15/03/2026: A culinary experience of rare delicacy… I had the pleasure of lunching today at the Auberge du Pont d’Acigné, and I leave with a heart full of gratitude. My appetite was modest this lunchtime, and the team welcomed it with a kindness and understanding that demonstrate a true sense of hospitality, without judgment, without pressure, with a sincere attention to the well-being of the guest. This is rare, and it deserves to be commended. My delight? I traveled. Chef Sylvain Guillemot's cuisine is an invitation to a sensory journey, a cuisine that speaks, that surprises, that touches. A big thank you to him. Thank you also to Isabelle, the sommelier, for her insightful advice and her contagious passion. And a very special mention to our server, a tall, dark-haired man whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, who answered all my questions about the edible plants featured on the plates with remarkable precision and passion. 05/04/2026: The galette was burnt, and the salad was placed on top with honey drizzled over it. I don't recommend it. The cider was okay, and there was a nice fire in the fireplace. We didn't order the suite and left. Far too expensive for the subpar quality. You're paying for the view of the castle. ☹️☹️☹️

The burger is made with buckwheat pancakes instead of bread, a very good experience, I highly recommend going there. And I advise you to make a reservation to be sure of getting a seat.

22/04/2026: We celebrated my 40th birthday at this restaurant with a lunch for 23 people (adults and children), and everything was absolutely perfect. The dining room was reserved for our exclusive use, which created a truly intimate and convivial atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for. The setting, with its exposed stone walls, is both warm and soothing—ideal for sharing a moment with family and friends. The service was outstanding: seamless, attentive, and never intrusive. The staff adapted perfectly to the pace of the meal, especially during speeches, with great tact and discretion. Beforehand, the organization was very simple and pleasant. The chef listened carefully to our preferences, guiding us expertly to create a menu that suited everyone, playing it safe while adding a truly personalized touch. The result was outstanding: beautifully presented, balanced, and flavorful dishes with perfectly portioned meals—we left feeling satisfied without being overly full, which is rare and much appreciated. All this at an excellent price. A big thank you also for your attention to detail: adapting the table layout for children and your kindness towards our daughter with a disability, respecting her specific needs with great sensitivity. All our guests were delighted, and we will cherish the wonderful memories of this experience. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation, both for the quality of its cuisine and for the warm welcome and professionalism of the entire team.

19/04/2026: It's quite rare for me to give a restaurant top marks, but this one truly deserves it! A small menu that promises fresh, homemade dishes, prepared with skill and flavor. Every plate was emptied (even the girls ate their vegetables!), mopped up, and practically cleaned up :) A real family restaurant, just the way I like them, where you're warmly welcomed, where they take their time, and where you ultimately feel comfortable! If we're ever in the area again, we promise we'll be back.

20/04/2026: This restaurant was the final stop on our very busy sightseeing day. We came because the children’s menu looked especially appealing, and feeding our child while traveling can sometimes be a challenge. The kids’ menu was outstanding. Healthy, straightforward food that a child would actually enjoy, with a perfectly sized portion - enough to satisfy them without being too much. I had the scallop and oyster tartare as a starter and scallops for my main course. The tartare was a little confusing because it had something white on top that wasn’t mentioned in the description. I have to admit I didn’t dare try the topping (I have some dietary restrictions), and personally I prefer scallops and oysters separately. However, the main course was absolutely divine - an incredible balance of flavors and a beautiful presentation. My husband had a veal dish, which he also really enjoyed. What slightly spoiled the experience was the service. I definitely felt like an unwelcome guest, which was disappointing. Still, I highly recommend this place - the food was fantastic, and the other guests seemed to be welcomed very warmly. My only regret is that I didn’t look at the dessert menu when ordering - judging by the descriptions, every dessert sounded amazing. I also wish we’d had time to change before coming to the restaurant, but we were in a rush to have dinner and get our child to bed.
