11/09/2026: First, the positives: beautiful decor and generous portions. However, a huge disappointment with a rather unmotivated and unfriendly waiter! I ordered a bottle of white wine (€32), he put it on the table, I asked for a container to keep it chilled, and he brought me a small ice cube tray! I ordered beef tartare, asked for seasoning (Tabasco, etc.), and he told me he didn't have any! To top it all off, the bill wasn't itemized, so we paid without being able to check it. A bill of €126 for three people. It's not the price that bothers me, but the waiter's attitude; he clearly didn't want to work! A real shame.

06/09/2026: Plastic wrapping around the "supposedly homemade" foie gras. Incompetent waiter who didn't know his menu; he tried to charge me an extra €6.60 for a carafe of wine. The owner has changed... it shows!

27/09/2026: Excellent cuisine! 👌 Lobster lovers, go for it! 🦐 The linguine with shellfish broth is simply delicious 🤤 A truly wonderful experience, beautiful flavors, and expertly prepared dishes. Bravo to the chef! 👏👨‍🍳

17/09/2026: My sweetheart invited me to this surf and turf restaurant on the Mediterranean coast. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It's a shame the service was so basic; we would have appreciated a reminder of our dishes and the ingredients they contained. But that didn't detract from the quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The price, however, reflects the quality of the food and is quite high.

06/06/2026: I didn't have the disgrace of eating at this establishment, and I have absolutely no intention of doing so. I am a woman traveling alone, and I was assaulted by two men about ten meters from this restaurant. They started by hitting my dog, then openly threatened me with rape, shouting in the street and being physically threatening. The waiter who was there came out to tell us he didn't care and to "go do it somewhere else" (which they did), and offered me absolutely no assistance. 👍 I therefore agree with the previous comments describing the service as unpleasant and disrespectful.

30/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant! Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The dining room is warm, pleasant, and beautifully appointed, making for a truly enjoyable meal. The dishes are generous, delicious, and prepared with care. The price is very reasonable considering the quality offered. Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and professionalism. 14/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The pizza was simply incredible, absolutely delicious. The staff was lovely, very welcoming and attentive. Special mention to the owner, who is truly charming, very friendly, and with whom we had a great chat. He's very communicative and immediately puts you at ease, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and warm; you really feel comfortable there. And what's more, the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. We had a fantastic time. I recommend it 100%!

23/08/2026: INCREDIBLE! The ribeye steak and andouillette sausage were simply delicious, and the desserts were too! The service was perfect! The owners are a couple from Marseille who have a real knack for hospitality and good food. Take the time to chat with them, and you'll understand why it's so good. Highly recommended, thank you!

22/09/2026: Last night we went to eat the pistou soup. €20 for a single plate with a half ladleful, a portion of cheese, and a lousy ice cream cone—I think that's a total rip-off, especially since other people didn't even get any (they were out of stock). Not to mention the terrible organization. This is the third year in a row we've gone there; the previous years were very good, but this is really outrageous. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.

05/09/2026: I've been ordering from them for about ten years now, and it's always a real treat! The quality is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and I've never been disappointed. It's become a sure thing for me; I recommend it without hesitation!

12/09/2026: Disappointed. Dishes covered in limescale, meat not tender, strong and strange taste of the beef. Fries and salads were bland. Slow service with waitresses who seemed lost. Nutella profiteroles straight from the freezer. I don't understand the hype around this restaurant.

14/08/2026: The Bistrot des Plantes offers a food service. On sunny days, tables are set up outside in the main square, and there are a few designated for drinks only on the sidewalk. When I asked if it was possible to have a drink (there were free tables on the sidewalk), the waiter curtly replied that it was time to eat. This is deplorable, and for this reason, I will not return to this place. I did sit down anyway, since there were other customers. I do not recommend it.

It's always a pleasure to be greeted with a smile, a great sense of humor, and such positive energy. 😊 And what can I say about the exotic salads I savored, not to mention the delicious homemade tapenade… Pure bliss! 😋 A warm, friendly restaurant full of thoughtful touches. 07/09/2026: Fantastic little restaurant. Delicious homemade dishes and desserts (truly) delicious, efficient service, and a final bill that was more than reasonable for such quality. Add to that a pure 1900s-style interior with a magnificent Belle Époque zinc bar, and you have everything to love. Bravo!

The place lives up to its name: a friendly, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a great time in the South of France. 🍽️ We had a very pleasant time. The welcome was friendly, the service pleasant, and the ambiance perfectly matches what you're looking for when you come to enjoy La Ciotat: taking your time, eating well, and appreciating the surroundings. La Ciotat is also worth exploring: its port, its charming streets, its seafront, and of course, the magnificent surrounding landscapes offer plenty to fill your day. 🌊 After your meal, I highly recommend taking a stroll along the coast or the port. For photography enthusiasts like myself, the Mediterranean light and landscapes around La Ciotat offer wonderful opportunities, especially at the end of the day. 📸 I'll definitely remember this place for its friendly atmosphere and pleasant setting. 05/10/2026: The service was poor. We ordered a set menu and waited a long time for our salad. Then, when we asked for extra fries, they arrived 45 minutes later – it's really unacceptable. We obviously refused them.

03/10/2026: Hello Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. I had the prawn wok and it was very good. My wife and children had the veal Milanese, which was generous and flavorful. The sirloin steak was tender and perfectly cooked. The service was quick.
