03/04/2025: First restaurant tested in Marseille and a good experience! I chose the 2 choices and 1 dessert formula. The mushroom and almond soup was very good and mild, and the rice with chickpea omelette and fried onions was simple but effective. The coconut blancmange with caramel (vegan) was fresh and not too sweet. I found the service very fast despite the crowds.

16/01/2026: I've been there several times (with my daughter) and yesterday with family. I've tried different dishes and each time I've thoroughly enjoyed them. The restaurant has an unusual decor that might seem cluttered to some, but that's precisely what I love about it; it gives the place a unique character. Not to mention that the welcome and service are always excellent. It's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere; you feel right at home. Honestly, if you're in the neighborhood, go there, and even if you're further away, it's worth the trip. The daily specials are expertly prepared, the menu is small, and the ingredients are fresh—everything comes together to create a wonderful experience. They've even rekindled my love for crème caramel; it's divine! Thank you for this discovery. (So, unfortunately, I don't have any photos. I eat too fast, and every time I think, "Darn, I forgot to take pictures again!" 😜) Oh yes, if you're planning to go, remember to book; it's often full, although you usually won't have to wait long.

09/12/2025: A promise is a promise! The rating is well deserved! The service was incredibly fast for such a short lunch break! The waiter was very friendly and, above all, the food was excellent!

19/01/2026: I caught food poisoning after going to lunch at Café Caumont. Furthermore, the service was...mediocre. At the end of the meal, we were completely forgotten. We waited 15 minutes before we finally got hold of the waiter, who seemed to have forgotten we existed. He asked my wife what she wanted—a coffee—and then left. I had to get up to order my coffee. The service was subpar.

24/09/2024: Small restaurant with a simple menu and few place settings but the quality of the dishes is really there. A little extra for the coffee at the end of the meal served according to the rules of the art. I recommend!

18/11/2025: A nice restaurant just steps from LUMA. The interior was pleasant, and the staff was friendly too. The pork was decent, but the fries were a bit small. I really enjoyed the dessert.

11/12/2025: December 10, 2025 We came back because there was hope for great night. Pizza was so heavy and overpriced thar probably no return to this place. Dessert - way too much suger. So, please, to the future visitors : do not be blinded by decor. Please. Choose wisely Ludmila MB I had such great disappointment on a December 30th... 2024 I very much understand now that Christmas decorations must never blind people, especially those who do not speak french. Please. Before you order your meal, make sure what it will be. To the owner of La Rotonde : believe me, there is better food and service in Aix-en-Provence. L. MB

09/12/2025: Nut allergy friendly: Their online menu label all allergens, which I found quite nice. We arrived around 7PM on a Tuesday and got seated as a table of 6 on the heated patio (space heaters above) with no issues. Time to Pizza: ~35 Minutes Time to Desserts: 1 hour, 35 Minutes They have an English menu online that you can reach by scanning a QR code. This menu also includes the desserts. I ordered a Cezanne pizza, a 50cl of the local amber (Pietre, which note does contain chestnuts), and a creme brulee and my total ended up around 47 Euro ($54ish). The pizza is enough to be filling for one hungry person or easily split for two people. Honestly though, I didn't think it was anything special. They went very light on actual ingredients so it looks cute but doesn't have too much substance outside of the wood fired flavor. It took quite a while for the staff to come back around with dessert offerings. I got the creme brulee, which was okay - made well but could have been better flame crisped. Overall, a great spot for the vibes but I wouldn't come back for the food. The prices are incredibly high for what you get.

23/08/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Mas des Amandiers. We stayed for a few days and had an incredible time in this haven of peace. A true break from the stress of life in an idyllic setting, with the manager's valuable advice and recommendations. We highly recommend it!

21/09/2024: Superb menu and service and ambience. This is a wonderful hotel in the centre of St Rémy en Provence where we stayed for almost a week. The hotel is incomparable - beautifully appointed and with staff who cannot do more to help. The dining room served breakfast as a buffet as well as cooked plates and it was an excellent experience - the menu for dinner was imaginative and of the highest quality as was the service. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as a hotel and as a restaurant and urge everyone in Provence to go there at least once on each holiday to that delightful region.

06/09/2024: Une belle découverte … arrivés un peu par hasard nous avons eu la dernière table de libre. L’aïoli et le thon au menu du jour nous ont enchantés ainsi que le clafoutis maison !
