23/03/2026: Sensational food, the best steak ever. Booked in advance via their WhatsApp and so glad we did! Small restaurant but such high quality food and service. We ordered their steak platter for 2 and it comes with so much food. Jacket potato, 1kg of steak, veggies and then bread to soak up the juices - insane!! Drinks were also great and well priced. We left very full and very happy. The vibes were also very cosy and fun, defo book in advance as they were turning people away and only do 2 sittings!

22/03/2026: Love the combination between local mountain and basque country dishes. Vegetarian starters were amazing, so az the magret canard and the basque style raclette. We had a really great time with friends. It was helpful to book it in advance.

28/02/2026: If Gault&Millau has once again awarded this restaurant perched high above Saint-Marcellin, in this 15th-century castle, it's because something truly unique is happening here. Chef Samuel Didier never ceases to surprise and reinvent himself. Three years after my first visit, I promised myself I would return with Christelle and my friends to La Tivollière, Samuel and Alexandrine's restaurant. Tonight, the passion is still going strong! The "L'éclat de l'or noir" (The Splendor of Black Gold) regional truffle menu offered us a true gastronomic journey: delicate amuse-bouches, crispy snails with a hint of garlic, scallops and parsnips with seaweed, slow-cooked rabbit with endive carbonara, truffle cappuccino, and finally, a sublime vanilla caramel and chocolate dessert. Each dish reveals remarkable skill and sensitivity. The wine list perfectly complements the aromatic notes of the terroir. Stars belong only to poets… Thank you, Chef Samuel, for this magnificent journey. We will be back!

22/02/2026: Very disappointed!! An interminable wait between courses; it took us three hours to eat four very meager dishes! They clearly need at least one more waiter!! The plates were served without any presentation worthy of a fine dining restaurant. The quality was there, but nothing exceptional.... The setting is very average. The price is excessive considering the quality!! The "fine dining" label is an exaggeration and undeserved.

22/03/2026: We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at this restaurant with 40 guests, and everything was absolutely perfect! The organization was top-notch from start to finish, the service was incredibly fast despite the number of guests, and the food was truly delicious. A huge thank you also for the warm welcome; we felt comfortable immediately, and everyone had a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

24/02/2026: In a quiet, sheltered, and sunny little square (at midday), "Qu'est ce qu'on mange" offers tasty and healthy cuisine. The menu is short, but the dishes are homemade and the ingredients are sourced locally. The dining room is bright, the tables are spacious, and the service is attentive. A good place to stop.

14/01/2026: I went in September with my husband and mother, and all I can say is positive. 🤌🏻 The owner was absolutely lovely. She quickly noticed that my husband and I are Muslim and promptly reassured us that the meat was halal. The food was high quality and made with love. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this wonderful place. 🤩

I had the chance to try almost everything on the menu, and it was simply delicious! Fresh ingredients and generous portions. 24/03/2026: Last night, we went as a family to eat raclette at Clariant. Just wow. Amazing. Even the arrival at night is sublime; it must be just as stunning during the day. The welcome was top-notch, honestly, nothing to complain about: smiling, helpful, and attentive. We're almost at the end of the winter season, and they're incredibly friendly, which is really appreciated. The food was excellent, the ingredients were well-chosen, truly fantastic, and the homemade desserts were delicious. The experience was amazing: a nighttime walk through the forest, toasting popcorn over a wood fire, and walking back to the car by torchlight. Honestly, fantastic. In short, the experience was amazing, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, smiling, and attentive, the decor was super cozy, and the gentle warmth of a wood fire filled the entire restaurant. In short, we loved it. 😊
