Very good products, fresh and tasty, with good homemade foie gras, quantity and quality.
Good value for money and good welcome. A good address.
Surprised to see that the bad reviews do not relate to the quality of the cuisine, which is the fundamental assessment criterion.

02/06/2024: Simple, practical, friendly and economical hotel for our cycling stopover on the mountain bike tour of Serre Ponçon lake. I recommend ! Room with a view of the snow-capped mountains as a bonus ;-)
28/03/2024: No catering, no breakfast, you have to go to the Italian restaurant opposite... Aging room, broken shutter, rusty radiator... Ok, there is TV and a bed!!! That's all... Avoid!!!

The welcome from the only server was excellent, professional and friendly. Being alone he has to run everywhere but he listens when ordering.
We are on vacation so we can wait a lot and it wasn't that long.
More demanding tourists can refrain from going there!
We had a great time. Good luck to the staff for this season.
06/08/2024: Average but acceptable food. The problem is at the service level. Orders are taken twice and it seems to annoy the boss that we don't respond more quickly and that we send back an unordered coffee. Unfriendly welcome. So avoid it. FYI: the reception at certain neighboring terraces is very good….
As for the aggressive response, it only reinforces my opinion!

Rooms haven't been renovated for 50 years. No water pressure, showering not possible, only brown sauce instead of hot water. Not clean, carpet can only be walked on with shoes. I didn't take a closer look at the bed, what I saw was enough. Everything run down. It's cheap, but that's too much. Restaurant overprices a beer 10 euros, food also expensive, good is also a wish there. Even the friendliness that would cost nothing falls by the wayside. One night was enough, never again!
25/08/2024: Dilapidated and dirty rooms, the photos I posted are of how I found the room, it seemed that someone had been there before me and the cleaning had not been carried out. Hair and hair in the sink, peeling walls, glass windows so dirty that it was almost impossible to to look out. They made me pay at check in because if I had seen the room before paying I would have left. I'm an idiot for not reading the reviews! Luckily I didn't have dinner or breakfast!

I took the mountain salad for 18 euros, I was expecting good products but no, between three radishes and a piece of carrot grated with a mandolin, there was goat cheese in a log (I even got the right to the 'entame, thank you), reblochon and supermarket raclette cheese. inedible stuff in a salad, then. tomatoes: basic and tasteless. 18 euros for a salad, don't give a damn. When I said it, they didn't even question it. my partner: 23 euros a plate with chicken, 3 potatoes and salad... that's the problem with restaurateurs: there are some who do it with heart and who are keen to cook with beautiful products and quality. others who are only there to make money. In short, not a place to recommend, and I agree with the previous comments on the state of the toilets.

19/03/2024: The only recent decorative work is the installation of spider webs!!! the description of the room corresponds in every way to that given to me by my parents who came in 1962
The only thing that is up to date is the price of the room!!! very excessive compared to the service offered (€548.30 for 4 nights) for 2 people without breakfast, just 8 coffees.
Too bad to offer such a mediocre service in such a beautiful place
Alone, the feminine rim reserves you a warm welcome.

Vous aurez affaire à une équipe de guignols comme rarement vous verrez.
Le patron vous vend du rêve, ne se remet jamais en question et est de mauvaise foi.
Les fils derrière le bar sont une blague, ne changez pas de patron les gars, vous ne feriez pas 2 jours dans un vrai resto.
Très mauvaise expérience, je déconseille fortement cet attrape touriste, qui devrait fermer !!!!!
06/04/2024: 3rd time in 3 years, in 2022 niquel, last year already disappointed but this evening the same.
We had a raclette, potatoes which tasted more like water than potatoes, a tasteless raclette cheese, even the one from Intermarché was better.
I wanted to go back there to please but I understand more and more that it is the only restaurant that is not full in Risoul on a Saturday evening.. The Christmas decorations with another tree on 06/04 leaves something to be desired. Unfortunately I won't be going back there again, really disappointed in terms of the food, but fortunately the service is going up there again.

We probably tell ourselves that the next gust of wind or the next rain will make all this disappear. Or perhaps we say more simply that the important thing is that the waste is no longer on the terrace...

Friendly staff and quick service even though the rooms were full with several groups.
Restaurant to recommend and we will come back.

24/09/2024: A heavenly place to stop for a break, but be careful, it's better to be prepared, because the service is of the "rough" type, under the background of grumbling between the grandpa who does the service and his wife who cooks and who puts impossible pressure on him, it's laughable and many of us were bursting with laughter on the terrace to see them both grumbling... Still, the porcini mushroom omelettes were excellent and the blueberry tart idem!

When paying I ask to pay by credit card, the waiter tells me it's more expensive! We think it's a joke but no he tells me that if I don't pay in cash it's €26!!
