14/03/2026: Small restaurant. I stumbled upon it on a street full of restaurants.
It's pretty standard fare, like in any restaurant: they have the famous Breton galette, served with a side salad.
The dishes are quite good, and there's a wide selection of other items on the menu, such as mussels and fries.
The service was fine. The owners are friendly, but the food isn't anything special.

07/03/2026: The meal was decent, but at 10 PM the doors were left wide open to encourage customers to leave. This leaves a negative impression of the place. Only go there during a heatwave!
18/01/2026: Passing through Saint-Malo in August 2024, we stopped at Café de Saint-Malo despite the rather inclement weather. Rain and wind were definitely on the agenda!
We enjoyed a delicious plate of shrimp, had a drink, and finished with a coffee.
The welcome was truly warm and the service attentive despite the crowds and gloomy weather. A great place to remember for a tasty break in the streets of Saint-Malo, with a Parisian brasserie feel!

Otherwise, the rooms were clean.

19/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner at €110 was completely unjustified, especially considering the poor quality of the menu, apart from the meat. The scallops were overcooked and served cold, and the dessert was hardly worthy of a New Year's Eve celebration. There was no sparkling wine with dessert to celebrate the new year, let alone champagne. We were cold in the conservatory, in short... A place to avoid.
06/01/2026: For us, it was for New Year's Eve.
It was awful in every way: the meal (except for the small piece of meat which was excellent), no champagne, we bought two bottles of Nicolas Feuilleté instead, cheap bottles sold for cash or at exorbitant prices of 65 euros a bottle... luckily someone at our table was keeping an eye on the time, otherwise we would have flown into 2026 without even realizing it!

05/03/2026: Entry refused because "we're not regulars at this bar." Furthermore, I noticed they were letting in all the white people, and knowing I'm Maroon from the islands, I understand why. I didn't know you needed a membership card to get into this bar.
05/03/2026: I get to the entrance and the bouncer refuses us entry simply because we're not regular customers, even though his bar is empty. How sad. I was there to rent a place and I end up outside. Is he racist? I'm genuinely wondering. (I'm Black)

25/01/2026: Very disappointed with both of our dishes: 1) Steak tartare mixed with an improbable sauce, unappetizing appearance. 2) Seafood sauerkraut served lukewarm, the potato definitely straight from the fridge, and a scallop with a questionable taste that made me stop eating immediately. By the time we got home with stomach cramps, we were headed straight for the bathroom!! Help! Avoid this place! 🫣🫣🤮
11/01/2026: Avoid at all costs. €3 for the chef's suggestion when we hadn't ordered anything. We ordered medium-rare ribeye steak, but it arrived completely burnt and cooked in oil. After complaining, we ordered a second ribeye steak, still oily and bloody, and full of fat and sinew, making it inedible. At the register, there was no attempt at compensation. I don't usually complain, but this is truly a place to avoid. January 11, 2026, lunchtime

14/12/2024: Nous avions réservé pour venir manger avant un concert.
Nous avons eu un très bon accueil, un service impeccable avec le sourire et rapide comme nous le souhaitions.
La cuisine est très bonne, comme à chaque fois que nous venons. Nous sommes même revenus pour manger notre dessert et c'est avec autant de gentillesse que nous avons été accueilli 👍👍
26/11/2024: J’ai pris un choucroute paysanne. Qualité du plat très moyenne et le choux n’avait pas beaucoup de goût et la quantité était très faible. Ma conjointe a pris des lasagnes et la salade était cuite ! Très déçu.

07/08/2024: D'après notre expérience, ce restaurant est un superbe endroit pour un bon dîner entre amis.
La nourriture y est très bonne, le personnel chaleureux et aimable, l'endroit agréable, et les prix raisonnables.
Si vous aimez le cochon, je vous conseille vivement de venir y faire un tour !
Et finalement, je tiens à remercier les serveurs pour leur sympathie, merci !

A warm and professional welcome in a pleasant setting.

27/08/2024: Chicken with maroilles not cooked, staff unpleasant and slow. I don't recommend going there at lunchtime at all if you are limited on time.
We also came there in the evening for a drink with colleagues and were disappointed with the service, the waiter didn't pay attention to what we asked, my drink didn't match.
