17/02/2026: A charming crêperie; we were drawn in by the delicious aromas. The owner gave us a wonderful welcome, and the excellent cook delighted our taste buds with delicious homemade treats, including caramel. Don't hesitate to go in; you won't be disappointed! 😋

13/02/2026: I sat down at a table at the restaurant Le Canclaux, which I highly recommend. The welcome was warm, the food was magnificent, very well served, and the price was quite reasonable.
21/01/2026: If you're visiting Nantes and can only go to a few restaurants, this should be one of them. If you like steak, their onglet de boeuf is the best steak we've ever had, anywhere, of any kind -- I don't care what cut, or if it's slathered in foir gras -- their onglet is our favorite steak, and we don't know why. Everything we've ever tried there (and we go there often and like variety) has exceeded our expectations. Reservations are a must, because we're not the only ones who've discovered this place. Some places excel in either their starters or their desert, but here it's hard to have only one or the other. Their menu, which changes regularly, typically has 3-5 starters, 5-7 mains, and 3-5 deserts, so always a good variety, and always something new. We strongly recommend.

18/12/2025: Papill' is a private self-service concept, offering 4 to 5 daily choices of traditional main courses with various side dishes, and a system for depositing starters and desserts. It's delicious, it's hearty, it's fast—look no further, it's the best "canteen" around! 😉 And one day, we all hope the chef will revive the "Karius" concept; burger fans in Nantes will know exactly what they're getting into by that name. 😉

With only three dishes on the menu, you're guaranteed a completely homemade, original meal made with local ingredients.

A warm and relaxed atmosphere, a consistently pleasant welcome, and the food is simply divine... very affordable meals, which is a real plus!! A very varied and excellent menu.
Simplicity and efficiency, thanks to the fantastic work of the managers... I highly recommend it!!! It's quickly becoming my go-to spot, a real gem in the area 🤩😍

12/03/2026: Not great; service was okay, but the food was mass-produced. The tapas starter had undercooked pizza bread (it didn't really resemble tapas). The burger bun was like cardboard, and the fries were tasteless; the vegetarian option wasn't any better. The chocolate dessert was mass-produced.
The atmosphere is pleasant if you enjoy being surrounded by large, noisy tables.
We won't be back.
