11/09/2024: During our long vacation of several months in France this summer we discovered and frequented many bakeries and patisseries. The best was Ô’Rustique in Sainte Marie sur Mer near Pornic. During our month of July in Pornic we walked several kilometers to wait in a long queue to get the delights of this oh so delicious bakery. And the staff was always smiling, helpful and ready to serve us. Easily our bakery and pastry during our 8,000 km traveled throughout France this summer.

03/12/2025: Excellent find! L’Écluse restaurant offers a very warm welcome and impeccable service. The dishes are delicious and generous. A true pleasure from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

22/11/2025: November 22, 2025 Total disappointment at this restaurant. The meat on the simple main course was perfect, but the amount of vegetables was really meager. I mentioned this to the waitress, who replied that the lettuce leaf was for decoration and that she didn't know about the quantity of fries. I had to get up to ask for the bread they had forgotten to serve us. I asked if I could have cheese instead of dessert; the answer was: no, we don't have that (which I can understand). I also asked if I could have a small bowl of whipped cream for €2 (without ice cream); the answer was: no, we don't do that. DISCUSSION

25/01/2026: The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert! They have a very good pastry chef! We were quite disappointed by the rest. Overall, the entire meal lacked flavor, from the amuse-bouche to the main course! The price of the set menu didn't seem justified for what was on the plate. The "perfect egg" was advertised with Colonnata lard, but there wasn't any... and the pulled pork dish with coleslaw was far from what we had imagined this restaurant would be like, a place we were looking forward to visiting. It lacked refinement. The wine prices were definitely on the high end! The restaurant's decor is very nice, but that's clearly not everything... and it's not very intimate; with large tables, it gets very noisy!

10/07/2025: I was impressed by the dynamism and creativity of the Lieu Unique. It boasts superb exhibitions and a friendly atmosphere. A pleasant café, a fascinating industrial building, and numerous cultural events. A great way to spend a few hours in Nantes.

11/01/2026: We ate lunch at Le Bateau Ivre yesterday and loved it. Both the mussels and the crêpes were excellent. A special touch was Sylvain, a lovely, very professional, and attentive waiter. We highly recommend it. We'll be back. From Nantes and Paris.

21/04/2025: Attached is Chinese I smelled something delicious from afar while walking down the street, and followed the scent to a small shop with just one staff member inside. The prices were very affordable, and after trying it, I can honestly say it’s the best crêpe I’ve ever had so far! I got the basic sugar flavor, and it was already incredibly tasty—so fragrant! I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this place. It looks like a spot only locals would know about, but I guess the most delicious food is often found in these hidden little gems. Highly recommended!” I smelled the aroma from a distance while walking on the road, and walked along the aroma to a small shop. There was only one staff member inside, and the price was very cheap. After trying it, it was the best crepe I have ever eaten so far😍😋. I ordered the basic flavor with sugar, which was already delicious, it was really delicious! 🤤I was lucky enough to come here. It seems like only locals would visit this shop, but delicacies in the world usually only appear in such obscure shops~ It is recommended to eat here!

15/09/2024: Not too many emotions, nice hostel, quality dishes, but you can find all this almost everywhere, the negative note which spoils everything are the prices, in my opinion exorbitant and unjustified for certain dishes, we paid 65€ per person with a bottle of first-price wine at €22. to avoid if you are good eaters. Value for money/quality/quantity 2/5
