29/08/2024: A very small restaurant that we tried with my partner and our 6 year old daughter because the Google reviews were good and frankly we had a great time!! I had the rougail with Breton sausage, we lick the plate because it's so excellent, the super friendly staff I recommend +++ we plan to come back next year to the corners of Saint Malo, we won't miss come back and eat there, thank you to the whole team 😊

26/08/2024: Great discovery of this quiet little restaurant! The dishes are homemade, which is rare these days! We had a pollock casserole and a sirloin grilled to perfection. Special mention to the Camembert sauce! Very good friendly welcome from the staff. We highly recommend!

30/12/2025: We came in November to celebrate a birthday. The children were delighted with their homemade burgers made with quality ingredients. The pizzas are excellent. The menu is relatively small because the ingredients are of such high quality. The desserts were served in jars, which was very original. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's worth the trip to Goven! 😁😁😁

29/11/2025: We go there regularly on Saturday lunchtimes when we're in Rennes. Never disappointed. The open-faced sandwiches and soups are very good. The welcome, decor, and atmosphere are always perfect. Craft beers and cider on tap. Very fast service.

08/11/2025: The dishes are pretty but lack substance... Sauerkraut with prawns and only 3 prawns is meager! For a starter, a soft-boiled egg with a small piece of haddock and a small piece of trout! For a €53 menu, I find this excessive... Frankly, I was very disappointed by the contents of the plates, especially for this price!

10/01/2026: Excellent experience at the Savoyard restaurant L’Edelweiss. The food was very good, generous, and flavorful. The service was top-notch, quick, and attentive. A warm welcome from a kind and smiling team. A truly delightful experience; we will definitely be back!

27/12/2025: We had booked for December 27th. After speaking with a very friendly employee, we cancelled the reservation because dogs are not allowed. However, on the day of our arrival, we received a call from an unpleasant and accusatory man, blaming us for not having notified them. In light of this exchange and this attitude, we obviously will not be returning to this establishment. It's a shame, because everything had gone very well during our initial contact.

04/12/2025: An excellent Michelin-starred restaurant in Saint-Malo. A very zen atmosphere, attentive service, sublime flavors on the plates, a true exploration of taste – a delight for the palate. Don't hesitate to ask questions about the dishes, the flavors, the aromatic herbs; nothing will be kept from you, quite the contrary, it's a sharing of culinary knowledge. Thank you all for this excellent Michelin-starred experience.

03/01/2026: The hotel is very well located within the walls of Saint-Malo. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

28/12/2025: I do not recommend this place; the reviews no longer reflect reality. The music was too loud; we asked them to turn the volume down. The service was very unprofessional, and nothing reassuring about our arrival. The beef was presented to us as exceptional. We asked for it rare, but the piece served was charred on the surface and overcooked inside. The meat tasted like water... This beef was served with (homemade) fries. The container was only two-thirds full, and the fries were probably already cooked and reheated. The fries at the bottom of the container were broken and very dark in color. The salad served on the plate was wilted and crispy. This dish cost €32. We were guests, and out of respect for the person being honored at this dinner, we didn't make any comments. It goes without saying that we didn't order dessert. Everyone in our party was disappointed. I do not recommend this restaurant. We still paid 60 euros per person for drinks and a charcuterie board to share.
