10/08/2024: In fact I went there to attend a concert, otherwise they serve simple meals, steak fries style but good, the beers are super good!

10/08/2024: Super friendly place, super friendly manager, wonderful welcome, meal better than at home, a superb evening with a quality concert, I recommend this amazing place lost in the heart of the Périgord Noir!! Amazing!!!

12/09/2024: Établissement agréable et abrité … oui il pleuvait des cordes. Nous avons déjeuné à l’étage de l’auberge. Personnel souriant et à l’écoute. Nous avons pris des enchauds de porc avec des frites et de la salade. C’était très copieux et le service efficace. Nous avons pris le café dans la salle d’en bas.

14/08/2024: While on vacation, I looked at the reviews and pushed the door open. Honestly not disappointed, welcome. Excellent pizza with fresh products. My son had the children's menu a treat.

31/08/2024: Go to Isabelle's, you will be welcomed as at home. Everything is local, simple but well cooked. Foie gras made by the owner. Single menu by reservation only. A place like we don't have anymore.

20/08/2023: We had a pleasant stay at Céline’s! Originally planned for 3 nights, we were able to book 1 additional night once we were there when we saw the amount of sightseeing to do in the area. Ideally located, this accommodation perfectly meets the basic criteria of accommodation and the swimming pool (small for some but sufficient to relax after a day of walking) is appreciable. The accommodation is clean, ideally located 5 minutes by car from the center of Sarlat. In addition, Céline is a very welcoming host and available to answer any questions. We felt confident and it was with pleasure that we shared this address with our loved ones.

22/09/2024: A really lovely evening spent enjoying the finest food and wines. We felt like we’d been invited to dine in a friend’s home. Understated decor and delightful service. It was a nice touch to have an open kitchen. Our only considerations might be to dim the lights for dinner? And have some choice instead of a set menu (the veal and frai gras were delicious but despite visiting this region many are ethically put off eating it?) Thank you for a gourmet evening we would recommend to anyone who finds themselves nearby…

17/08/2024: La meilleure planche de charcuterie et de fromages qui m’ait été donné de goûter dans le secteur. Du plus que local, bien de là-bas, aux goûts sublimes. J’ai adoré et cela m’a réconciliée avec bon nombre d’attrape-touristes du secteur. Merci à ce monsieur, qui a enchanté nos papilles. P.S.: Nous n'avions plus faim mais la foule s'arrêtait pour déguster des glaces maison qui semblaient succulentes

This is the place where the terroir comes to life in the town of Bourdeilles with a magnificent view of the castle, a magical interior courtyard. An establishment with soul. Exceptional cuisine and quality artisanal ice creams. A place for connoisseurs and very affordable.

17/09/2024: We had lunch and discovered the search for truffles with Eric, Laetitia and their dog. Welcoming, available, they answered all our questions and prepared us a delicious meal based on truffles. Éric is a cook and Laetitia a pastry chef: perfect! The value for money is great We recommend 👍

14/09/2024: Quiet place with swimming pool. Pleasant, welcoming owners who are passionate about their job. Very interesting visit to the truffle farm.

31/08/2024: L'attitude de la servante(ou maitraisse) a ete vraiment deplaisante. Nous avions demande une table pour six personnes et, au moment de nous asseoir, un group d'amis s'est approche pour nous poser quelques questions. Elle a suppose qu'ils voulaient s'asseoir avec nous et elle s'est introduit dans notre conversation, nous a coupe en disant qu'elle ne servirai pas un group aussi grand (ce que nous n'avions pas pretendu). Nous sommes tous quiter l'endroit.

29/08/2024: Le pido a la encargada una mesa para seis personas y nos sentamos. Al poco rato aparecen en la mesa nuestros hijos con los nietos, que se dirigían a comer a otro restaurante, y en ese momento se nos echa encima la encargada diciendo, de muy malas maneras, que no está dispuesta a dar de comer a tanta gente. El caso es que ni lo iban a hacer ni se lo habíamos pedido. Lo peor fue las pésimas maneras con las que se dirigió a nosotros. Naturalmente, ante esa hostilidad gratuita nos levantamos y nos fuimos. Afortunadamente es un hecho aislado en un país donde le dan mucha importancia a las buenas maneras. Tuvo su consecuencia positiva porque nos fuimos al «  Café de la place «  donde nos recibieron como es costumbre en Périgord y comimos magnificamente. Un lamentable episodio de mala educación y posiblemente de xenofobia.
