Very good, quality and very generous pancakes and pancakes for a more than reasonable price (goumande pancake + dessert pancake + drink < €20 per person). Fast service. The chef and his wife in the dining room are very kind and attentive. Thank you again for this good time and look forward to our next visit to Rennes. The people of Tours.

05/09/2024: Stayed 5 nights in middle of August - coffee & breakfast were good, the room was OK apart from the shower cubicle being very small and the shower head had to stay still or it fell off the wall. The toilet stunk of stale urine, needed a good bleaching around the rim! When we booked, we were NOT told that the bar and restaurant would be closed during our stay - misrepresentation there from Monsieur Basil Fawlty (proprietor). It was reasonably priced though so you get what you pay for I suppose. Dinard is an absolutely lovely town.

07/08/2024: Very good time spent at the terrace table of this small hotel restaurant, the service is quality and the welcome is festive and friendly. The small downside during our lunch is the quality of the wine (carafe) served at the table.

25/08/2024: Big problem with cleanliness… While waiting to be served we have a view of the serving pass and the place where the plates are set up, the plates are waiting with their salad right next to the dish and dirty rags… a dirty rag thrown on the work surface even touched the contents of one of the plates. A dirty mop will remain on the floor in front of the counter for the duration of our service. We had the good idea to go to the toilet at the end of our meal… we would have gone there before ordering, we would have run away. Worse than public toilets. A smell and dirt that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. A trash can so full that everything is overflowing (given the size of the trash and the time we went there, 7 p.m., it wasn't from that day...) soaked paper on the floor around the toilet and everything was very dirty (the hand towel dispenser must never have seen a sponge or cloth in his life). I'll spare you all the details, it was just disgusting (in these cases you wonder what state the kitchen is in...) The staff is just pleasant. We clear our table before everyone has finished their plate. We have the impression that the staff in the room just don't want to be there. As for the plates, the portions are copious but we preferred two slices of salmon rather than 3 slices of smoked trout, especially when we order a salmon crepe... the ingredients are not of great quality and it's a bit bathed in cream. ... in short, we won't come back to it obviously.

23/08/2024: This is a very harsh rating and describes an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone, especially when you're booking for your birthday. Our friend calls 2 weeks before to book and we explain to her that it is not possible before 10 p.m., she understands and therefore refuses, because it is too late. Finally we tell him that it will be OK for 9:30 p.m. Once there, we sat down at the table after 10 p.m.: they therefore knew very well that it would not be possible for 9:30 p.m. but did not want to refuse a table and lose revenue. Conclusion we sat down at 10:15 p.m. on a table of six people even though there were nine of us, we were extremely tight, uncomfortable and right in the middle of the passage to go to the kitchen, constantly bothered by the waiters. And what can we say about the not very friendly service: honestly we were bothering everyone.. This is simply unacceptable. And finally, since that's also what counts, in terms of the plates, no interest, pleasure or particular flavor... with plates that are frankly not very generous for bistro cuisine! Their drinks, including natural wine, were good. The icing on the cake, when paying, the waitress added a tenth dish (not taken) to the bill, it was the boss who had to intervene to solve the problem. No clearly this address was the last time!

13/08/2024: Very good restaurant, we were able to have lunch on the terrace, the waitress was smiling and friendly. The choices on the slate are quite varied, the service was quick. And the dishes are really excellent, I had a cod fillet with ratatouille and pesto sauce, the fish was undoubtedly very fresh and perfectly cooked, and the ratatouille was also very well cooked. The quantities are quite generous. I highly recommend and would love to come back!

29/09/2024: Too great! You arrive at the announced opening time, shop door open; we tell you that in fact it’s not the right time and to come back at 10 a.m. You come back at 10 a.m., you order waffles; we tell you “well no I don’t have any waffle batter”; you say it doesn’t matter we’ll have pancakes; and then they tell you “I’m not sure I have pancake batter”! And basically you have to come back 1.5 to 2 hours later... we didn't understand the concept... how is it possible that a waffle shop doesn't have waffle batter when it opens! Wouldn't it have been nicer if they had warned us half an hour earlier when we first came?

28/09/2024: The products are very good but you will have to review your hiring skills and your team because your salespeople are unpleasant, they look very bad and blow while taking our orders even though that is their job.

04/09/2024: Nothing to do with La Tribune. I won't go back there. Really disappointed. A Mojito and a Virgin Mojito with no taste. (The charcuterie board was good luckily). Burgers not great with overcooked fries. Very ordinary gourmet coffees. In addition we reserve for 8 and we find ourselves on 4 small tables of two at the entrance. However, that weekday evening the restaurant was empty! So yes, we preferred LA TRIBUNE

31/08/2024: Stopover dinner with family. Alright. Courteous, fast and smiling service. Quality cuisine.

08/09/2024: I'm a fan of this restaurant, of the many events that take place there and of its always top-notch staff! The cuisine is a treat for the taste buds. I recommend with your eyes closed.
