15/09/2024: Discovery for us of the Conciergerie, Very warm welcome with very good service. Gourmet plate of seafood and veal head with gribiche sauce, a pure treat 😋 To try is to adopt it! For sure, we will come back to it😉

25/10/2025: The Artists' Bar... A place I frequented in the late 1980s. The walls were covered with posters of actors, singers, and other celebrities from times gone by. The wall decor is now much more contemporary and offbeat, but the essence remains. And somewhere, a certain nostalgia remains, for that time, for that something in us, for us, that passes, despite our will but... The bartender was pleasant, even friendly. A must-visit bar in Saint-Etienne.

04/06/2025: Salmon gravlax starter, OK. Main course: fish (much overcooked, water on the plate) served with "frozen" carrot puree that adds nothing, too bland, not satisfying, tasteless, no pepper, no salt, a bit acidic even, this dish lacks smoothness, flavor, and deliciousness, a shame! Dessert: sponge cake filled with cream and fresh fruit, pleasant at the end of the meal. Very friendly, efficient team.

15/09/2024: A very pleasant moment around an excellent meal. Taking advantage of the soapbox race this Sunday we had lunch at the Auberge du Crozet. Very good terrine as a starter, entrecote with a delicious wine sauce and fish chaplain with grilled vegetables. A panacotta with exotic fruits and speculoos as well as an almond pear and salted butter caramel tart finally satisfied us. The children enjoyed a chicken burger and very good fries. We will return with great pleasure!

11/11/2024: For a night or two, decent hotel close to the N88 exit. Despite the proximity of the motorway, the rooms are very well soundproofed and the bedding is excellent. Small bathroom and tiny shower tray with curtain. Used carpet. Overall good for resting before hitting the road again.

18/10/2025: Always a warm welcome. The crepes are excellent. There's a lot to choose from. I recommend it. For me, it's the best creperie in Roanne.

19/08/2025: Very disappointed with my experience. Although the crepes were good, the service was very slow. I can understand that. However, when you ask the server to take your order because we're going back to work, being told by the waitress "people in a hurry should just go to McDonald's" is not very businesslike. I won't be going back.

21/12/2024: Very beautiful setting, great welcome from restaurateurs. The chef comes to see you at the end of the service. It has become so rare! Extraordinary flavors, a little extra during the aperitif at a time when you can no longer find peanuts. Everything is homemade! The place is magical (beautiful building) and the flavors are simply sketched. Paintings decorate the places where everything is Art. Thank you very much to the couple of restaurateurs who have remained humble. Extraordinary talents of foie gras, fish, succulent prawns, beef with morels and tiramisu. Even coffee doesn’t have a common taste.
