29/06/2026: A little discovery on the way to Rennes. The setting isn't amazing, but the small terrace is very pleasant, tucked away from the parking lot. The food is excellent and the welcome is very warm. The owner makes lovely little pieces of jewelry (I bought a pretty brooch). This adds to her charm. It's a must-stop if you're passing through Liffre. Definitely worth a visit.

16/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped at this restaurant. The food was simple but very good, and the portions were generous. Excellent value for money; the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) was €15.90. A warm welcome. I recommend it.

01/05/2026: Nice roadside diner, a marquee in the back, plenty of seating. Decent meal, (good) set menu: (starter, main course, dessert) less than 18 euros. With a quarter-liter of wine. Small starter buffet... (only one serving per person) The waitstaff lacked focus at times (perhaps a little hard of hearing) but remained very friendly nonetheless. (Please don't overlook this!) At the end of the meal... I recommend the (house) dessert, a pure delight which, for me, is by far the best of all those I have had the opportunity to taste to date. Good value for money. 15/07/2026: We had a lovely meal here. My wife and I are on holiday from England and we enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. It's opposite the train station, which was ideal, not too expensive, and the food was delicious.

21/02/2026: A fantastic surprise! Right from the start, you're immersed in the atmosphere: * The place is a bit hidden; you have to ring the bell to request access. * You have to find the code to get in (it's easy to find, even for those who are a bit timid). We arrived with Jack Sparrow, who offered us delicious cocktails. We asked him to make us cocktails to his liking, and honestly, he was amazing! They were so good! I only deducted one star for the atmosphere because perhaps the bright lighting could be toned down. But that's just a minor detail. We highly recommend it! Don't hesitate to press the button to request access.

22/04/2026: I chose a hamburger. The bun was dry and very bland. The deli meat was served but I didn't eat it because it had an unusual taste, and the sauce tasted like a store-bought one. The fries were advertised as homemade, but they didn't taste like potatoes at all. The ice cream for dessert was full of frost and iced bits. The quality of the food was lacking. Overall, I was quite disappointed despite the quick and friendly service.

27/05/2026: Unbelievable welcome. Arriving on a Sunday, we waited until 3:02 PM to enter the hotel. We were told that 3 PM is later in Brittany. We went back outside to wait for the hotel manager to deign to let us in, only for him to come back and sit near us like a friend, chatting about the weather without even saying hello. Then came the criticism of having booked through Booking.com. He then explained that Sunday was also his special day. In short, after a 15km walk, we gave up hope of getting our keys, faced with the host's nonchalance. The overly familiar manner (addressing us by our first name) and a reminder to prioritize working-class restaurants over welcoming tourists contributed to the discomfort. This discomfort was shared by those accompanying me. The hotel is poorly soundproofed. Breakfast, starting at 9 AM, is incompatible with hikers. We fully agree with the negative comments about the hotel and the manager. We do not recommend this hotel.

31/03/2026: We stopped by chance for dinner at this small, working-class restaurant. The menu was good, with generous portions and plenty of outdoor seating. The owner and staff were very pleasant. I recommend it.
