14/03/2024: The best pastries in Colmar but their homemade chocolates are really good.

02/02/2024: We went in to have a coffee in Colmar. We had a latte and a croissant. I really liked the place. There were little sweets and handmade chocolates. We bought an order for two and a chocolate bar and paid 17.80 Euros.

03/04/2024: It was absolutely superb. We have been traveling through France now for ten days and had some great food but this was our favorite spot I especially loved the Jerusalem artichokes, so much I ordered two plates!! My husband, and teenage daughter were also very happy with all the plates and we all know how hard is to make kids happy! Excellent restaurant, excellent service and amazing food. I will come back to Colmar just so I can eat here again!!

24/03/2024: I knew this restaurant because I lived on rue des Augustins right next door. The atmosphere was more charcuterie and cheese planchas, well-chosen glasses of wine. I returned this week and then, a huge culinary slap in the face. I already recognized a waiter who had served my table at Chambard when he brought me the first drink. We talk and the restaurant has been taken over by a former cook from JY’s “next door”. In short, 5 dishes to share for €30 per person plus dessert. This evening, kiwi, vanilla cottage cheese and bread crumble to accompany. It came after multiple dishes (beetroot in blueberry vinaigrette, grilled Jerusalem artichokes with fresh Munster cheese and spicy sauce, carrots and cream cheese, Asian-seasoned tartare, smoked trout with very good vegetables under a sheet of rice. Indecent for the price, it's you who commits the heist of the century by going to eat there. I will definitely go once in the next few weeks. A great proposal!

10/05/2024: A cozy atmosphere but without being stuffy, helped by a quality 70's soundtrack. The welcome and service were perfect for our evening. The quality of the dishes served was worthy of a Michelin star. Example with a dessert based on asparagus or even the duo of strawberry and beetroot. There is no doubt that the restaurant's young chef will quickly make a name for himself.

22/01/2024: When you have to give a gift, for exiled Alsatians in other regions, or to introduce you to Alsatian specialties, the Alsatian biscuit factory is always a favorite address. As far as I am concerned, I always use this address, where the products are of high quality and extremely tasty. This afternoon, I had four boxes of cakes made up, and was served by a saleswoman of extreme delicacy, politeness and kindness that I would like to emphasize. When I asked her her nickname, she told me Grace! Sincerely, the first name was chosen, and I wanted to congratulate the management for their choice of caring and competent staff. A totally satisfied customer.

The roasted duck filet with green asparagus and strawberry tartare was an imaginative combination, with the spelt and Parmesan providing a satisfying texture. Desserts were equally impressive, starting with L'insolite hibiscus, Framboise et laurier, a creation of hibiscus, raspberry, and bay leaf, which was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The finale, Douceur de rhubarbe et mascarpone, Jus de rhubarbe rouge et sorbet riesling à la vanille, offered a delicate rhubarb and mascarpone dessert, with a Riesling sorbet that added a touch of sophistication. 02/05/2024: Tasty well prepared grilled meat, Welcoming service, reasonable prices. The restaurant is a bit crowded since there are so many tables with very little distance one from another (and they are all fully booked) Every meat dish comes with salad and french fries

01/04/2024: Very nice discovery for us Colmarians, the waiter is great, the cuisine uses very good, fresh and quality products. It's been a long time since we've had such good tarte flambées. Congratulations to the whole team, we will come back and in force!!!!
