The cuisine is authentic, generous, and perfectly executed—and their homemade cordon bleu is simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and prepared with true expertise! Highly recommended!

17/03/2026: We came here because of the excellent reviews and we weren't disappointed. Everything was wonderful... snails, oysters, freshly prepared steak tartare, etc. The service was also very attentive. In short, we had a wonderful evening here.

03/01/2026: We made a last-minute reservation and got a table. We received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent and well-paced, and the owner had a friendly, witty remark and a genuine desire for quality. We ordered two set menus: starter, main course, and dessert, including gratinated scallops, sauerkraut, and trout, followed by a sorbet with a generous splash of liqueur and a chestnut tart. The large dining room was beautifully decorated with ample space between the tables, creating a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. We have no regrets and will definitely return, especially since the menu changes regularly!

22/11/2024: Very good pastry shop in Colmar I went to this pastry shop with my girlfriend during a Colmar day. The restaurant is located along the avenue that leads from the train station to the historic center. Outside there are tables and some parking with parking discs. The interior is large and displays many pastry products. We had éclairs and a sweet chocolate escargot. The pastas were delicious and very tasty. The prices are honest considering the high quality of the products.

28/03/2026: A quick stop during a trip with my partner, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the food, both of which were as charming and enjoyable as the setting itself. 03/01/2026: The location is beautiful and ideally situated at the entrance to Colmar's pedestrian zone and opposite the Unterlinden Museum. In this beautifully decorated old Alsatian house, you'll find a very pleasant atmosphere, spread across several dining rooms. The service is very quick and aims to be courteous, but seems rather overly familiar, even rushed. The selection is limited, the prices are reasonable, but it's far from fine dining. It's not a tourist trap either, but it's still quite average. The upside is that they can only improve.

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great. The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all. Very quick and friendly service. Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.

04/01/2026: By far the best food we’ve had on our trip around Europe in the past 2 weeks. Arriving at the restaurant itself at night through the vineyards alone was already a uniquely fun experience. Their braised ham was cooked to absolute perfection(well worth the extra wait required), the black angus steak was also juicy and perfectly flavoured… If this was located in a touristy part of town they’d have 2 hour lineups for sure, but I sure am glad that this is a hidden gem.

22/12/2025: The best surprises are often the ones you stumble upon by chance. Discovered on my way back from the Colmar market, trying to escape the tourist traps and crowds. A lovely time spent enjoying traditional home-style cooking and professional, efficient service. Looking forward to returning next time.

23/03/2026: Positive points: - Original ice cream flavors (acai, black sesame, etc.) that are good and not too sweet - A desire to source directly from local artisans - An eco-friendly approach for health too (plastic ice cream tubs that I recycle, no lids for takeaway drinks) - Open on Sundays Drawbacks: - Credit cards only accepted for purchases over €10, while other quality coffee shops have opened and accept them for less - The price of the flat white with plant-based milk has increased (€5.50), which I understand, but it will quickly strain my budget, in addition to its small size - It's not possible to sit inside in the afternoon, but it's no longer possible - The interior space is small, so I never sit down, but there's nothing they can do about it Suggestions: - For the eco-friendly approach: offer a discount to those who bring their own mug? - Offer a loyalty program, which would be appreciated by locals?
