04/08/2026: This restaurant, run by a non-profit organization, helps young apprentices in the restaurant industry retrain for new careers. The chef is excellent in her customer service, and the young staff are highly professional, both in the dining room and kitchen. The dishes are delicious, made with local and seasonal ingredients, and the menu changes weekly to reflect current tastes and seasonal produce. If you're in Rennes for a short or long stay, don't hesitate to visit. Located in the Cleuney district (metro stop B), enjoy your meal! Call to reserve. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for lunch.

31/07/2026: Restaurant at the far end of the industrial park. Not exactly easy to get to, especially with the hotel next door. The decor is nice: chairs, tables, lighting... As for the food, the menu is rather standard. Nothing extraordinary or out of the ordinary. We found it a bit of a shame that when the menu was brought to us, the daily special wasn't suggested. Our meals were simple fish and chips and a butcher's cut of meat. The butcher's cut of meat was a bit tough. The Melba ice cream was a bit pricey for those mass-produced curls with strawberries and industrial whipped cream. It's a good option in this industrial park. Not very busy because of the holidays, and the service was quite fast. It's cool.

08/08/2026: A small restaurant in a great location right on the beach, with a lovely sea view. The service was adequate, but the food was truly disappointing: three scoops of supermarket ice cream and a frozen crepe—in Brittany, that's shameful! I absolutely do not recommend it for a gourmet break.

24/07/2026: Please note that credit card payments are not accepted for amounts under €10. Personally, the galette was good, but the mushrooms on top were burnt.

16/08/2026: A lovely discovery! This small, unpretentious crêperie in Cancale has a shaded terrace open until 1:30 pm. The welcome and service were impeccable. The crêpes are delicious; I had the Cancalaise 😋 I highly recommend it. In peak season, be sure to book ahead.

14/07/2026: We regularly go to CHASNE and it's always a pleasure. The welcome is warm, the staff are friendly, and the service is attentive. The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. It's a welcoming place where you feel comfortable, whether with family or friends. We highly recommend it.

12/07/2026: The owner (great sense of humor) and staff form a great company: paying attention, being alert and very(!) friendly. All and all a A+ for hospitality. Than dinner. This was beyond expectations. I did not know what to expect (maybe just a nice dinner), but the cook really knows how to make the best out of it. Original and delicious. A Bib Gourmand would defitintly be a merit. Suggestion: no airco = perfectly fine for us. But a fan would be nice 😉

20/08/2026: During my trip to Fougeres, France, we went to the Tante Suzette restaurant twice with my family for food, dessert, and wine. The memory of the pleasure of my trip with the taste of the many dishes we ate at that restaurant is unforgettable. The taste, the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the very friendly and polite attitude of the restaurant patron, was very pleasant for us. I hope we will eat at the Tante Suzette restaurant again.

15/08/2026: I'm giving it one star, but only for the cook. The older gentleman who seems to be the owner is pleasant with the customers, but that's about it. Since the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant, we witnessed the owner reprimanding the cook… There are dirty cutlery and plates on the empty tables. The galettes are more expensive and not necessarily better than at other crêperies a little further down the road. I don't really recommend this restaurant and I wish the cook good luck.
