The dishes were delicious, refined, and superbly presented—a true feast for the eyes and taste buds. You could feel the passion behind every bite.
A very special mention to the chef, who successfully combined creativity, finesse, and generosity. A true talent! 👨🍳✨
And what about the service? The servers were exemplary in their professionalism: cheerful, attentive, efficient, yet discreet. They greatly contributed to the success of the evening.
As a guest, I was impressed by the quality of the service. An exceptional culinary experience that I recommend without hesitation. Congratulations to the entire team, and thank you.

So we came back for a second time.
And it was just as wonderful!!
The service was provided by a very pleasant and attentive young apprentice.
The chef was accommodating and eager to please.
And the hostess was as kind and passionate as ever about her work and...plants... ♡

As for the quality of the food, I'm disappointed.
It's gone downhill.
The service was slow, with the waiter (who was overconfident) forgetting things and forcing us to get our own drinks and coffee. And we never received any bread!
Also, be careful with the whipped cream (it comes in a can); make it yourself!
What a shame.

10/04/2026: The owner is unbearable and treats customers very badly, and the prices are far too high for the quantity. Having ordered savory items, I doubt the freshness of the products.

Lacking flavor, tasteless food.
Amuse-bouche: a parmesan lollipop—bizarre—two mussels in an unidentifiable jelly—really not good.
For the starter, a greasy sausage with small pieces of pork on top.
A small piece of fish with lots of greens.
The only redeeming feature was a pleasant and smiling welcome.
Too expensive for the set menu. We will not be returning.

10/09/2025: The hotel is well-located for visiting Charlieu. The food is impeccable, meticulous, and original. The service is friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Perhaps the only downside is that the rooms are very clean but average in size. Oh, and I forgot, the breakfast is carefully prepared with local products, which isn't common in hotels.

The dining room is pleasant with tables thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort.
Cloth tablecloths and napkins (a feature becoming increasingly rare in many establishments).
The €22 set menu included a starter, main course, and dessert.
Everything was excellent; presented with great care and friendly service. A very welcome surprise: a small ramekin of crème brûlée with fennel and peppers as an amuse-bouche, and after dessert, another delightful surprise: a platter of various treats to choose from!
Bravo!
I highly recommend this restaurant.
