27/08/2024: Cuisine périgourdine Classique mais pas vraiment généreuse, dans un cadre extérieur jardin pas formidable. Prix trop chers.

28/07/2024: Un restaurant qui est resté dans jus depuis plusieurs décennies. Évidemment c'est ce qu'on aime, un endroit sans chichis, simple et authentique. Une patronne accueillante, un personnel attentionné et gentil. Question cuisine, des produits du Périgord, du marché travaillaient avec passion. Une vraie cuisine de bistrot fait maison et généreuse, loin des attrapes bobo qu'on peut trouver un peu partout aujourd'hui. Je conseille vivement les pieds de cochon farcis au foie gras mais encore la panacotta. Côté vin, une petite carte; mais efficace, nous avons bu un excellent Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil. Merci à ses restaurateurs qui se battent pour de vraies valeurs, sans fioritures et qui nous ont apportés un moment de bonheur. Je conseille fortement.

05/08/2024: Quiet hotel by the river. The boss and staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Possibility of dining in the evening by the water as well as in the morning at breakfast. Pleasant stay, I recommend this establishment without any problem 👍

08/07/2024: L’endroit parfait pour un dîner dans un cadre romantique, sous la forme de planches à déguster, véritable produits locaux. Dans le cas où vous n'auriez plus faim, pas de soucis, on vous propose la boite à emporter. Nous vous recommandons ce lieu absolument.

16/09/2024: Good place to eat typical dishes or whatever. More or less normal prices for this area. Friendly staff. Speed. Nice place and if it's a bit windy better inside. Good wines, but a little overpriced. Dishes very well presented. Pasta, they don't speak Spanish although you can use it if you have a slight knowledge of English.

08/09/2024: Very hot dishes. Morel sauce whose taste you wouldn't guess, duck breast which seems frozen with a pool of blood on the plate and bread from the day before. A waiter says to his colleague discreetly but not enough so that we don't hear: "It's yesterday's bread." His response was to serve him anyway… Too bad

24/05/2024: What can I say about Corinne, A very kind, simple and above all attentive person, She does her best by being alone to offer as many services as possible because it must be said, nowadays, these businesses do not earn hundreds and thousands as they say A good country café style atmosphere is what you look for when you come home. The drinks are very good, I recommend this bar for all the services offered, as do the packages. Trust me, you will never be disappointed.

17/08/2024: 2 stars for the kitchen because nothing justifies the price! 25€ for the Perigourdine salad because of the foie gras “supplement”… The fries are not homemade and that's a shame... Nothing to say about the service, fast and efficient and the place is rather pretty. Can do better!

09/09/2024: 0 Stars, customer communication and stress management training is clearly necessary. Having just arrived in Sarlat, we are looking for a table for 2 with good regional cuisine. The menu tempts us, we enter to the back of the restaurant, completely ignored, we call out to the waitress to ask for a table before giving us a curt and aggressive "NO, SORRY" without any further explanation (I assure you I don't exaggerate the aggressive side). Completely stunned, we headed towards the exit. We still ask if it's not possible and we finally have the explanation that there are only 2 for the service. Indeed while we were ignored we saw the 2 waiters getting angry at each other, the stress was very present. We are human, we are perfectly capable of understanding that your situation is difficult, but it seems to me that it is your job to welcome and communicate properly with your customers. Especially since 50 meters further on we came across a restaurant in the same situation, 2 waiters with I sincerely think at least as many tables to serve and they welcomed us very warmly. In short, we must have encountered a bad day but be careful of the image you convey, for us, it was a very bad experience with your establishment.

11/09/2024: c'est un bon cadeau qui m'a était offert lors de mon départ à la retraite, une très bonne idée car le séjour fut au top (spa, repas et nuit à l'hôte l). C'est la 1ere fois que nous mangions dans un restaurant étoilé et nous n'avons pas été déçu, de l'entrée aux desserts tout a été excellent. A refaire.
