22/03/2026: We only had lunch (we didn't stay overnight at the hotel) and everything was perfect: the owner was there and managed to find us a table outside even though everything was booked, the servers were very attentive, friendly, and efficient, and the dishes were full of flavor with high-quality local produce. 19/02/2026: A simple, authentic, and warm welcome. Delicious, home-style cooking; the chef cooks with heart, and it shows. We've been passing by for several years, but never at the right time, and today we finally stopped in! And we'll be back! Without hesitation. Thank you to the waitress and chef. A real treat! 😉

15/02/2026: A DISASTER!!!! Valentine's Day evening completely ruined! €56 menu Amuse-bouche to share with a glass of Kir Royal Starter: Pan-fried shrimp Trou Normand (apple sorbet) 2 main courses of your choice Gourmet coffee Arrived at 8 pm, glass of Kir served at 8:50 pm, amuse-bouche served at 9 pm. Okay, we weren't in a hurry, but an hour for two pieces of foie gras on toast and two pieces of salmon on toast is excessive!!!! The starter arrived... one plate for two (it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the starter was to be shared) with six shrimp on it, meaning three shrimp each!!!!! Cold and undercooked (still a slightly slimy texture). A couple of his friends each got a plate of shrimp with the sauce being drained from the pan in front of everyone!!! I remind you, the menu was €56, and that didn't include wine. Meanwhile, the owner was just yelling and shouting that it was his last shift, that he was closing the restaurant, that he'd been to prison, that his wife had left him... He was completely out of it. His friend brought him back to the kitchen several times; the waitress was exasperated, the atmosphere was awful. Then came the "trou normand" (a small glass of Calvados served between courses) with disgusting vodka. I decided to leave the restaurant. As a resident of the town, I will never go back, and I will also go and tell him to his face what I think of his unacceptable behavior when he reopens. I'm giving it one star because you can't give zero.

From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a smile, kindness, and genuine simplicity, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Here, there's no endless menu: just one set menu, but several options, guaranteeing freshness and quality. The dishes are homemade, simple, generous, and truly delicious. Special mention goes to the complimentary soup, a thoughtful touch that makes all the difference. 👉 Starter, main course, and dessert for under €20, with well-prepared ingredients, excellent value for money, and flavorful cuisine. It's also one of the only restaurants open on weekdays in Biscarrosse, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists visiting Biscarrosse, Biscarrosse-Plage, Parentis, Gastes, and the surrounding area. An authentic restaurant in Biscarrosse, where you feel comfortable, eat well, and want to return. I highly recommend it!

28/02/2026: A huge thank you to the team at Grill du Lac where we had a wonderful time (a belated Valentine's Day meal). A warm welcome and attentive service, full of kindness and humor from the waitresses. The meal was generous and excellent, especially the citrus prawn bouquet (absolutely divine, I almost had to order it for dessert). I've been living in the Landes region for 13 years and this was a successful first visit to Grill du Lac. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thanks again, and we look forward to seeing you again!

15/02/2026: We celebrated Valentine's Day at this restaurant! It was impeccable; the chef and owner presented his own take on cuisine. The menu was €55 plus wine. The service was excellent, friendly and smiling. I was seated opposite the kitchen, and the chef clearly knows his stuff. Everything was spotless, from the cleanliness to the quality of the work. I spent 52 years in a kitchen; I know what's good and beautiful when I see it. I will gladly return to try the specialties at Le Goustut.

30/11/2025: The mezze format is quite nice, and the food is of a good standard. It's a shame the service isn't up to the same standard. We ordered a glass of wine, and the waitress offered us a taste before pouring it. After tasting it, we decided to order something else. The waitress then clumsily remarked, "If I had known, I wouldn't have opened the bottle." The standard practice in the industry is to offer customers a taste before serving them wine. There's no harm done if a customer changes their mind when it comes to wine by the glass. This kind of behavior detracts from the customer experience and undermines the work of the kitchen. It's a shame.

16/03/2026: Avoid the cocktails as they're not great, and there are no appetizers. The owner is friendly but works alone. The food is good, but there's not much choice. We won't be going back.

22/02/2026: A very pleasant meal, perfect service. The ribeye steak from the menu was a delight, served with homemade fries and salad. Friendly atmosphere. The wine list offered a good variety of wines from different regions.
