17/04/2026: Michael Wagner and Jérémy Page fully deserve their Michelin star. This evening, we enjoyed the 11-course tasting menu, accompanied by the classic wine pairing. Every dish was excellent and left nothing to be desired. The main course particularly impressed and truly won us over. The wine pairing was of high quality and especially interesting, with beautiful, carefully chosen, and perfectly matched wines. On my next visit, however, I will definitely opt for the premium version. The sommelier this evening was knowledgeable and very attentive. Overall, this young team was friendly and pleasantly relaxed, without any stiffness. Exactly how I like it.

02/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This family-run Italian restaurant has everything we love: a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and generous, flavorful dishes. You can immediately feel the family spirit and the desire to do things well. The pasta and pizza were excellent, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was attentive from beginning to end. A place where you feel comfortable and want to return. I highly recommend it!

22/02/2026: The meal was excellent. The service was a little late, but I understand, the restaurant was full. The servers were friendly and attentive to each table. We were a bit cramped with the other tables; it would be great if the tables could be spaced out a bit more, even if it meant removing one or two.

17/02/2026: I discovered Le Fossile several years ago, and it has definitely become a must-visit on every trip to Strasbourg. It possesses a traditional charm that blends perfectly with home-style cooking and evokes the best memories, far beyond fleeting trends. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. The foie gras and snails are exquisite. Their signature dish, the hanger steak, prepared in all its forms, is a marvel. The icing on the cake: the Armagnac collection (dating back to 1912!!) is the perfect finishing touch for any evening—a little insider tip: ask for your birth year. I can only guarantee one thing: I will be back again and again.

18/02/2026: A very intimate setting, on a small street in Strasbourg. There are only a few tables, which allows for a level of attention from the owner that I've never experienced before. He takes the time to chat with you, is very pleasant, and asks if everything is alright. We had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned. And it's excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!

From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a smile and genuine kindness—a rare quality these days and one that deserves to be highlighted. The food is excellent, entirely homemade with seasonal produce, offering flavorful, generous, and perfectly balanced dishes. Special mention goes to the desserts: absolutely delicious, and the tarts... simply divine! The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing meal. A very handy bonus: you can reserve and order the daily special for takeout from Tuesday to Friday (by ordering the day before). A pure delight, I highly recommend it! ✨🤤

22/03/2026: Both my wife and I ordered the steak with fries, but with different sauces. Both dishes were delicious. Then, to top it all off, we had the creme brûlée for dessert. Excellent as well! The service was also fantastic. We'll definitely be back before we leave town.

15/04/2026: Glad I reserved a table at Les Sales during my stay at Strasbourg. Its loacted in a quiet neighborhood easily accessible by tram. The menu changes every few weeks and each item on it is exceedingly good. You can't end your meal without giving their tiramisu a try. Its their take on the tiramisu with salted caramel and its TRÈS BON. They also have an exceptional wine list.

08/04/2026: This restaurant is ridiculously expensive for the portion size and quality! The waitress was stressing me out, constantly coming to my table to take the cork from my glass or bring back the dessert menu, and she cleared my plate before I'd even finished my main course! To make matters worse, they didn't serve me potatoes with my steak tartare, even though they were included in the menu! I've included a photo. Here's that tiny plate for 20 euros and change! And the tea was presented in a stained and poorly washed teapot, which was only a third full of boiling water! They're complete rip-offs! This restaurant is to be avoided at all costs.
