19/07/2026: Fantastic Sunday brunch. Warm welcome. Attentive service. We loved it.

18/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! We started with a sharing platter, which was delicious, generous, and made with high-quality ingredients. I then had a burger, which was truly excellent and very filling. The service is quick, the staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it!

22/07/2026: A restaurant that initially seemed pleasant at the foot of Caen Castle. However, we arrived at 1 p.m. and didn't get our food until 3:45 p.m. The wait was far too long despite the good food (avoid the "confit" duck, which is simply roasted and smothered in a heavy sauce). Luckily, they offered a discount. However, we were disappointed to have to pay the à la carte prices instead of the set menu price because of their slow service. We didn't even get to have dessert! In short, a tourist trap that ruined a good part of my day and my vacation.

02/05/2026: A wonderful discovery where the term "Agora" is perfectly apt. Indeed. A quick reminder, if needed: in ancient Greece, the Agora referred to a gathering of citizens and the place where it took place. Well, here you are. All sorts of people mingle here in a joyful and friendly atmosphere. The owner, Mika, with his warm and jovial sense of humor, immediately puts you at ease. In fact, it feels like going for a drink at the home of kind friends. The atmosphere is so welcoming. Everyone feels at home, even if you come alone. People talk to each other simply, with joy and respect. In short: The Place To Be! The only slight drawback is that it might not be wheelchair accessible except on the terrace, but perhaps they have a ramp; I didn't ask. In any case, I enjoyed a delicious coffee and had a very pleasant time. Try it, and you'll love it! Thank you MIKA for welcoming me so warmly, and thank you to your waitress who is very professional and also lovely 😍

06/04/2026: Honestly… this bar-tabac isn't just a place, it's a spiritual experience. You walk in, and you feel like your life is better just by pushing open the door. Even your overdraft hesitates to stay. The atmosphere? So clean you almost want to say hello to the walls. And the owner… well, he's not just a manager, he's a concept. The guy serves you a coffee, and you feel like he's been coaching you for 10 years. He looks at you, he already knows what you want. Before you've even spoken, he's already prepared your pack, your half-pint, and probably sorted out your personal problems. I swear, if all businesses were like this, there wouldn't be any more bad moods in France. Even people who say, "I don't like bars-tabacs"… they come here… and they get an emotional subscription. In short, if you don't go, it means you've voluntarily decided to miss out on happiness. And that, in itself, is a courageous decision.

12/06/2026: Why am I writing this review? I find this restaurant very inconsiderate with extras. For example, I ordered a set menu but didn't order the included dessert. Instead, I asked for a coffee. They charged me extra. Not dishonest, but inconsiderate. As for the food, the cooking wasn't done properly and the dishes were a bit heavy.

12/06/2026: The daily special was fantastic at lunchtime. The dessert and coffee were excellent too! Unbeatable value for money with impeccable service! I'll definitely be back.

It's not just an excellent bar/restaurant; it's also a place where you meet genuine people who love taking care of their customers. 14/04/2026: Family lunch with our children. The restaurant has a hushed and contemporary atmosphere, and the service is efficient and discreet. The food is good and well-executed, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations or surprises we had anticipated from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

In the summer, there's a large garden with tables everywhere for lunch in the sun ☀️. Fresh, high-quality products! Working right next door, it's ideal; I highly recommend it!
