19/08/2023: Hotel very well located and with swimming pool. But it’s a shame that the reception was cold. The room is dilapidated. Flashing lights in the bathroom. 2 small lights on the walls and impossible to read in the evenings. Housekeeping more than mediocre. We were "lucky" to see how it is done: 5 minutes for everything. No washing in the shower, on the floor or on the tables. There was dirt on the table and floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left! We spent 3 days in the hotel. The trash cans in the room are not emptied and reception told us that this was normal because the cleaning lady does not empty them every day! This is the first time we've heard this in a hotel. In short, only “surprises”.

27/08/2024: With all the good will in the world and because I know the restaurant business, owners really need to question themselves. We came confident, we made the effort to stay until the end because we were with children and agreed to pay an unjustified bill but quite honestly what we received on our plates should be controlled. There would be several hygiene and regulatory remarks to review before an accident occurs. Please, for your safety and that of your customers, bring in a restoration professional to give you a fresh start.
27/08/2024: On vous annonce un menu à 20 € entrée plat dessert au choix j’ai pris un pauvre steak frites une glace et une canette de Perrier 25 €. Le Perrier lui seul 5 € c’est regrettable de prendre les gens pour des Américains. La dame a l’air d’apprécier son métier, mais le Monsieur Pense surtout à faire la note. Mal men a pris j’aurais dû voir tous les commentaires avant de pousser la porte. Après il y avait personne dans le restaurant je comprends maintenant. Pourquoi. Le travail de restaurateur se fait sur le long terme et non à court terme….

03/09/2024: Stopped for a light lunch. Lovely welcome, quickly seated despite it being quite busy.
We both enjoyed the flavoursome house pate followed by cheese omelette & a delicious bavette.

08/07/2024: Un petit arrêt à ce Bar Restaurant pour boire un verre en cette journée chaude, l'endroit est propre, bien entretenu et les serveuses sympathiques.
Nous n'y avons pas mangé, peu être le testerais à un prochain passage.
03/07/2024: Très bien. Nous avons attendu qu'une table se libère, et nous ne le regrettons pas, bien au contraire.
Tout était parfait. Et je n'oubli surtout pas le dessert... cette pâte sous la tarte aux agrumes, miam, miam...
Bonne ambiance, le personnel ainsi que les patrons ne s'ennuient pas ! Courage à vous et continuez comme çà !

It's really a shame.

17/11/2024: Absolutely avoid! The food was ok but very small portions. Unthinkable wait between courses: we spent two hours for a simple starter, main course, dessert menu!! In addition it was colder inside than outside and we ate while remaining dressed in our jackets. In addition, the boss was in a very, very bad mood.

15/09/2024: Service très lent ,nous avons attendu 3/4 d ’heures avant d'avoir notre plat chaud et pour le dessert nous avons appelé le serveur pour être servi.l’entée n ’était pas conforme avec ce qui était écrit sur le menu et les aiguillettes de canard était très cuite sans sauce et avaient un drôle de goût, le dessert un gâteau au noix était sec. Très très déçue restaurant à éviter

Don't trust the photos posted online because it had nothing to do with it... foie gras which despite the region was more of a duck mousse, dry confit and tasteless crushed Sarladaise potatoes, the same as the porcini mushroom sauce, tasteless, waffles cold certainly made during the day….in short with all the restaurants at the same prices, this one is not worth it! 1 time not 2!
25/08/2024: We stopped at this restaurant to eat with family. We were placed on the terrace.
Fast service, quality products at an affordable price.
Choice of Périgord menu with starter, main course and dessert.
Children's menu available.

Soyez poli en disant Bonjour à la serveuse aux cheveux noir, sinon elle ne manquera pas de vous le rappeler ( petite remarque à cette dernière : avec le sourire svp, ça passe mieux, le respect, c'est dans les deux sens).
Nous avons pris deux salades. Rapport qualité-prix honnête.
27/08/2024: horrifying Room and dining room dirty and full of spiders and dust. It's not even a 2-star hotel, it doesn't have air conditioning, just 1 fan. The closet is not a closet. The WC in the room without a door, with a dirty fabric curtain. Noises from adjoining rooms and corridors and stairs. The hotel service is rude and only speaks and wants to understand French until you speak in an angry tone with your language they don't lower themselves...

11/08/2024: After asking the waitress for a "CLEAN" glass, the unpleasant and borderline aggressive boss made me wait 15 minutes while I thought out loud and showed off the glass and a cloth...poor woman, you shouldn't have been trader...

I recommend.
11/12/2024: Friendly server. Few options during the week, only the omelette if you don't eat meat. Bad dish of the day: overcooked chicken, hard white beans, lack of taste. A real disappointment. In addition, we are attacked by the boss for daring to ask what was on the menu. Visit not to be repeated.
Besides, we only came there because the good restaurant next door was closed. Really a shame!

There are four of us, and we take the menu at €25 per person.
Waiting, more than half an hour for our drinks to be ordered.
But we don't take our menus at the same time.
We wait again to be asked what we are going to eat.
Two starters of your choice, two main courses of your choice, two desserts of your choice or two salads.
I would like to have three scoops of ice cream for my dessert, rather than two, they refuse me, saying that it will disrupt the organization of the kitchen.

After 1h30, we received our dishes of potatoes and confit duck legs, everything was cold.
As a result of this visit to the restaurant, we left without eating and ended up with a merguez sandwich.
adventure bill €69.90. They ended up making a gesture of €20.
02/07/2024: Decent hotel, although the lawn in front of the swimming pool is not mowed, and no one is there to swim on the terrace. On the other hand, the restaurant is a disaster. 169 euros for 2 for a salmon carpaccio, without salmon. A salad for 24 euros with 3 gizzards, bad foie gras on soft bread, and a tasteless sauce, not to mention the 5 small pieces of pdt cooked in water. Finally a confit which is not a confit but a classic duck leg accompanied by very bad vegetables, including a grainy broccoli puree. The restaurant advertises master restaurateur but when we approach the plate, we discover that it was in 2016. Avoid urgently. I would like to point out that this is the first time we have left such a comment on a restaurant.

Very nice place for a romantic meal.
Their young daughter, we were fortunate to have activities to do.
Very nice family business and well organized.
A little wink, the swallows are our guests on the terrace, this proves that it is a very soothing and caring place ✨✨✨.

08/08/2024: Great welcome, the prices are fair and the place is very pleasant. My wife and I are 65 year old backpackers on motorbikes and places like this suit us perfectly, simplicity at the rendezvous. In short, those for whom this does not suit, go and nestle under a tarpaulin but do not criticize those who work hard to try to offer original things. We will come back to this place because we felt really good there.
