17/08/2024: I'm disappointed. I ate with my colleague. We were placed under an umbrella without light. During the day it's good, but in the evening it's not great. We had a duck breast. It was just lukewarm. It's a shame.

23/03/2024: Really good restaurant to enjoy an evening with friends. Traditional food from a relatively small menu (excluding pizza menu), dishes were full of flavour, well presented and quickly served. You definitely need to make a reservation, especially at the weekends, it’s cash only but worth a visit, enjoy a shot of Genevieve with the owner at the end of your meal.

28/08/2024: During our itinerant this summer, we stopped at the beginning of July to have breakfast (the only café open at this time) and a sandwich before starting the very long stage to go to the Fonts de Cervière refuge and we were right. We have already been very well received by the boss (very friendly) and the breakfast was very good and very generous. Likewise, we really enjoyed the sandwich that we ate at Lake Malrif (finally reached!) It was very good and very, very generous! Everything we needed to perk up and reach the refuge! A big thank you for your welcome (and the little crunchies too)! We will come back with pleasure.

04/09/2024: Un seul mot: VOLEURS . Déjà de ne pas être agréable ce sont des voleurs . Nous sommes allé prendre le était déjeuner nous avons commander 2 formules petit déjeuner + un diabolo pêche . À peine servît que le serveur revient et nous demande de régler . Et voilà le problème on nous annonce 34€50 , j’étais entrain de manger du coup je n’ai pas fait attention à la note . Mon mari s’en rend compte 2 minutes plus tard. On dit au serveur qu’il a nous a compté 3 formules au lieu de 2 car le petit déjeuner est inscrit à 10€ sur la carte. Il nous dit que non le petit déjeuner est à 15€ . Pardon 15€ pour deux tartine de pains et une boisson chaude ?? Et quand je lui dit que le prix est bien noté à 10€ il dit qu’il n’ont juste pas changé le prix . Mais monsieur règle de la vente : tout prix affiché doit être appliqué . Il n’a juste pas voulut admettre son erreur qui est humaine. Nous y retournerons pas et ne recommandons pas ce restaurant. Nous aurions dû retourner à celui qui se trouve à leur gauche la patronne est très agréable souriante et leur petit déjeuner est à 8€90 avec viennoiseries et boissons fraîches comprise.

03/09/2024: Nous cherchions un restaurant un dimanche et c'était le seul ouvert, dernier jour en fin de saison. Très bon accueil. Plats très copieux. Serveur super sympathique et efficace, ainsi que la patronne.

09/09/2024: A late arrival around 3:00 p.m., we asked what we could eat hot and he offered us a very nice dish, rice pilaf and chicken fillet with coconut sauce... Excellent...the gentleman was helpful and given that he can only serve with one hand, well done the place is busy but it is a pleasant house.

04/09/2024: A small restaurant, overlooking the lake of serpents, shady, too cute. Served by an extraordinary gentleman, I take my hat off to him. Very very good eating

21/03/2024: We ate a very good raclette, friendly staff, and as a result we ate on the terrace at midday, a very good hearty meal in the sun by the slopes

04/05/2024: Je me suis rendu à l’écureuil avec des amis. Nous avons été accepté en coupe vent. Le restaurant est une usine et veut uniquement vous faire payer le plus vite possible. Serveuse très peu aimable. Enfin, ils n’ont même pas voulus diviser l’addition, une situation délicate pour des étudiants. À éviter.

15/09/2024: How come this restaurant still has the Flunch brand? Very unpleasant staff..... Cooking not respected..... And the all-you-can-eat buffet is worth seeing!!!! Damage !!!

22/08/2024: I note here the restoration only. Evening meal with friends after a long route on Ailefroide. The place is ideally located, at the foot of the tracks, close to the car parks. The service is friendly. A meal that leaves no particular memory. Meat served without sauce (not even a little shallot sauce…). Standard “industrial” fries. Still nice soups as starters, homemade panacotas appreciated. Value for money just OK for the menu at €24. It's honest, nothing more.

17/03/2024: Pure 5 out of 5 experience, authentic genuine charm, enthusiasm exuded by chef proprietor from Italy, who has adapted magnificently to French cuisine, truly best of both worlds! Makes you feel like one of the family, charming dog and wife completes the already perfect scene! And to top it all off, we were having problems with our payment card, to which the kind gentleman responded by saying that if it didn't work he would trust us to pay if we ever passed through again.. extreme generosity!
