17/01/2026: Catastrophic experience! I came today and waited in line for over an hour, only for the waiter to tell me, when my turn finally came, that he was going to seat the first five people behind me. I told him I was ahead of them in the queue… The waiter replied, “No, no, they were ahead of you.” Luckily, one of the five people behind me confirmed that I wasn’t ahead of them. Their confirmation plus mine wasn’t enough for him. He wouldn’t budge and humiliated me in front of everyone by asking the group a second time, “Are you sure she was ahead of you? Because it’s been a while since I checked.” The girl, embarrassed, confirmed again, “No, no, I assure you she was ahead of us.” What humiliation…!!!!!! To top it all off, he told me, “If you’re not happy, you can leave the bar.” What a warm welcome! Bravo! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

17/01/2026: Fantastic restaurant. We're regulars and have never been disappointed. The manager and the whole team are lovely. The portions are generous and absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this place. A far cry from the tourist traps you sometimes find in the mountains 😉 Bonus: the restaurant is dog-friendly 🐶

23/01/2026: After a long and tough (too tough) hike, we found ourselves in this small, secluded restaurant. We even rolled back down to tell you how full and satisfied we were! The staff were very friendly too.

26/08/2025: "Traditional cuisine," indeed, given the owner's attitude. A minor misunderstanding between a friend (who, incidentally, apologized profusely right away and without any ill intent) turned into a ridiculous conflict. Condescending remarks ("I'll teach you about life") followed by extremely unpleasant responses to polite questions during payment. The owner brought up the incident again with the same condescension and aggression even though we tried to calmly explain the situation. The tone escalated further, and threats were profuse (including physical threats, with an employee hiding an ashtray behind his back with the intention of hitting one of my friends), and then the owner became increasingly aggressive. A pointless argument worthy of the best reality TV shows over nothing much. This "good" man is absolutely not recommended, and this restaurant (sorry to the other employees who have nothing to do with it) is to be avoided at all costs. Deplorable. Simply deplorable.

09/11/2025: The restaurant was listed as open on Google. The recorded message also indicated that the restaurant was open, but reservations were not accepted. When we arrived at the restaurant, after a half-hour walk, we found it closed! Not cool!

14/08/2025: Our pleasure stop, winter and summer, for the setting, in the middle of the mountains, the tranquility, the kindness and the friendliness of the owners and the waiters to have a drink, eat a crepe (with blueberry it's to die for) but also to eat there! It's fresh, it's good, well served and good value for money. We love it!

26/05/2025: Passing through St. Omer around 1 p.m. and feeling a bit peckish, I decided to stop by the warehouse. I ordered a bacon burger and an American fricadelle to eat in. Served in less than 5 minutes ⏲️ What generosity, the fries, and the two sandwiches were really very good. The products are of good quality (faluche and Bacon Burger ingredients 🍔 👍). Salt and vinegar were available to season the fries as we wished. In the dining room, there was no music, just the sound of vehicles passing by the chip shop. It remained relatively quiet for a quiet meal. The price was very reasonable. The staff was helpful and attentive. I recommend it and will definitely come back if I'm in St. Omer again.

04/06/2025: It is a typical French bistro in the Eybens area. The truth is that it is lucky to have a restaurant with this quality in the neighborhood!!! Everything very homemade and very delicious. They are very close and very nice people! 100% recommended.

21/05/2025: A restaurant we found by chance and which has become our go-to place for years with a friend. The dishes are all homemade. The cuisine is high-quality. I found myself eating things I didn't necessarily like, as they were so well prepared. The menu speaks for itself: three hot dishes, three desserts. Quality in all simplicity, that's so rare these days.

14/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant while stopping along our route. We had a very good meal. The dishes are homemade, so there's hardly any choice on the menu, but in the end, that's not a bad thing given the high quality. The cook serves us and is very friendly. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior decor is simple and pleasant, and again, the most important thing (the food) is excellent. Reasonable prices: we paid 71 euros for 3 people – starters, main courses, desserts, 2 drinks, and coffee. It's a great place to eat if you're in the area. All the best.

12/02/2026: After our car broke down nearby, we discovered Le Central, a small family restaurant where the owner welcomed us and our daughter at 1:45 pm for lunch. We chatted about food and other things. A meal just like home—simple, efficient, and delicious! Well done!

13/02/2026: I was a little disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. The setting is pleasant and the service polite, but that doesn't make up for the clearly poor value for money. It's a shame, because it has potential, but today the bill was far too high for what was offered.
