-presented. I do wish, however, that the Roquefort sauce on the tagliatelle was thicker and creamier.

09/06/2026: Good hotel. The breakfast was very generous and high quality. The hostess was also very friendly and pleasant. Our small dogs were welcomed with a small jar of treats and a ball each. The manager gave me a discount on the payment for the dogs, which was very kind of her, and we appreciated it. The room, the bedding, and the bathroom were excellent. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

07/06/2026: A disastrous experience from start to finish. Honestly, I still wonder how this establishment can call itself a restaurant. There were only about twenty customers, yet the service was already completely overwhelmed. After waiting more than 20 minutes just to place our order, we politely asked how long the wait would be to decide if it was worth staying. The waiter's response: "I'm not a magician." Once our order was finally taken, we discovered that a large part of the menu was no longer available. So we ended up choosing pizzas… before being told 15 minutes later that they were out of pizza dough. The result: a pointless wait, no anticipation, no stock, no communication, and no sense of service. The most shocking thing was how the problem was handled: instead of offering an alternative solution, the staff became unpleasant when we expressed our dissatisfaction. We left without eating. I won't judge the food since it was clearly impossible to eat, but if the quality of the food is comparable to the organization and service, it certainly doesn't make me want to return. Avoid this place if you were actually planning on having dinner.

21/03/2026: A neighborhood bar and restaurant with many regulars. The owner runs the kitchen and the dining room. The food is simple, home-style, but tasty. Located opposite the train station, the bar and restaurant are very reasonably priced. And thanks to the modest price of the daily menu, it offers good value for money.

29/05/2026: Never again. What a disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend it. The food is very disappointing and of poor quality. A ghost hotel. One person trying to do everything, while five people were staying overnight. The only positive point is its location. But avoid it. A sinking ship, in my opinion.

16/05/2026: We stopped by early in the morning before continuing our walk on the Camino de Santiago. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast before setting off. Alain was always ready to help.

02/01/2026: I found myself scrambling at the last minute, on December 31st, to find VUSE top-ups for my brother. I was feeling a bit discouraged and ready to take any top-up, even if it wasn't the right one. Luckily, the tobacconist was kind and helpful, informing me that his were indeed unsuitable. Eventually, I managed to find the correct top-ups at another tobacconist. Thank you! ☺️

27/04/2026: Arriving late this Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh monkfish. A very pleasant person welcomed us with a smile. We finished with a delicious dessert. Highly recommended! We'll be back!

22/04/2026: We were disappointed. Cobwebs, dusty, bordering on dirty, creepy, insects on the tables, flies buzzing around you, no menu, the owner asks you what you want to eat while picking his nostrils... yes, really! After that, you lose your appetite. ...the meat looked good, but it was hard to swallow, and the hygiene was questionable. So we ate super fast, like a speech from Gonzales, we couldn't wait to get out of there... brrr... honestly, we were really disappointed. However, the owner is nice, and the price: €50 for 5 people, hard to find cheaper. But clearly, we'd rather pay double and go somewhere cleaner. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!

23/05/2026: The service was appalling; you don't get to choose your seat. You're seated at a dirty table that's never cleaned. In short, avoid it at all costs. As for me, I'll never set foot in there again.

29/04/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant with my partner and daughter. We received a warm welcome and were seated quickly. The charcuterie appetizer was good, as was the meat. It's a shame the fries weren't homemade with decent meat, and the chocolate mousse was clearly store-bought. It had been recommended to us as very good, but I don't entirely agree.

14/06/2026: We waited a very long time for our meal, and the waitress was incompetent. The menu said "homemade fries," but when I asked, she said they were frozen. You also have to ask for bread, otherwise they won't bring it. We asked for vegetables, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere that they were an extra charge (€5). It's appalling. Avoid this place.

13/05/2026: Ms. Pirlot, a very pleasant place with charming staff, I recommend it. For all those people who don't like going to the casino to watch a football match and then complain that they don't pay attention to you and just chat for 30 minutes, I'm telling you that's not true. I go there regularly and I have absolutely no problems with the staff at the entrance, the restaurant, the bar, or the cook. They are all top-notch. However, you'll excuse me, they only have two arms. Perhaps you should also ask yourself if you are polite and smiling, because from what I see at the casino, people who come in all look glum. Remember, smiling is the only thing you don't pay for! 😚😚😚😚

18/05/2026: Appalling! A typical tourist trap!!! The staff are grumpy, the "homemade" aspect is questionable, and if it really is homemade, they should learn how to cook (it's cold, tasteless, the aligot was awful even though it's supposed to be the local dish)... come on, we were on vacation, and if you don't get ripped off at least once in this kind of "restaurant," you're not really on vacation... avoid it!

07/05/2026: While we had a package deal booked through an agency that included meals, drinks, etc., when it came time to pay the bill they refused to include wine. As a result, they got paid for the package by the agency plus the price of the wine. A real profit for them! At no point did they tell us that wine wasn't a beverage! We didn't make a scene, but frankly, we found it dishonest.
