01/07/2026: Away from the port, near the train station, a happy accident. In the middle of a heatwave, we received a warm welcome from a friendly and efficient waitress. This is a working-class restaurant with delicious homemade food. That day we enjoyed a wonderful skate with capers and shellfish sauce... a buffet of very fresh crudités, charcuterie, and seafood, cheese or dessert, and a quarter bottle of wine included in the €15.50 set menu. If we return to Le Pouliguen, we will definitely stop by! 🙂👍

10/04/2026: After eight weeks at this establishment, I would like to commend all the staff, who were impeccable. The receptionists and housekeeping staff did everything to make my extended stay as pleasant as possible, and I was always greeted with a smile.

11/04/2026: We came with 10 aircraft from the South Vendée region for lunch together. Seventeen pilots, students, and instructors were around the table.
Excellent welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money: a starter, main course, and dessert for €20—that's impressive, and it was delicious. Well done!
The service was quick and efficient.
In short, a very good place to eat, and we'll gladly return.

14/06/2026: Caribbean evening on Saturday, June 13, 2026: hundreds of people enjoyed a great atmosphere on the Divatte beach with summer weather. It's a shame there wasn't enough Caribbean food. By 8 pm, there were no more accras (fritters)!!! And the coconut and pineapple chicken that was served was disgusting, tasteless and boiled!
01/06/2026: I don't make a habit of writing bad reviews, especially not if I haven't eaten there (the food didn't look appetizing either), but I still wanted to mention this.
During the bike ride, they refused to refill my water bottles; I've never experienced anything like it! I was standing at the bar with the tap in front of me; it really wouldn't have been any trouble. Oh yes, if we ate there, they would do it.
A few kilometers further on, they didn't make a fuss about it at all!

15/02/2026: We came based on word of mouth. The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect. The atmosphere was a little too noisy for us, probably due to a lack of soundproofing. The simple setting, a beautiful table in the center of the room, and a warm welcome completed this pleasant experience.
27/01/2026: A simple menu, good ingredients!
The service was just a tad slow during lunch, but the interior was quite calm and therefore very pleasant.
Special mention to the French toast, made with BONNIN brioche, absolutely divine 😋

28/06/2026: A very friendly restaurant with a lovely, albeit limited, menu (all homemade!): 5 starters, 5 main courses, and 5 desserts, all of excellent quality! The staff were very kind and welcoming. A superb family stop on the way to the ocean.

No à la carte menu??? That's not what their website says!
Only 14 customers and an hour for the two of us!
Let's talk about the food... lamb's lettuce salad and roast pork. The set menus (17 and 25) for starter + main and starter + main + dessert are expensive.
The cherry on top: the napkins with the old restaurant's name on them.
Very disappointed, I don't recommend it, avoid it.
