14/02/2026: We received a very warm welcome, arriving at 1 p.m. on a Friday without a reservation, as a group of four. They offered us a table at 1:15 p.m., which was perfect for us. The lunch menu was generous, and we all thoroughly enjoyed both the starters (open-faced sandwiches, quiche, vegetable soup) and the main courses (the sauerkraut was delicious, and the pork loin and veal cordon bleu were also very much appreciated). A truly excellent place, but booking in advance is highly recommended: it gets very busy during the week at lunchtime! Kudos to the whole team and thank you for your hospitality, the warm atmosphere, and the change of scenery!

17/01/2026: Delicious food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Quiet conversation is possible even when the restaurant is full; the background music is very subtle, sometimes you can't even hear it. We'll definitely be back. Oh, and reservations are a must!

The service is equally impressive, friendly and efficient. Even though the menu is small, everyone found something they liked. We're really looking forward to coming back.

20/01/2026: The servers were very welcoming. If you're looking for a place to eat good meat, this is the place to go. The meat is tender and very tasty, and the hanger steak is even served in two courses. Excellent value for money; I paid around €80 for a large starter, two drinks, and two hanger steaks. The side dishes were very generous. I have absolutely no complaints and will gladly return.

07/12/2025: I'm not judging the food, which we didn't get a chance to try, but the waiter (a rather tall gentleman) behaved in a condescending, impolite, and borderline indecent manner, even following us into the street and threatening us. He simply refused to seat us, claiming there was no room (we think we know the reason for his refusal, but I won't elaborate here). When we finally managed to make a reservation online, proving to him that there was indeed space, he didn't appreciate being challenged and became angry. In short, we left, and some customers in the street who witnessed the scene. They wanted to go in, but they turned back when they saw this man's attitude. We were very fortunate to find another restaurant nearby that was much warmer, more welcoming, and better!

03/02/2026: What an excellent place! I opted for the set menu and kept things simple. Among the starters, I savored a fabulous butternut squash velouté, refined and perfectly seasoned. I followed with a ribeye steak and rösti. The cooking was flawless and completely masterful. An assortment of green vegetables (broad beans and asparagus) brilliantly complemented the dish and its sauce, delicately enhanced with a touch of whole-grain mustard. The culinary pleasure didn't end with dessert: the homemade chocolate profiteroles were delicious and generously portioned. Add to that a team that was incredibly attentive (both in the dining room and the kitchen). Around me, the other tables took turns praising the chef for her talent. Look no further, you've found it: Le Bistronome is the neighborhood gem.

09/02/2026: What a great find! The decor is lovely. The staff is delightful, and the food is truly delicious. I had one of the best chocolate mousses of my life there. I also love being able to take my coffee and linger there reading a book even after I've finished my meal. Just one small drawback: the music was a bit too loud for my taste.

06/02/2026: A charming little restaurant offering about ten dishes. It's not very big, so it's best to book ahead. The owner is very friendly and attentive to his customers. There's no menu; everything is on a chalkboard that's moved from table to table. The penne with chicken liver was excellent, as was the burger. A unique feature of the restaurant is that you can sample absinthe with expert guidance from the owner. A glass costs €12, but it's worth trying. A good place for a pleasant evening.

20/01/2026: We came today for the daily special, but unfortunately, there were no seats available in the dining room (about 15 people). What a shame! But thankfully, the management found a compromise and offered a replacement menu, admittedly a bit pricey, but very, very good. The place is pleasant, spacious, the service is very professional, and the management is attentive to its customers. We can't wait to try the terrace as soon as the weather improves.

09/12/2025: What a wonderful gem restaurant. Friendly, cozy and delicious food. A great experience for those looking to enjoy the Franco-German traditional food with a lovely staff. We felt like home sharing a delicious meal with friends. We recommend reservations. The creme brulee was phenomenal!

08/12/2025: On a friend's recommendation, we came here for lunch as a family (6 adults, a 2.5-year-old, and a 5-month-old baby) while exploring the Alsatian Christmas markets, and we had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was warm, the decor authentic, the waitress incredibly friendly and helpful, the food delicious, and the portions generous. I highly recommend it!
