07/08/2026: The setting is nice, but we were disappointed by part of the service. A gentleman wasn't very pleasant, both when taking our order and explaining the dishes. The menu prices are a bit high in my opinion, and there's a little note on the bill encouraging you not to use your credit card too much.

31/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We booked based on other reviews and we weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional young man. We enjoyed a selection of delicious dishes, each more delightful than the last. They featured products rarely found elsewhere (sweetbreads, Velay verbena ice cream, etc.). Plus, the concept was fantastic: a mix of top-quality meats that we cooked on individual tabletop barbecues. Congratulations to the Chef and his team who work behind the scenes. We felt completely at ease. We will definitely return with great pleasure.

03/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery at Côté à Côté! With this sweltering heat, it's hard to find anything better than a succession of tartares… and what a treat! We started with an ultra-fresh salmon tartare, perfectly seasoned, bursting with flavor and freshness. The presentation was elegant, and the balance of textures was perfect: a true delight. Then came the beef tartare, hand-cut, tender, generous, and prepared with top-quality ingredients. The seasoning was spot-on, the meat was flavorful… simply excellent. Beyond the dishes, we also appreciated the ambiance, the warm welcome, and the attentive service from beginning to end. During a heatwave, this is the ideal place to enjoy fresh, delicious, and perfectly executed dishes. An excellent experience that we will gladly repeat. We recommend it without hesitation! 👏 Bravo to the entire Côté à Côté team!

30/07/2026: We came for a two-hour donkey ride with our little girl. Initially, the owner wasn't very friendly. We paid before leaving. We left after an hour and came back because the donkey refused to go up any hills. Nothing serious, we returned the donkey with its riding helmet to the owner and turned to leave. That's when he said to us in a very unpleasant tone: "You should remember to pay before leaving!" 😡 We also told him we'd come back for ice cream, and his response was: "Oh, but it's going to be difficult to make ice cream during service..." even though we were going to come back after service. Too bad for him... I think this man should change careers and, above all, avoid any kind of business. I strongly advise against going there.

18/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at Dolce Vita in Montbrison. The waitress was very pleasant, always smiling, and attentive to our requests. The service was quick, efficient, and delivered with a smile, which was much appreciated. The daily special was excellent, generous, beautifully presented, and very tasty. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. A great place that I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

17/07/2026: After reading some reviews, we were curious to form our own opinion, especially regarding the waitress. We discovered a professional, smiling, and very efficient person. Far from the image of someone "unpleasant," "curt," or "aggressive," she remained polite, attentive, and responsive despite the fast pace of service. It's clear she knows her job and does her best to satisfy customers, even when it's busy. It's easy to misinterpret someone's behavior when the service is hectic, but we saw a dedicated and respectful waitress. Thank you for your warm welcome and professionalism; we will gladly return.

25/07/2026: A restaurant in the heart of Saint-Étienne with a shaded terrace, a refined daily special featuring two fish and two meat dishes accompanied by fresh vegetables from the local farmers' market, a lovely dessert menu, and all at a very reasonable price. A very pleasant family meal. A sixth star for the immediate care of our four-legged companion who was with us. Impeccable service. Thank you for this lunch.

08/07/2026: I was absolutely delighted with my visit to Café de l'Opéra; the atmosphere and decor are truly warm and welcoming. The service was top-notch, with a very professional welcome and a smiling waiter. Incredible value for money; I highly recommend it.

29/06/2026: Truly disappointed! After booking online at noon for 1:45 pm, we received an email confirming our reservation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, a waitress initially told us the restaurant was full, before informing us that the cooks had finished their shift. Not wanting to make a scene, we left without even being offered a glass of water. During a heatwave, that would have been the bare minimum. Of course, at that hour, it was very difficult to find another restaurant. However, a big thank you to La Taverne Alsacienne, who were kind enough to welcome us without a reservation despite the late hour. Their hospitality saved our lunch. A very disappointing experience, especially when a confirmed reservation is not honored and no solution or compensation is offered.
