15/08/2024: Original menu, mix of flavors and spices! Everything is cooked! No frozen or processed products. Authentic cuisine. I recommend it for a professional meal or with friends.

14/07/2026: Visited Le Buisson-de-cadouin to watch the tour de france and loved our stay here. The family who run the hotel are lovely people who have obviously put their heart and soul into providing a great service and restoring this grand hotel. We felt so welcomed and accommodated for during our stay. If you are looking for modern and beige I would look elsewhere but if you are wanting an authentic beautiful hotel with quirks and quintessential French charm then look no further. The grounds are beautiful and well kept overlooking the River with oriental gardens and buildings throughout. The room we stayed in had a large king size bed, en suite with bath, shower and full length mirror and excellent air-con - the bed was so comfortable I genuinely believe it may have been the best night of sleep I have ever had.

13/08/2024: Bar à éviter. Serveur très froid (à l'image du patron). Nous commandons des bières et sirops qui n'existent que sur la carte (30 mn d'attente pour nous dire ceci !!). Aucun geste commercial du patron. Un conseil changez de bar.

02/08/2024: Super mooie plek maar helaas een slechte bediening. 1 dame die alles doet. 2 jonge gasten die geen ervaring hebben. Lang wachten voordat je geholpen wordt. Lunch was kwalitatief slecht. Droog vlees, niet warm en doorgekookte groente. Aardappels niet gaar en friet te kort gebakken. Je kunt beter bij de buren eten.

11/08/2024: Très belle surprise Cadre au top, et cuisine de très bon niveau. Restaurant vraiment surprise avec un personnel très agréable

07/08/2024: Table réservé par internet et confirmée par téléphone. Accueil simple et discret. Carte simple avec peu de choix mais qualité au rdv. Planche canard à ne pas manquer ( figue fourree au fois gras en particulier) Cuisson parfaite des plats. Assaisonnement nickel. Bref bonne adresse

Armande guided us expertly on everything from the main courses and side dishes to the desserts and the overall organization. The meal was excellent, and our guests complimented us on it, particularly praising the exceptional quality of the beef tenderloin. We highly recommend this caterer; they will delight your taste buds. Thank you again to them.

18/06/2026: L'Armandine catered our wedding on June 13th, and it was a complete success. From the cocktail hour to the meal, everything was delicious and plentiful, with the main course cooked to a perfect pink and arriving on the plates at just the right temperature for 100 guests. The staff were discreet and pleasant. Thank you for contributing to the success of this event and the satisfaction of our guests. Keep up the good work!

13/07/2024: L’air de campagne ne reflète pas ce qu’il promet. Les plats régionaux étaient convenables mais sans surprises. Et l’accueil froid et hautain nous a glacé, un mauvais moment passé dans cet endroit mal placé pour une addition salée. Ne vaut pas le détour.

18/08/2024: Je cherchais un restaurant authentique avec des prix raisonnables. Ce fut Le Croquant et son menu de produits régionaux à seulement 19 euros pour une entrée, un plat et un dessert. Et le goût y est ! Le gaspacho de tomates jaunes était succulent et le dessert donnait des envies de "reviens-y". Quant au service, il était souriant et efficace. J'y retournerai.

10/08/2024: Tres bon restaurant à des prix sympas. Produits locaux, possibilité de boire du vin de la région sans sulfite. Le chef vient discuter avec les clients.
