24/01/2026: We had lunch at the crêperie this Saturday. There were six of us: three adults and three children. We were greeted warmly and with a smile and seated upstairs. To our surprise, there was a children's area. We had a lovely time and enjoyed some great conversations with the owner. Add to that the excellent galettes and crêpes, and you have the recipe for a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back. Thank you again!

18/01/2026: We had lunch there this Sunday. We were greeted by a very friendly young woman. The salad and galette were excellent. The crêpes were also good, although I'm not a fan of the vanilla flavor in the batter. We will definitely be back.

12/12/2025: My experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing. The service was particularly poor: an interminable wait, a cold and unprofessional welcome, far from what one has the right to expect from a restaurant that presents itself as a high-end establishment. It's clear that the customer is not valued. No effort, no attention, no real desire to make the experience pleasant. This discrepancy between the projected image and the reality of the service is frankly regrettable. Based on my visit, I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

02/02/2026: A really lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere! The food is excellent value for money and the chairs are very comfortable! In short, we had a very pleasant time! Bonus points: Free Wi-Fi and board games are available upon request!

04/12/2025: Fantastic place! We had a wonderful meal and received a very warm welcome. A huge plus: the late opening hours saved our evening, and it's so nice to find a restaurant that doesn't give you a dirty look when you arrive a little late. The quality of the food is excellent, the staff are lovely, and frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. A truly excellent find; I highly recommend it.

30/12/2025: Friendly helpful staff that delivers quality produce straight from the elevage! The ladies were very friendly and didn’t shy away from a nice chat. The oysters are as fresh as you can get them, with the oyster farm right behind them! Amazing little place for some oysters and a glass of white wine with a sea view, on good days you can actually see Jersey and Mt Saint-Michel!

04/01/2026: I chose Le Cambusier for a low-key lunch to celebrate my partner's 50th. The food and service were outstanding - and the house wine was lovely too. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm and welcoming. The staff went out of their way to help make it a memorable occasion by lighting a birthday candle and chorusing Happy Birthday when they brought out his meal. We chose dishes from both menu's and shared our food and every mouthful was delicious and perfect. If I lived in Saint Malo I would eat there regularly and can completely recommend this lovely little restaurant. Thank you and hope to visit again in the future x

08/01/2026: First of all, I want to make it clear that this review was not written under duress. More seriously, after spending four weeks in Fougères, and being originally from the south of France, I'm delighted to finally discover that not all the restaurants in Fougères are so mediocre. Let me explain: on the recommendation of my client, I discovered this bistro which offers everything that makes a good restaurant: a small but well-balanced menu, the best ingredients showcased by expertly prepared dishes, a warm welcome from the team—the owner and his waitress—all in a stylish and pleasant setting. Luckily, I'm returning for another two weeks, and this will definitely be my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it!

03/01/2026: I've rarely encountered such a warm welcome as at L'Arbre en Bois. It feels like home, with delicious crepes and galettes at affordable prices. We'll definitely be back.

25/10/2025: A great seafood restaurant right on the harbor with a lovely atmosphere. We visited twice for dinner and were very satisfied. A friendly welcome and a great menu. The second time, the service was a bit slow and not as warm and welcoming.

27/06/2025: Without a doubt the best crêperie in Rennes!!! Everything is perfect: the welcome, the setting, the service. The galettes are great and extremely well-filled, just like the crepes!! A very wide selection of fresh and well-cooked products. Excellent value for money. First time for us but not the last😉. Go there with your eyes closed 😌...... a very successful evening, can't wait for the next time.
