15/06/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel. The welcome was very friendly. And the food? A real treat! Delicious homemade dishes, and you can taste the difference. The chef was attentive to his guests. We will definitely return to this hotel.

18/05/2026: An idyllic setting for relaxation. A renovated old mill nestled in a verdant setting with a small stream. Easy parking right next door. Beautifully decorated interior, from the bedroom to the dining room. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bedding. Impeccably clean. The evening and night were peaceful and restful, especially without the noise of children shouting and running around! The hotel is reserved for adults only, and it's wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, especially after the hustle and bustle of Beauval Zoo! On-site dining options include a continental breakfast and a delicious dinner. A big thank you to Julien and Émilie for their warm welcome.

28/07/2026: My wife and I stopped at this great little auberge with our dog on route to Château de Villesavin. The menu is simple but all everything was delicious, my favourite was the extensive salad buffet for the first course. Both the wine and desserts also excellent, whilst the waiter was friendly and made us feel at home. Their terrace area was an extremely welcome escape from the heat. At €18, the three courses plus cheese and wine was extremely good value. The auberge is unpretentious and reminded me of the brilliant no-nonsense french restaurants that I used to visit with my grandfather. A wonderful find...thank you for a great lunch!

20/09/2026: Meh... The beef was overcooked even though I ordered it rare. My neighbor's potatoes were undercooked, and his partner's dish needed reheating. The servers were friendly. The street was quiet. It's okay if you're in a pinch.

19/06/2026: We used this caterer for a birthday party and everything was fantastic: from the appetizers to the desserts, and the salads and other dishes were delicious and original. The cheese platter was incredible too! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was adapted to accommodate food intolerances and allergies, which is quite complicated! Finally, the service provided to handle the logistics on-site and serve our guests was also perfect, discreet, and very efficient. A huge thank you for your support during our event :)

09/04/2026: The young lady who looked after us was certainly the owner. She gave us a very warm welcome. However, a young man, around thirty years old, was completely unmotivated to work, unfriendly, and not very smiley. We had chosen a hotel with an elevator specifically because of our minor health issues. It was out of order. Unfortunately, these things happen, but to make matters worse, the TV wasn't working either. So, this was more of a mediocre establishment, more like a two-star than a three-star.

30/03/2026: Very comfortable bedding, generous breakfast, and meals excellent value for money. We received a very warm welcome from the woman who greeted us and prepared breakfast.

08/08/2026: The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly. The room was comfortable and nice, with a few minor drawbacks: a musty smell upon arrival and dust on the headboard and bed, which is a problem for those with allergies. However, the room was very quiet, the breakfast offered a good selection, and the products were tasty. It's ideally located for visiting Cheverny.

The reception staff were extremely kind and welcoming. A delicious, varied breakfast—simple yet fresh and tasty. We will definitely return on our next trip to the region. Discovering these dishes was a journey; it was the first time I'd ever eaten something so different, and this unique experience only strengthened my desire to return and try the other dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, both for its cuisine and its warm hospitality—a rich tapestry of colors and flavors in both the food and the welcome.
