07/08/2024: Très bon, rapport qualité prix très intéressant, serveuse très sympa et efficace, cependant il manque un peu de lumière mais je recommande :)

I wish you behave better, you are not alone on the road and you are not exempt from speed limits. The road is not a playground, go show off your misplaced virility elsewhere.

12/10/2024: One chilly October evening, as a couple, we found a warm oasis! Smiling welcome; we are installed among local customers (proof of our good choice!) A Périgord menu with a block of very good quality foie gras (with pieces). Hot for one and candied for the other. Very generous and well prepared plates. For dessert, an excellent homemade chocolate nut financier. Certainly, not much choice but that guaranteed us excellent cuisine, simple and well done as is becoming rare. Impeccable and attentive service. Well done to the team!

12/09/2024: Nous sommes revenus malgré une première expérience décevante. L'attente avant la commande, pendant le repas entre chaque plat , le service complètement désorganisé bien que 2 jeunes serveurs aient transgressé la règle "je sers mais ne prend pas les commandes..."sinon nous serions restés 3 heures1/2 à table. La nourriture était correcte mais les portions inégales si 3 convives prenaient le même plat. Personnel débordé pas de sourire pas de suivi des plats même pas à la caisse. Le pompon c'est lorsqu'on voit apposé sur le mur d'entrée l'adoubement par Gault et Millau de table gourmande. Qui est venu visiter cet établissement ? Nous n'étions pas les seuls mécontents. En tout cas nous ne reviendrons plus.

A second vaulted room which contains the oenological treasures of the restaurant is convivial for more intimate evenings. 23/04/2024: Little discovery last year. I recommend it if you are in Bergerac, the food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. The waitresses are very pleasant and the chef does not hesitate to come and see if everything suits you.

11/09/2024: We’ve enjoyed many lunches here over the years holidaying in the region. You don’t need to visit the gardens to enjoy the restaurant. On a wet day it’s perfect for a lunch with a beautiful view and on a sunny day - visit the gardens before or after lunch. Sunny days a meal on the terrace, wet are best indoors with the panoramic windows. The limited menu is all local ingredients - a la maison - think that’s what it means! Anyway, the food is excellent. The staff are fabulous, great fun and very professional. We enjoyed burgers, omelettes & cafe gourmond.

17/08/2024: Déjeuner dans un beau cadre avec des plats bienfaits et un service rapide et efficace. Mise en place de la table rapide avec une chaise enfant mise à disposition pour un enfant de 3 ans.

03/09/2024: If you like garlic, Sarladaise potatoes, porcini mushrooms and sweetbreads, this house is worth the detour. I recommend without reservation.
