16/05/2026: Arriving as a group of eight, including four children, we received a particularly warm welcome. Everyone was very friendly and smiling. A real pleasure despite the rain! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the oysters were excellent! The children loved the ham and pâté. Special mention goes to the smallest oyster offered to our 10-year-old son, who insisted on trying it! We will definitely be back! Go without hesitation!

03/05/2026: As pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, we had a truly wonderful time at L’Escalandes. The welcome was warm and the meal excellent. Marina is a lovely person, full of kindness. We had a problem with blisters, and she did everything she could to help us. We are from Pas-de-Calais and hope to have the opportunity to return. A big thank you!

08/07/2026: While I was in the area, what a pleasant discovery! The restaurant, open for lunch, offers a set menu for €16.60 including soup, starter, main course, and dessert. Everything is homemade and of remarkable quality. What a pleasure to find a good lunch, especially at such a reasonable price! The waitresses are very professional, the cook is excellent, and the owner is a relaxed and professional host with a very welcoming manner. For an affordable price, we enjoyed a complete meal with soup, starter, main course, and dessert. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 11/07/2026: My experience was disappointing. I went there for my birthday. It was a precious moment, and my partner was very happy to take me, which is why he got a little annoyed when, after I clearly stated that I was allergic to peppers, the waitress noted the information but didn't pass it on to the bar when we ordered our glass of champagne. As a result, another waitress brought us a glass with a small bowl of olives with peppers. You should be very careful, because having ordered the full menu for €36 and then adding extra dishes... The cuisine is refined and delicate, but I can't say the same for the food. I had a problem with my veal dish; the center of the cut was full of sinew, which can happen, I agree. I couldn't cut it, so I informed a waitress, who told me to take it back to the kitchen to be replaced, which seemed obvious. But then, to my surprise upon returning to the kitchen, the meat had been cut up and all the sinew removed, a third of it gone... I was left with nothing but two small pieces of meat on my plate, with a noticeable lack of sauce, nothing added... a dish that cost an extra €4. As for dessert, I ended up with my profiteroles and my coffee at the same time, which I ended up drinking cold. This is really disrespectful for a Master Restaurateur... They took us for tourists, but let me tell you, that's not the case. It's a real shame, no attention to detail... very disappointed considering the price. I'm not thanking you for the birthday meal, which was supposed to be amazing...

The menu was delicious: a sophisticated and original starter, perfectly cooked fish, and a fruit salad with basil. The ingredients were fresh, seasonal, and beautifully presented, and the service was friendly and efficient. Unbeatable value for money in the area. Highly recommended!

29/04/2026: We had an absolutely delightful lunch at La Ferme aux Grives, part of the beautiful Les Prés d’Eugénie, Michel Guérard estate, a member of Relais & Châteaux. • From the moment we walked through the gate, we knew we were in for something special. The garden setting is simply magical, surrounded by roses in full bloom, with birdsong in the background and even the occasional lizard passing through. It is the kind of place that immediately invites you to slow down and take it all in. • The experience was seamless from start to finish. Service was warm, attentive and perfectly paced, striking that balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. We began with cocktails before enjoying a beautifully executed three course meal. The dishes were elegant yet grounded in the region, with a clear respect for seasonal ingredients and classic French technique. Every plate was as visually refined as it was delicious. • What makes this place particularly special is how effortlessly it delivers a true Relais & Châteaux experience. There is no pretension, just a deep sense of place, quality and care in every detail. • For those who may not know, the estate is closely tied to Michel Guérard,and the entire property reflects his philosophy of refined yet approachable gastronomy. • This was one of those rare lunches where everything comes together perfectly, from the setting and atmosphere to the food and service. A truly memorable experience, and absolutely worth it.

As a vegetarian, I was especially impressed that they prepared an amazing risotto just for me. The side dishes were delicious and felt like true comfort food, and the dessert was simply fantastic.
