14/08/2026: What a wonderful evening at Les Acolytes with our friends and their children! We received a fantastic welcome, enjoyed an air-conditioned dining room, and had a varied menu that ensured everyone found something to their liking among the tapas, from octopus salad and pork ribs to fries, beef tartare with oysters (amazing!), cheeses, and other delicacies. Add to that a fine selection of wines and Trappist and local beers, and you have a truly satisfied family. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to the dynamic, efficient, and incredibly friendly owner! 🌟

31/08/2026: We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and most importantly, I slept incredibly well; the bed was fantastic. 😴 The bedding was good, the sheets were clean, and there was no noise disturbance. The breakfast was good and sufficient to start the day well. Special mention also goes to the lady who greeted us and looked after us; she was very friendly and pleasant. A great place to stay for a peaceful holiday in Chaumont-sur-Loire. We will gladly return!

01/08/2026: Room: Impeccably clean but without air conditioning. The service is very friendly. The hotel's location at the train station, with rooms facing the trains, is convenient. The windows are well soundproofed, but in very hot weather, it reached 38°C in our room, making it impossible to sleep with the windows open. It's an older hotel but very well maintained. More pleasant in the shoulder seasons and winter.

18/03/2026: We had a fantastic weekend at the Relais des Landes, which we booked exclusively for a large family birthday celebration. Everything was perfect, and the team clearly has experience managing this type of event. The hotel is charming, the rooms are spacious, and the dinner was delicious. 11/01/2026: We chose the Relais des Landes for its ideal location near the Loire Valley châteaux, for the image conveyed by its website—promising a relaxing setting—and for the advertised New Year's Eve dinner by a fireplace, in the romantic style typical of the region. The welcome was excellent, courteous, and professional, and we thanked the reception staff for it. However, when asked if our stay had gone well, we felt it necessary to be honest. Having regularly stayed in 4-star hotels, we must say that this establishment falls short of their standard and services, and that the value for money is, as it stands, very disappointing. The room was a real disappointment: aging in every way, with a damaged bed frame, a basic bedside table (a simple plank set into the wall), a very old television, and dated, incoherent decor—even a picture containing… the room's wallpaper. The bathroom was small and lacked the amenities and attention to detail expected in a hotel of this category (old hairdryer, etc.). The housekeeping also left much to be desired: visible dust (dust bunnies under the bed), a dusty remote control, and after the first night, a barely made bed—the duvet simply pulled up—which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Without having pre-booked dinner for December 31st, we would have left the hotel before even settling in, and we seriously considered it. However, the staff were kind enough to place our table near the fireplace for New Year's Eve, which convinced us to stay. We had initially planned to spend the afternoon of the 31st at the hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities, but given the room, we decided against the offered massage and opted to visit the spa at another establishment. Upon our return, we witnessed a public and offensive reprimand directed at a member of the reception staff by someone in charge of preparing the dinner seating plan—a particularly inappropriate scene in front of the other guests. Regarding the New Year's Eve dinner: while the setting was undeniably pleasant, the food itself fell short of expectations, lacking finesse. Fortunately, the service staff were very attentive and greatly contributed to making the experience more enjoyable. Breakfast also proved to be below the expected standard for a 4-star hotel. Without reiterating the arguments already extensively raised in the establishment's responses to other reviews (local cheeses, etc.), it is nonetheless difficult to justify refilling a jar of jam that was already empty the day before. In short, a very disappointing stay—especially for a honeymoon—with a price-quality ratio that clearly did not meet expectations. We would nevertheless like to warmly thank the gentleman at reception for his availability and responsiveness, the young woman who served us at dinner on the 31st, as well as the gentleman—presumably the owner—for his professionalism during service and his commendable knowledge of the wines offered. However, a thorough reassessment seems necessary for the future of this establishment, and we believe that carefully listening to customer feedback—particularly from those familiar with upscale hotels—would be beneficial.

05/06/2026: The setting is truly enchanting. The owner and staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The upstairs room was clean, with a comfortable bed. And the fan did the trick! 😁 We enjoyed a good buffet breakfast with fresh products on the sunny terrace. Dinner is also available, with a lovely menu of regional dishes. 😋 I highly recommend this romantic spot.

16/09/2026: I often go to this cafeteria-style restaurant. Let's just say everything's fine as long as the owners are there, because when the cat's away, the mice will play 😅. If the head chef isn't there, the food is really not great, to be honest. The staff are very friendly, but none of them can actually cook. The pasta carbonara varies depending on who makes it; I mean, once the sauce tasted like white wine... The pizzas are a mess, and it's hard to get a halfway round one. The dough is practically nonexistent; they're not really pizzas (more like flammekueche). As for the sides, they can be very good (when the chef is there) or very bad, honestly. The atmosphere is still pleasant, but when the owners aren't there, the music is too loud and completely inappropriate for the place, and everyone in the kitchen talks a bit too loudly. Furthermore, on the few Sundays I've been there, you can really tell it's leftovers from the week; everything is mixed together, and the hot sauces are all blended into each other. In short, it's a restaurant that's fundamentally friendly but could use a little sprucing up, but the real problem is the decline in the quality of the dishes and the lack of variety (it's always the same thing). It's a shame.

14/09/2026: Dear Sir/Madam, On Saturday, I was parking to go to the Leclerc shopping center with my wife and daughter. We passed the Crescendo restaurant around 11:30 a.m. We noticed a strong smell that seemed to be cannabis near the terrace. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've witnessed this kind of situation: on several occasions, we've seen two or three young people wearing aprons smoking. The first time, I was already surprised to see a young man smoking with his apron on near the restaurant. But seeing this situation repeated is particularly concerning. I didn't have this impression of the establishment, and I find this situation truly regrettable, especially since it involves a place frequented by families. Following our observations, I immediately advised my daughter against doing her internship at Crescendo and suggested she look for another establishment. I find this unacceptable and wanted to express my dissatisfaction with this situation. I hope this report will be taken seriously and that measures can be considered to ensure the area around the establishment remains a welcoming and reassuring place for customers and families. 18/05/2026: Places like this are a joy to find. We arrived at the end of service and the person greeted us with a smile so we could have lunch: a homemade dish with fries just the way we like them, and a delicious dessert too. Very friendly. Highly recommended.
