10/09/2024: We make a point of coming here for a meal whenever we are in the area. Friendly service, excellent food, and outstanding value! Deservedly popular.
Just returned for another lovely meal on our way back home. As always, a most pleasant experience, one which we will look continue in future visits to France!

03/09/2024: Passing through to visit the region, I chose this restaurant in view of the positive comments. Very warm welcome, we took the menu for €19 with sirloin and dish of the day (veal's liver). Excellent. From the appetizer buffet to the dessert, everything was good. I recommend.

13/09/2024: A lovely hotel and very convenient for visiting the Chateaux De Chambourd.
Unfortunately the breakfast and restaurant experience are not up to the normal Relais hotel standards. The proximity to the Chateaux appears to generate a captive market approach not what you would expect from a hotel of this price.
15/06/2024: Lovely hotel and good service from the valet and check-in. The staff (particularly at night) isn’t the most polished and when the power went out they just giggled uncontrollably like school girls. The restaurant and bar have its own listing on Google, and the 1.8 out of 5 stars is definitely deserved. Terrible staff, untrained and unprofessional at every turn. Christmas music constantly playing in June and an inability to cope with even the simplest requests.

26/08/2024: Very warm welcome, refined and delicious cuisine with a play on tastes and an interesting texture! Daring and delicious weddings!
The service is very fast and pleasant. Responsive and smiling staff!
The 2nd room is nicer than the first. Having a view of the kitchen with the swing door is not very pleasant, and we share our conversations with those of the neighbors because the tables are close.
Thank you for this great culinary experience
15/08/2024: a place worth the detour!! Go find this pretty little restaurant, with a chef who knows how to cook dishes with original flavors with great originality. The card may seem thin, and the prices slightly high, but the value for money is more than interesting. Other nearby restaurants at the same price don't do as well! An address not to be missed!! (We tested the 2 menus in 1 week and our taste buds still remember them.

14/08/2024: Excellent restaurant which has recently reopened. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Homemade dishes without a doubt. Value for money👍I'm not giving it 5 stars because my little shrimp skewer which was excellent only contained 3 shrimp. Damage. It would have deserved 2 more anyway.
We will return there for sure.

17/08/2024: Great Portuguese restaurant. Top service and great homemade dishes. All you can eat buffet. Great value for money. And the service is excellent. A dish that changes every day with cod on Fridays. Fatima always smiling.

03/09/2024: Very nice but do not know how to cook the marine mussels which arrive half cooked, some even raw. Hence a lot of losses. Also some mussels so small that they are inedible!! The sauce was good. Good fries and ice cream.
02/09/2024: Restaurant very well located at the foot of the castle and not too expensive. I had a croque-monsieur, fried salad for €9.90, very good. My husband enjoyed a very good Roquefort mussels and fries too. We were served very quickly.
The toilets are clean.
The only downside was the salted butter caramel crepe, not salty enough for my taste.

26/09/2023: We were wonderfully welcomed with family for the wedding weekend. The rooms are very clean and very well decorated in the gîtes. Very comfortable beds. Parking in the courtyard. Well soundproofed, no noise during the night even if it was a little short. Top breakfast. We will recommend this very beautiful place to our friends passing through the region.

Car parking inside the property with large park.
