21/05/2025: A restaurant we found by chance and which has become our go-to place for years with a friend. The dishes are all homemade. The cuisine is high-quality. I found myself eating things I didn't necessarily like, as they were so well prepared. The menu speaks for itself: three hot dishes, three desserts. Quality in all simplicity, that's so rare these days.

The ambiance, the quality of the ingredients, the presentation, the cooking, the harmony of flavors, the attentive and discreet service, the price... Everything was perfect, a true delight! 27/02/2026: I can only judge the restaurant itself. Unfortunately, and I'm sorry to say this, I hesitated because the owner is friendly and offered us a discount without us even asking, but I can't let people be misled by the travel guide's history. I ate a baked Camembert from Intermarché with four 3cm x 3cm potatoes and a (good) green salad, along with slices of cheap bread, for €18.50. My partner and stepson had Intermarché ravioli with a drizzle of truffle-flavored oil (probably something completely mass-produced and inexpensive) for the same price. There was a lot of confusion, but I don't hold it against them. The discount, however appreciated, can't cover €17 in the end for such blatant incompetence. I can't let other customers be ripped off; they seriously need to raise their standards.

16/02/2026: Excellent hotel, ideally located in the center of Villard-de-Lans. Unbeatable value for money; we were on half-board and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dinner was fabulous and breakfast was very complete. The only slight drawback is the parking, which isn't easy. The manager and his wife are exceptionally kind and helpful. We will definitely be back. The rooms are very nice.

07/12/2025: The savory crepes were good, but the sweet crepes were very disappointing. They were extremely thick and undercooked. Nothing like Breton crepes, contrary to what was advertised.
