30/07/2026: Home-style cooking, well prepared. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because I think the price should be a few euros lower considering the simplicity of the dishes. The service was decent and friendly, but there was no salt, pepper, or sauce, and the information about the side dishes was lacking. The staff wasn't particularly attentive, etc.

01/03/2026: We can't say anything about the restaurant service, it was exceptional! I feel sorry for the staff, as they were very helpful and kind. It seems like there are two separate departments. But the room! You shouldn't be allergic to dust! On the other hand, the bathroom was very clean! The hotel is a bit dated. We found stains on the sheets! We do recommend the restaurant, though.

17/05/2026: We came to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. The setting is very pleasant and welcoming. However, we opted for the €42 set menu, which included a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert, all served in a mere 1 hour and 15 minutes, including an aperitif. The main course was very generous, but the presentation needs improvement (the potato was wrapped in rather rough foil, and the cheese was cut on a completely unsuitable platter). The chocolate fondant wasn't really a fondant at all, but rather a very hard chocolate tart that was difficult to cut.

19/02/2026: The food was good. The service was pleasant. I left my umbrella there and haven't been able to get it back since. I managed to reach them on the phone, but strangely enough, my umbrella has disappeared even though I called that day and they told me they'd put it aside. Don't forget anything, because you won't get it back. 😡😡

18/02/2026: We went there with some hesitation given some of the reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were charming and helpful, the food was very good and beautifully presented. The setting was very pleasant.

24/08/2026: A lovely little bar with a pleasant view of the park directly opposite. The atmosphere is friendly and, despite the nearby road, it remains relatively quiet. It's easy to settle in for a quiet chat, which is really nice. The nearby parking is also very convenient, especially when stopping for a break during a day of sightseeing. I particularly appreciated finding the bar open on Sundays: perfect for a short break and a chance to recharge after exploring Blois and the surrounding area. A simple, pleasant, and well-located spot that I'll definitely keep in mind for a future visit!

09/05/2026: We ate here in the evening... great atmosphere on the terrace in the garden... the 3-course menu was superb... and at a very reasonable price (€36)... highly recommended.

06/05/2026: We spent one night there, had dinner, and breakfast. The location is excellent, with parking right in front. The service was attentive, and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Dinner was simple but well-prepared, and breakfast was very good.

24/08/2026: We must have gone on a bad day. The service was extremely slow and disorganized. At the end of our meal, after expressing our dissatisfaction, we were told they were short a waitress. Personally, I was disappointed with the butcher's cut, and when dessert arrived, it was no longer available (even though we had ordered it at the same time as our main course...). We were offered something else as a substitute.

21/05/2026: Since our last visit in September 2018, we were delighted to see familiar and friendly faces again, and received a very warm welcome 👍, but we already knew that 😏, which is why we came back... 😉 The food and service were top-notch 😋😋 Don't change a thing, we'll be back 👏👏

16/05/2026: A very warm welcome; everyone is extremely kind, from reception to the restaurant and breakfast, and they offer helpful advice. The inn is very quiet, and the good restaurant is attentive to guests' needs. My daughter has food allergies, and they immediately offered an alternative. The beautiful English garden, along with the availability of foosball, ping pong, and badminton, is a real bonus. I only gave the rooms 3 stars because we stayed in the annex, and both rooms could use some updating (stained walls and floor), so they weren't very clean, and the pillows need replacing. There was a lot of condensation in the bathroom, but no mold, so the room was still clean. However, the bedding was very comfortable, with immaculate white sheets. Free parking is available. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay at this quiet inn again, where we felt right at home. A big thank you to everyone! 😀

17/06/2026: Honestly, there's not much to say about the food; it was quite good. However, the service was disastrous. The waitress was extremely rude, even detestable. We went there to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday, and the waitress shouted to announce the dishes and get our attention. There was no friendly interaction whatsoever. Just shouting to announce what she was going to serve us. I felt very uncomfortable and I hated it.

03/09/2026: Excellent! And twice over (a table of 15 in the evening and a table of 3 at lunchtime). The service is quick and the food is of high quality with lots of flavor, whether you choose from the à la carte menu or the daily special. Bravo!
