15/03/2024: Magnificent “tapas nocturnal” evening hosted by Kecy O’ Clagan. Great Irish atmosphere with land and sea tapas, cheese, dessert (excellent!). It was great 😁

12/03/2024: One of the best meals of my life! Really. To begin with, the waiter who is adorable (be careful, he makes you want to eat everything, it's terrible!!! but I advise you to follow his advice!!!!) was kind enough to welcome us even though we weren't had not booked (we only spent one day in Caen and it was the Tourist Office which then gave us this magnificent address). Then the succession of starters (tapas that day), meals and dessert were incredible. Everything is excellent, seasonal and regional. A delight indeed! I couldn't describe how much I loved my meal. I plan to return to Caen and I already know where I will eat! Everything is beautiful, good and I was truly satisfied afterwards, I was able to continue my visit to the city. My husband too. The final word ? Don’t do like me: book! I was lucky that there were still two small spaces that day!

28/03/2024: A gourmet that does not lack originality. We move away from the standards when the chef offers us the combination of cauliflower and beer ice cream or coffee and (homemade) calva. An atypical audacity that challenges our taste buds. You may not like it, although personally I am won over. Basically, a 6 or 7 movement menu (= dishes) with possibly a combination of alcohol (wines and spirits) is offered in the evening. Expect around €60 for the menu alone, €40 more with drinks. The service is delicate and attentive, tastes and allergies are taken into account from the moment you arrive. The room offers a modern atmosphere with photographic montages mixing music and cuisine, a cross between two artistic movements. I can only recommend this type of experience, for the love of discovery. 4.9/5

22/03/2024: We leave the restaurant to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary, the waitress who has been warned puts us in an empty room, not very friendly, a discovery meal not up to the price, lack of flavors, not hot and when we have settled, not a word is said to know if we had been satisfied so too bad for us we did better 45 years ago

31/03/2024: Excellent establishment in Vaugueux. The menu is varied, with vegetarian options available. The dishes are generous, the vegetables excellent. The staff is great. The interior is nicely furnished, not too noisy and cozy.

31/03/2024: Hygiene; dirty and stained chair, smelly and dirty toilet. Service ; deplorable, withdrawal of aperitif with delivery of dishes even though we had not finished. Plates served to the wrong people (no other word to express it) and to the wrong people, a plate is even distributed in the kitchen without knowing why. This without excuse or good appetite etc... of course. Young waiter with aggressive look especially during clearing; showing his annoyance and feeling obliged to give him our plates and cutlery because no effort on his part. Likewise when bringing desserts. Service 0. Payment ; similar to a supermarket line, where we are crowded at the entrance with new customers. A scarlet red man in a white shirt at the cash register, unsmiling, makes payments and has unfriendly exchanges with his colleagues. More time waiting to pay than to eat. Meal quality; correct, no taste discovery. A salad leaf as decoration. Summary we arrived at 7:30 p.m. Aperitif, main course, dessert: out 8:45 p.m. Express meal, we absolutely do not recommend on any point.

05/04/2024: It is the only place I visit when I'm in Caen. I am never disappointed. No frills, pleasant style, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. I recommend it without hesitation.
