12/10/2025: Very calm setting and atmosphere, price a little high compared to the menus.

07/09/2025: We had lunch at L'Orée du Bois a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which is clearly a few years old but well-maintained and in very good condition. The dining room is elegant and quiet. We had a lovely view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The amuse-bouches were pleasant, but the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, presented in a style reminiscent of 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Truly none, which is surprising given that these fruits are at their peak ripeness at this time of year. The service was unfriendly, unavailable, and gave the impression of being forced to work without any enjoyment. We agreed that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

21/06/2026: Quite disappointed. This was our fourth time eating at this restaurant, which we usually enjoy, and frankly, we were quite let down. They advertised shredded beef, but the meat was rather tough and didn't shred at all. 😔😔

28/08/2026: A disappointing and unprofessional experience. We wanted to eat in, so it was an extra five euros for a simple place with nothing special. Furthermore, the service was not only very poor, but the set menus were also good.

25/08/2026: Hello, We bought a mille-feuille and a strawberry tart which were delicious, and the chocolate croissants were also very good. We'll shop with you whenever we can; it's a real pleasure. In any case, thank you to the staff (who were very friendly) and best of luck!

29/03/2026: I found it extremely expensive for what it was. The fries were burnt. The mayonnaise contained walnuts, but it wasn't mentioned, so what a surprise! The sausage was rock hard; I've never seen anything like it. It took several of us to cut it, and frankly, it was incredibly difficult. (It was still very good, though.) And the wait for our food orders was incredibly long! Charging almost €15 for a liter of punch when there was barely any rum... The fruit cocktail was very good, though. The music wasn't loud enough; we couldn't hear anything at all. The bartenders were very friendly, but not the man in the kitchen, who was aggressive and not at all friendly (and didn't even respond to polite greetings). Overall, I don't recommend it.

24/08/2026: Judging by the photos and the website, it looks good, but actually, it's nothing like that. Since when do you address a customer informally to take an order? There's no drinks or food menu. The food is disappointing; the wrap is not worthy of a restaurant and should be avoided. The ice cream sundae had two scoops placed in a Basque-style glass. The prices are high for the quality of the food. They even still have napkins from the previous establishment... This is what you call a bad experience.

20/08/2026: Fresh, seasonal produce, everything is homemade, I highly recommend it, warm service!!

07/09/2026: No interaction whatsoever, and despite the tip, no thanks! The waiter and waitress were both unhelpful and uninteresting! As restaurant owners, we deserve credit for having quality staff who know how to take care of their customers!

10/09/2026: The guy who showed us to our table was very polite and welcoming but the two women serving the tables were not at all hospitable. We had good food but very slow service and despite asking to place our order several times we had to wait 40 minutes before ordering. Lovely location in middle of the action.

10/07/2026: Truly delightful treats served with immense kindness. The hardest part is resisting the temptation to buy them every time you walk by! We always return with great pleasure, never having been disappointed by the quality and variety of their canelés. A must-try!

25/06/2026: We ordered canelés for our civil wedding reception and they were absolutely delicious. All our guests loved them! Communication was very smooth. We highly recommend them!

09/06/2026: Lovely rooms and food, some of the staff could be a bit more friendly.

03/06/2026: The rooms are modern and functionally furnished, with soundproof windows, which are definitely necessary when facing the street. Breakfast is also suitable for vegans, although the selection of cheese and meat options is predominantly vegan.

21/02/2026: Before... it was good! Now, I'm getting a big head! Well, the airport hasn't arrived yet! They seem to prefer wealthy customers; I must be too limited! They refuse reservations on the pretext that they only have superior rooms left, without even offering me an offer... Good luck to them!

31/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to L'Abreuvoir and its team, whether for lunch, dinner, or other occasions like New Year's. We will gladly return.

11/07/2026: The à la carte menu is very expensive, and the €38 set menu is unjustified given the frozen food and ridiculously small portions. The salad was wilted and lacked dressing, the rice was dry, the meat and desserts were frozen, and the service was nonexistent. Avoid at all costs!

01/07/2026: Hello, I'm giving this restaurant one star. The prices are far too high considering the quality of the food. I ordered a duck confit that was nothing like a real confit: the meat was dry, stuck to the bone, and completely tasteless. It was very disappointing. The cuisine seemed outdated and made with mediocre ingredients. Based on my experience, the value for money is far from satisfactory. I do not recommend this establishment.

13/07/2026: It's impossible to rate anything other than the aperitif, which was served an hour after we were seated. Sorry, but a two-hour wait was the limit of our patience, so we left without eating. It's possible a staff member was absent; in that case, customers should be informed. We would have understood and decided whether to stay or not. And if the team was full, the manager should consider filling the remaining positions quickly.
