05/04/2024: We had the pleasure of coming to eat at your establishment this evening. The experience deserves to be highlighted. Flawless from start to finish, whether in terms of service, pleasant, discreet and careful. A beautiful wine list and rare thing, all the details (year, grape varieties, winegrowers) are specified. And what about the meal! 7 guests around the table and all unanimously said that it was exceptional. A big congratulations to the whole team, thank you for giving us such a delicious moment.

30/03/2024: While there is absolutely nothing to complain about the dishes (everything is of very good quality, very tasty and served generously), the service was particularly lacking during our meal. We were seated and then “left” at our table for a good twenty minutes. We had to flag down the waiters several times for various things, the bottle of wine ordered was left far from our table, etc etc. The decoration is very nice. Allow €60 per person (starter, main course, dessert with aperitif and wine).

11/06/2024: We had booked this in advance and it was on our way to our next destination. So after a long trip along the beautiful Loire we chose this restaurant. It had a Michellin commitment. Of course that doesn't say everything, but you never know. Unfortunately only a sip of wine, because I still had to drive, but it was a very nice sip :D The service was smooth and the owner kept the pace going. Every now and then we were served by a trainee, who you could clearly tell was a trainee. Fortunately, he was able to explain in excellent French what we were going to eat in the different courses. Unfortunately my French is not that good. I personally hate taking pictures of food and then posting them. Of course they are often works of art, but the chef made them and not you, so the chef can post them under his name. Honor to those to whom it is due. ... However ? That's why I thought, what if I show my added value in the photo, at the same time you can see how delicious it was.

05/05/2024: Incredible weekend in this former hunting lodge where comfort, refinement and tranquility are essential. The beauty of the place is breathtaking, the bucolic setting very refreshing and the staff truly adorable and very professional. We were showered with charming attentions. Impeccable cleanliness and royal bedding. Gourmet cuisine that easily deserves its star by combining local products and bold flavors. Clarins luxury spa with one-hour access to the sauna/hammam included and privatized, which is very appreciable. One of the best places we have stayed. Thanks to the whole team. We will definitely come back.

25/03/2024: We had lunch in a pleasant setting, good welcome, decent service, good value for money with the pleasure menu at 44€ even if the 8€ Beuchelle supplement seems surprising to me.. I didn't find the taste of the foie gras in the starter which was a little too salty for me. The lamb breast was delicious, I would have liked a third piece. The cognac flambé soufflé is excellent. Small downside is the price of the wine (saumur Champigny) at €45? 4 times the trade price.

20/05/2024: Very pleasant discovery of a gourmet restaurant: opposite the Château de Blois, on the shore of the Loire, finally real French cuisine. The two of us chose for lunch, main course + dessert: . Sweetbreads: the house’s signature dish and we understand why 😀 . poultry ballotine: well-controlled and tasty cooking . Raspberry tartlet on caramel cream: good pastry . but special mention for the mango sorbet on a fresh apricot soup: a combination of good taste and refreshing. All served with kindness, good wine advice (by the glass) for each dish. Well done to the chef and the whole team.
