13/12/2024: The location at the gates of Chambord Castle, the most beautiful in the Loire, is definitely worth it. The hotel does not deserve the SLH category due to the lack of management and maintenance, both in rooms and common areas. The service seems very novice and presumptuous. Of course you need to pay a good manager to look at the maintenance details. The restaurant and food service, although it claims to be good, almost always loses in the details of food temperature or point. Classic cocktails and very good local wines. A location pays to visit the main wonders of the eastern Loire area.

09/07/2025: Awesome location with the best view on this magnificent castle. Cannot get enough of this view which become private after visit hours. Great service with valet and private parking. Enjoyable spa to relax after a day of visit. Great restaurant, delicious food with a good wine menu.

17/08/2024: Great Portuguese restaurant. Top service and great homemade dishes. All you can eat buffet. Great value for money. And the service is excellent. A dish that changes every day with cod on Fridays. Fatima always smiling.

22/09/2024: Sur la route, ce petit restaurant dans un petit village près du grand Chambord est une belle découverte. Le soir, il propose un menu simple avec une suggestion à l'ardoise et quelques plats à la carte. C'est de la cuisine maison traditionnelle, simple et savoureuse. Le cadre est atypique avec une ambiance brocante, des objets chinés, des tables et chaises dépareillées. Dommage que nombre d'objets portent des slogans en langue anglaise. Le service est plutôt rapide et le cuisinier s'enquiert de la satisfaction de ses clients à table. Les tarifs sont ceux d'une auberge sans prétention à la campagne et sont donc très raisonnables. La serveuse n'est pas aimable mais on passera sur ce détail à relativiser lorsqu'on est de passage.

06/09/2024: Un steak à cheval à 17,90 On peut s attendre à quelques choses de bon! Et bien non ... steak de couleur pâle ayant un goût insipide,je pourrai penser que le steak sort du congélateur et hop un aller retour. Le steak de mon compagnon dans son hamburger était lui très bon. Signaler au serveur car j ai laissé la moitié du steak dans mon assiette,aucun geste en retour.... Un restaurant à ne pas conseiller ,

18/11/2024: Very attractive weekday lunch price for 15 euros starter + cheese + dessert buffet and in addition a main course that is difficult to beat Food quality is excellent The all-you-can-eat buffet menu on weekends is perfect, there is even salmon with a large choice of dessert and the cheese buffet is very extensive.

06/09/2024: A real delight! My husband and I passed by the storefront by chance and seeing the tarte tatin we went inside. The ladies were particularly welcoming, taking great care even though there were still around thirty minutes before closing. The tarte tatin was as melt-in-your-mouth as possible, sweet and tangy. The pistachio financier was delicious and soft without being cloying. We had a wonderful, delicious time!
