16/02/2026: La Fontaine brasserie is an excellent restaurant, perfectly combining simplicity, quality, and conviviality. The deliberately concise menu features daily specials—dish of the day, daily catch, and meat of the day—a guarantee of freshness and expertly prepared ingredients. In addition, there are two carefully composed salads, andouillettes, a steak tartare that can be customized to your liking, and remarkable truffle ravioli, which are particularly delicious. The open kitchen is a real plus: it allows you to watch the dishes being prepared and demonstrates the care taken with both the presentation and the quality of the food. The welcome is warm, and the service is efficient and attentive without being pushy. The establishment also benefits from a prime location on the Place de la Fontaine, which is very pleasant, especially on the terrace. The portions are perfectly balanced, generous without being excessive. An elegant and reliable establishment, where you'll gladly return for its consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere.

29/01/2026: Passing through the area, my husband and I stopped for lunch. We opted for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and from start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was excellent. The chef's dishes are worthy of a top restaurant. We will be back.

25/01/2026: We had a very good meal. The ham platter with mixed vegetables was incredible. The main courses were just as good and very generous, although my meat was slightly overcooked. However, a major drawback was the service: the wait was far too long. It took about 15 minutes for drinks, then 35 minutes for the starter, and another 35 minutes for the main courses. The staff lacked presence and attentiveness. It's a shame, because this wait discouraged us from ordering dessert. With more responsive service, the experience would have been much better.

21/10/2025: A beautiful and peaceful hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but everything is there: a comfortable bed and a good shower/bath, and everything is very clean. The heated pool is a plus. The owners are very friendly and passionate about their work; no effort is too much. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

19/03/2026: During a business trip to Martigues, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. The decor is tasteful and doesn't try to hide the weakness of the cuisine. The menu is perfect; the sea bream, cooked to perfection, is wonderfully accompanied by seasonal vegetables—turnips, carrots, and leeks—on a bed of squid ink rice—a true delight, perfectly balanced with its saffron sauce. Thank you for this meal; keep it up, I will return.

25/02/2026: For under €20, we enjoyed a daily special and dessert, both homemade, generous, and delicious. The servers were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The beachfront terrace is particularly pleasant. We were delighted to discover this place and highly recommend it. Unfortunately, we ate everything before we even thought to take a picture.

27/02/2026: We had heard great things about this restaurant for a long time, and what a disappointment! The service was appalling; they forgot our aperitif, our bottle of wine, and our coffee. They spilled sauce on the table when they placed a dish down, and shrimp jus was spilled on me and my neighbor. We're only human, but all of that in one meal is just too much! As for the food itself, it was incredibly basic for the price. You can find much better, more sophisticated restaurants with impeccable service for the same price. Extremely disappointed.

17/02/2026: I used to go there regularly, and I was quite disappointed this time… I understand that prices are rising everywhere, but that's no reason to lower the quality. As for the duck breast, I practically had to search for the sauce and morels on the plate. Before, they would have a small bowl of cream and morel sauce on the plate, but it was generous and delicious. Now, both the portion size and the quality seem to have declined. The cured ham and the mixed appetizers were of lower quality than anything I've had before, and the price reflected that.

19/09/2025: A unique experience at L’Épuisette. Not being a fan of fine dining, I was a little worried I wouldn't leave feeling full, given the generous portions. But that's not what you come here for, and I was amazed by the flavors I discovered. The dishes are elaborate, very refined, and with the succession of courses, you leave with a very full stomach. I had requested a good table, and my request was honored, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A wonderful memory.
