30/11/2025: We went to Cocagne for lunch with friends today for my birthday, and like every other time, it was perfect.
A warm welcome, a delicious meal, and on top of that, the owner offered us a cake for dessert.
What more could you ask for to have a wonderful birthday!
A fantastic team at this great family restaurant!

10/07/2026: A fantastic experience! We're vegetarians, we called about a week in advance and received a completely customized menu! The flavors, the textures... We discovered a very rich and sophisticated vegetarian cuisine.
The house cocktail was also excellent.
(And it's very accessible from Escalquens train station.)
09/07/2026: Was I refused because I'm allergic to tomatoes or because my husband is vegetarian? I don't know. In any case, it's the first time a restaurant has ever refused my reservation after I left a message explaining my tomato allergy and my vegetarianism! And they call themselves gourmet! A true gourmet chef knows how to adapt by cooking two vegetables and an egg, and even make a beautiful dish out of it!

Invited by friends, we were quite disappointed with the quality and service, especially considering the prices. Let me explain: two beef fillets were 36 euros each, and two desserts were 15 euros each—nothing fancy. Yes, it was good, but far too expensive for what you get. I'm being honest, but as you can see in the photo, it was a bit messy and nowhere near as good as fine dining for the same price.
14/08/2025: A wonderful discovery thanks to a gift certificate! We chose the four-course menu and everything was delicious, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. The place is calm and pleasant. Special mention to the service: Sandra and the young waiter were lovely, attentive, and very professional. We highly recommend it and can't wait to discover the new location!

10/07/2026: Very disappointed. My beef tartare was unusually dark. When I pointed it out, I was told it was due to the kitchen's secret sauce. However, as I was leaving, I saw another tartare that was bright red. The waitress should have sent my dish back to the kitchen instead of leaving it with me. I only ate part of it and left a quarter of the plate. I left with serious doubts about the freshness of the meat and I hope I don't get sick. I definitely don't recommend it; it's a real shame.

29/06/2026: A reservation for 10 people for a birthday celebration. Everything went very well. Commitments were kept, the meal was enjoyable, and the service was excellent.
22/06/2026: We stopped at 1:30 pm on a sweltering Monday. The air conditioning was so welcome. We received a warm welcome and were offered a refreshing and generous salad as our main course. It was delicious. Thank you. I highly recommend it.

12/04/2026: Disappointing, if you can read! Looking at the chalkboard listing the origins of the meats: chicken from Poland, beef from the Netherlands, and so on, only the ground beef is French... You wonder if the side dishes aren't from the local supermarket... The welcome is, admittedly, friendly, but that's about it... Thanks for supporting our French farmers, but it's true that you only eat there for the price... From now on, I'm giving it a miss!

The bread was stale, the duck breast overcooked, the foie gras tasteless, the potatoes were so garlicky they didn't even taste like potatoes anymore, and even the floating island dessert was rubbery.
