20/09/2026: This restaurant is lovely, the welcome is warm, you feel right at home! And the food is of impeccable quality, a small menu but lots of flavor. I highly recommend it!

16/09/2026: A family/working-class restaurant, but very authentic, 'honest', and delicious food... A fixed menu, but we were lucky with the pâté (homemade?) hors d'oeuvres as a starter, the (top-notch) liver as a main course, and a top-notch chocolate mousse (homemade?) as dessert + coffee... With a half-liter of white wine to go with it... 42 euros / 2p, that's something you can only dream of in Belgium! ... Big thanks, Maxime!

26/05/2026: We had lunch at the farm inn; its name is perfectly fitting. We discovered authentic and delicious cuisine, the place is peaceful and imbued with a gentle way of life, and nature is omnipresent. Come and recharge your batteries without hesitation.

26/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery, this haven of peace nestled in a superb green setting. The interior design is perfectly in keeping with this, with its omnipresence of warm wood. The cuisine is equally delightful, featuring a wide variety of farm-fresh produce, and the service is exceptionally pleasant. In short, a place to enjoy without hesitation!

27/10/2026: In the heart of the village, this restaurant is run by a friendly couple. It's a very welcoming place. The clientele is local and also friendly. The food is excellent. During several cycling trips, we received a very warm welcome. We look forward to returning to this restaurant!

06/10/2026: Set menu of the day - starter, main course, cheese, dessert For €19: seafood casserole, steak with potatoes and mixed vegetables, cheese, and strawberry rolls. Well-prepared traditional cuisine. Excellent service, pleasant terrace (watch out for falling chestnuts 🤣🤣) and a lovely setting with a view of Belvoir Castle. Weekdays only, set menus available; we'll be back to try the regular menu. If you have time, stop by the Jonquilles farm and buy some homemade ice cream—bring a cooler! 🤪👍

The value for money is outstanding, allowing you to treat yourself without any unpleasant surprises. The welcome is warm, genuine, and friendly, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend!

28/09/2026: Having not been for a while, I noticed many changes, and overall they are very positive! We do, however, miss the tablecloths a little, as well as the previous choice between two set menus. Now, there is only one menu, although the option to order à la carte remains. The dishes offered à la carte are quite similar to those on the set menu, with one exception. On the other hand, a real thumbs up for the service: impeccable from start to finish. The time allotted for aperitifs was respected, as was the pace between courses, without ever feeling rushed. The staff is very attentive to the customers, which makes the experience particularly pleasant. As for the food, the dishes are excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Perhaps a little more effort could be made with the presentation of some of the starters, particularly the mushroom tart, but this is a minor point considering the overall quality. We had a wonderful evening in a pleasant atmosphere, enjoying excellent food and attentive service. We are happy to recommend this place… and we will definitely be back very soon!

Special mention for the Guinness: it's truly excellent. Having been to Ireland before, I can assure you it's of very high quality. Quick announcement: if any of you saw an "Estonia" cap, it's mine; I lost it that evening. Please drop it off at the bar in La Bousse-Note. Philippe
