It’s simple and it’s good, it’s a shame we had to wait a bit…

Excellent! Perfect! If you pass through Aubagne go there with your eyes closed in addition to the cuisine which is Excellent the welcome and the atmosphere everything was perfect we were really in the Marcel Pagnol atmosphere.

13/07/2024: Very warm welcome even late on Saturday evening! A small table set up on the sidewalk to enjoy the busy street. The falafel sandwich was delicious, no complaints other than we want to try everything on their menu. An address to remember in Marseille for cravings at any time of the day.
07/07/2024: Great falafel sandwhich and lovely service. The prices are also reasonable. It is a small place with mediocre ambience. I would definitely recommend to try out this place.

Small lunch break between two meetings for my greatest happiness. I was tired of eating fast food all the time or coming across overpriced restaurants. What was my surprise when I decided to let myself be tempted by their dish of the day (to take away). €13 for the main course and dessert, incredible value for money. My taste buds savored a wonderful marbled veal liver accompanied by a simple homemade puree, followed by a delicious chocolate fondant. Amazing ! Thank you for still respecting homemade, thank you for this taste accuracy. I agree with the other comments: don't hesitate, go for it! 🤤

Je commande une indienne la pizza arrive chrono en main 3 minutes plus tard ...
Alors que je m'attendais à une bonne dose de crème fraîche( comme toutes les pizzas indiennes ) et bien relevée au curry, je vois une espèce de mélange d'eau claire sous les lamelles de poulet ....franchement pas appétissant..... mais bon je tente quand même ...(mon compagnon avait l'air d'apprécier sa royale ),mais en fait la mienne n'avait aucun goût, j'ai beaucoup hésité à appeler quelqu'un ,quand je vois un énorme cheveux en plein milieu! alors là ,je les ai appelé, on m'a proposé une autre ,mais très franchement je n'osais même plus tenter autre chose..... Ayant tout de même faim, je finis par commander une royale, et là encore ,plutôt que de la sauce tomate, je trouve un espèce de liquide rougeâtre.... Et le jambon était avarié , au bout de deux portions avalées sans aucun plaisir gustatif , (et sans jambon),je trouve encore un cheveu !!!!!!! là je me suis dit c'est pas possible!!!
La serveuse s'est excusée ( c'est la moindre des choses) . ça m'a tellement coupé l'appétit qu'on est parti sans prendre de dessert évidemment .
Plus jamais je ne remettrai les pieds dans cette horrible endroit.
C'est une honte, et un irrespect total des clients !

I highly recommend this local address which for me is part of the heritage of the Saintes Maries de la Mer.

On est surpris du début à la fin, on n est pas simplement au restaurant mais en train d assister au spectacle d’un artiste et sa troupe
Et tout cela dans une ambiance simple et ultra conviviale
Ayant déjà fait plusieurs étoilés, je peux dire qu aucun ne m a autant agréablement surpris que celui ci
Nous reviendrons , c est certain !!!
20/08/2024: Le dîner à l'Oustau avec le chef Glen Viel était somptueux. Magnifique menu Ballade à 340€ avec notamment une bouillabaisse revisitée qui était incroyable. Le chef Viel vient discuter avec toutes les tables, il est charmant et très accessible et il prend même la pose pour faire quelques photos! Personnel très gentil et professionnel.

04/08/2024: Small streetside restaurant. Arrived at the end of service so there was not much choice but what we ate was good and plentiful.
20/07/2024: At the bend of an alley, we came across this small restaurant with a facade decorated with beautiful stones. It was late but the cook accepted. The menu was excellent from start to finish. The server always had a smile and was happy to be there.

17/08/2024: Visited the Cabannais restaurant today a bit by chance, we were told that it was a change of ownership and that it was their first day of taking over the restaurant.
The welcome was very friendly, quality homemade cuisine with fresh regional products and reasonable prices, what more could you ask for?!
The whole team was extremely kind and pleasant and made sure we had a great time with them and honestly it was really great.
We were immediately put at ease with an aperitif offered by the house (delicious lemony mackerel spread and green olives as well as an aniseed melon smoothie) and by the warm welcome from the boss as well as the waitress.
The dishes offered are nice, few in number (a guarantee of quality in my opinion) and varied (meat and fish), the cooking is perfectly successful and the presentation of the plates is very pretty.
The desserts are simple and very well executed, enough to end on a good sweet note.
I reiterate my compliments to the chef.
An address not to be missed if you are in the area and are looking for a pleasant experience and cuisine made with the heart.
