Le repas était vraiment délicieux. Le ceviche de poisson est une merveille et le poulpe caramélisé cuit à la perfection. Bravo le chef !
Tout était parfait dans ce repas de midi y compris le service ! Personnel attentionné et souriant. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

06/08/2024: We came for the photography meetings and we enjoyed the daily specials at this very nice restaurant. It was good, and the service was fast.
And coffee for 1 euro. There are even roudoudous hidden above the bar!

Restaurant Gastronomique - Le Vallon de Valrugues

06/09/2024: My wife and I have been blown away by the innovative, inspired cuisine of Chef Jérôme Yahia, who in our opinion should have two Michelin stars to his name!
Every meal is a culinary adventure from start to finish, filled with pleasure with every mouthful.. He sources the best local ingredients, and creates exciting dishes with great flair. Masterfully combining textures, flavours, and colours that are art as well as food!
We’ve had 3 lunches so far and two diners and every plate has been a joy to eat. A feast on the eyes and then the palet.
We’ve dined at 1, 2 and 3 star restaurants and both agree his cooking is easily 1 star, and better suited to 2 Michelin stars in our opinion.
Often with haute cuisine, if you’re a big eater like me you can feel “less is less” and wish that you just had a bit more! But that’s not the case with him. His portions are as generous as they are delicious.
I suffer from life-threatening allergies. So eating out can be very high risk, and in the past, has led to me being rushed to hospital via ambulance because someone dropped the ball or they were complacent/negligent.
But right from the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jerome was completely on top of my allergies and the triggers, as were front of house who had evidently been extremely well briefed. Consequently, I was able to sit back and relax and eat safely, with complete confidence that chef and his team, plus front of house had my back. Which has made every meal a far more relaxed experience for me and for my wife than in the past.
So if you suffer from food allergies, or intolerance, I can say based on my experience, if you dine here you are in very good hands if you let them know in advance. Personally, I always notify a restaurant or hotel before I dine there of what my allergies are. Because it’s much easier to plan in advance, then have to work around in the middle of a busy service. But that’s just my view..
The staff front of house are all very friendly, warm and extremely professional! It’s a real pleasure to dine with them. They are attentive without being too much, and always on hand keen to help/serve.
The sommelier (I regret I haven’t got her name) is not only clearly very passionate about what she does, and extremely knowledgeable. She’s also very warm and engaging, always advising on the best wine to complement a dish, not the most expensive. That said, she has curated a very extensive and impressive wine list which will satisfy anyone’s pallet.
So as you can tell, both myself and my wife are big fans, and would recommend anyone to come here and have a gastronomic adventure!
As for me we will be back next year and I’m Very much looking forward to dinner tonight..

Les plats sont succulents et les associations de saveurs délicieuses. Un table qui mérite son étoile. Un service irréprochable et attentionné. C’est une parenthèse de bonheurs gustatifs .

Cuisines traditionnelle , Provençale, Ou est tu ? On dirais que le mot viande est devenu une insulte... marre de ce lobby du vege qui voudrais qu'on bouffe tous du soja à longueur de journée...
Alors c'est sur que pour faire du profit sa c'est top , 15euros pour du riz blanc , un bout de truite, des pousses de je ne sais quoi , et trois fèves qui se battent en duel sans sauces , sans préparation...
On est en Provence, elles sont où les saveurs de la méditerranée la ?
Balancer une certaines quantité de pseudo legumes "à la modes" même pas préparé, sur un fond de riz blanc ou de nouilles toutes fades dans une boîte en cartons, nous la vendre 15euros, et avoir comme slogans "Cantines des chefs" c'est ce qu'on appelles avoir du culot...
De temp en temp quand même ils nous propose un plat "normal" mais toujours moins disponible que les 2 autres plats Vege , et d'ailleurs si vous lisez ceci , vous remarquerez que les plats qui reste à la fin du services c'est jamais les plats "traditionnelle"...
Respecter vôtres slogans , et travailler vôtres cuisines , au lieux de surfer sur la vague du vege...
